  1. I too limit myself to certain things when it comes to exploring internet, and presently I am stuck with this forum. But, I change or rotate my interests once in a while. I also spend a lot of time on the internet or the digital world, so I might have a few points useful for you. It's important that we open ourself to fields outside of your interests you haven't explored yet: If you consider YouTube, you can unsubscribe from the usual channels you follow and explore different categories like comedy, documentaries, animation, animals, science, diy, education, short films, talks, vlogs etc. A good way to find such hidden gems is to use the YouTube crawler using this link. https://channelcrawler.com/ Trying different movie and tv series genres of different eras outside of your comfort zone, in different languages. Reading fictional and non fictional ebooks of different genres and countries. Watching live sports other than those you like online. Learning new and interesting courses using websites like udemy, Coursera, LinkedIn etc. Trying out multiplayer games other than the usual and popular shooting ones. Exploring the vast diversity of forums like reddit Create art using ai and manual digital online free tools. Joining telegram groups of your interests. Listen to music from different countries or create your own. Read free comics in webtoon Travel virtually to all places on internet using YouTube or Google Street view. Read random Wikipedia articles. There is much more to do other than what I have mentioned in the digital world that I am not aware of. Some are productive, others are for entertainment, but as long as we don't get addicted, I think they are useful!
  2. No! I have never used Apple products.
  3. People your age live like monks or be a brahmachari, some without even or rarely masturbating. People your age have cancer/Aids and many deadly issues we don't even know the name of. People your age don't have limbs, eyes, and some even a heart. People your age eat only once per day, not because of fasting, but because they don't have money to buy the rest. People your age are orphans, without any kind of family, begging in streets. Whom do you want to compare with? The choice is yours.
  4. Hmm. I must confess that I have very limited knowledge about them, being a South Indian.
  5. I secretly think he has started planning to visit them at night after reading this. He he!
  6. Many people have biased opinion that it is a malicious act because of their beliefs, but I believe it's their way to simply prove the body has no value when it is dead.
  7. Sounds like a very good advice for those with spiritual curiosity! But don't forget to enjoy other experiences as well. Three months is really a good duration to have a taste of everything.
  8. Nope. It blocks the websites from appearing in Google search. But the only ideal way is to change your own mind, not to use tools.
  9. You must be ready to face the truth or the truth will be bitter or whatever the negative word you wish to put. There are always exceptions, though.
  10. If you use Chrome, you can try ublaclist extension.
  11. What about duckduckgo? It's popular and privacy oriented but not as effective as Google or Bing.
  12. I appreciate your nationalism, its true that India before the British era was very rich, and there is misconception that India is same as it was 50 years ago, but it's undeniable that there is extreme inequality in growth in the near past, the rich gets richer by 10 times, whereas the poor gets less poor by 2-3 times. This being a Spiritual forum, I believed it is necessary to point out the reality here, especially what is happening right now.
  13. For curiosity to know, especially in spirituality, it may be a correct way of approaching life. But, when it comes to desires, it's better to avoid those which you think are impossible, after logically analysing the desire and identifying whether you have the means to achieve it.
  14. There are many good things to explore in YouTube. Political content is not even 1% and the discussions are mostly mental masturbations and entertainment, and might not even affect who you vote for.
  15. I really hoped this was some kind of video games list when I saw the title!
  16. Try using Bing, I believe it has limited preview.
  17. True words. Instead of using the money to improve your lifestyle, you can use it to earn more time and find a work that fits your passion. If you are satisfied and passionate about the current job, you can focus spending money on more experiences. Most of the experiences are cheap ( good food, movies, games, online and offline social networks, books, interesting videos, local travelling, test driving new cars ( but not wanting to own them), exercise, meditation etc.) but if you have more money ( only when you have it, not when you desire it), you can spend more on experiences like world travel, buying vr devices, adventure activities etc. If you are open minded, there are limitless possibilities to experience life. The key thing is not to have fixed beliefs of what I like or don't like without experiencing it firsthand.
  18. I believe that happiness varies wildly between 0 - 10 or hangs around 5 for all in general during a longer timeframe. So, happiness can be rated as 5. But, when it comes to satisfaction, I am almost near 10 during the last 3 years, if not 5.
  19. A war between Israel and Iran rather than some way else. In simple words, a war between egos, and many innocents are going to get killed.
  20. There is a guy here who travels the whole world simply by hitchhiking and has buddies from all around the world. He travelled around 50000 kms that way!
  21. Ok, no issues. China is not an enemy of India at the same level as Pakistan being an enemy of India, but at present China keeps rising tensions at the borders of India by building infrastructures and intruding the border. It also supports Pakistan's economy and military and keeps it as a puppet. China has an ego problem that it is the most superior country in Asia, which it is and wants to be the most dominant and influential in the world, so naturally it doesn't like India becoming a potential superpower or siding with the West.
  22. Yep, it's a movie! Leo is going to get famous over there very soon.
