Unfortunately, many such teachers ( in general, not referring to you) either have too much spiritual ego or they want to earn money. ( not some, for survival, but lots and lots) So, clinging to a single teacher without knowing him is never good for us. Also, there is no proper metric to judge whether they are above us or below us. This forum, along with other internet sources can be a good source of spiritual knowledge, if the noise is filtered. Also, trying different Spiritual gurus' ideas is also a good thing to do. But clinging to a single teacher is very dangerous, in my opinion. If you can open your mind, the whole universe can literally be the best teacher. -
Already the film is facing political pressure before release, please don't delay it further by filing infringement cases, the fans will be angry. They will do anything for their hero!

A movie named Leo is releasing there. Thought that would be funny, with all the craze around Leo here.

There are many reasons why people enter into Spirituality. The two major reasons are: 1. I am undergoing intense suffering and I need relief from them 2. I have too many questions about reality and I want answers. For those who are in the first category, Enlightenment becomes a need more than a want comparatively, and any path they find to reach there can be beneficial. But for those in the second category, desiring straight for the answers without any work can become detrimental for their own welfare or even their life. For such people, the best way to seek is to strengthen the heart first. Strengthening the heart involves practicing the following qualities: 1. Compassion 2. Gratitude 3. Forgiveness 4. Unconditional love. The first three are comparatively easier to practice either through meditation or by introducing them in our everyday life, whereas the last one takes time. Once the heart is strong, even mild meditation like 10 minutes everyday can lead to greater insights quickly as the ego is automatically weakened through strengthening of heart. Another side effect of a strong heart is immense joy. If the heart is not strengthened, and ego dissolution or other spiritual experiences are achieved through shortcuts, it will take a very long time to comprehend what you have experienced, and it will turn your life upside down, leading to questioning of life and its purpose, sollipism, dark night of the soul etc., because your ego will return to it's natural state soon after the experience. The person with a strong heart will recover sooner as their natural ego state is already less.

Still they had the same discussions as we now do in the forum, some of which became a part of the religion considering its high value, as spirituality didn't and doesn't need science to get developed. -

Some of what those religions say may be advanced or turquoise or whatever you label it, but religions in general I feel are a hindrance to our spiritual growth. But, they do play a vital role in increasing our faith in a higher power. -

I think you are right! -

You may be right, and what you say is good for me as an individual soul, but everything happening happens with interconnectedness. You don't need everyone to follow ideas like this. But even a few trying to follow it will impact others in a good way. I might just simply post my ideas and sit back and relax and enjoy the show like you have mentioned, if everyone does the same, there will remain a few set of people who resist all or most of other's ideas and they will remain the same always without improvement. Those set of people will or might get benefitted by this idea followed by me or someone else. -

Yep! If it is a website, I can list all the ways to do something right, but in a forum, it's all about having discussions about a particular thing, no matter of it is right or wrong. But, finally we can come to conclusions like this while the idea also gets its required impact. -

Thank you for identifying your bias and agreeing to that openly. Only few people can do that. Keep the same character as you learn more and more, and you will then learn the most. Though most of what I type arise from my conscious logical thinking, some words that I type arise intuitionally, that sometimes I have to recheck why I have wrote that and where it came from and how it seem to have deep meanings! -
An young being replied to HMD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I already think it is possible! How and why? Logic and reason arise from our older beliefs and knowledge from our past experiences. So, it is not necessary for everything to function logically to be correct. Ironically, this too arise from logic! -

You may be right, but there are two ways to challenge others belief systems and I am talking about the second one as quoted below: -

Ps: By single, stupid logical brain, I meant science or collective discussion is a better way to logically decipher experiences rather than trying to find out all by ourselves as an individual, just to feel better about ourselves egoistically. -

The questions arising in your mind like why, how, what? -

Only their body will become like you have mentioned, but their mental strength and their power over their own mind would have developed multifold. Most of the people around me from stuck in poverty and in hard working families have become great leaders, whereas those born in rich families destroy their parents inheritance. -

I am not talking about social abuse here. Please read my previous posts carefully. I have pit them here for reference: When it comes to Spirituality, ego is the main obstacle. Whenever we learn some new insight through some Spiritual practice or other means, it pulls us one step up, but when you see down from there and think you are above others, the whole staircase moves two steps distance down. This section is all about Spirituality, so if you want to do something good for the people here, hurt their ego as much as possible, so that the entire staircase moves upwards, but make sure your staircase is not moving down in that process. This is applicable to people who are suffering and see Spirituality as a way out, and I agree it will hurt them, but I am talking about people who have firm beliefs regarding Spiritual concepts (and I believe that constitutes most of the forum members) and hurting their ego is for their own good. Sorry that I didn't add the word Spiritual before ego. -

It's not the people who are rocks, but their spiritual ego, the stubbornness in their mind that they are always right and they are 100% enlightened. Only in spiritual forums, where seeking Enlightenment is the goal, particularly this section, not everywhere. I don't talk like this in my real life or any other forums or when people ask for help. -
An young being replied to ChrisZoZo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes. Since you are the chosen one, you have to sacrifice a lot for God and the people. -
An young being replied to r0ckyreed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
For those who want to logically understand reality, there is science. For those who want to experience reality as it is, there is Spirituality. If we try to use our stupid single logical brain to understand the experience, it might lead to delusions, if not carefully thought and deciphered the experience. Eventually, science might reach a point where it could try to understand the experience, and it could reach upto the last point before the experience as far as allowed by our brain or God or whatever, but going beyond that is not possible in my opinion, as long as we are human. -
An young being replied to HMD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There are many normal level logic and reasoning not discovered yet but can be understood by humans. -
An young being replied to HMD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
And so are all the insights derived from spiritual experiences. -
An young being replied to An young being's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Whether the higher power is myself or I am being deceived doesn't matter. All I know is that there exists a higher power or a power beyond our logic. Sounds interesting! -
An young being replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
To be frank, many people here are either addicted to this forum or have a lot of free time in their hands or both. There is nothing wrong in discussing with like minded people about our experiences and trying to find or verify answers for our questions, but doing only that without contemplating or meditating and not developing other spiritual qualities may be a dangerous act.
