  1. Synchronicities can be a part of the materialistic world. The interconnectedness might be observed by science if they dig deeper and deeper. The universe seems to follow certain laws, and spiritual phenomenon also follows certain patterns. We shouldn't assume materialism is something we already know of, even science knows very less about the intricate connections within the universe. But I agree that most of the scientific people are still closed minded compared to the spiritual ones.
  2. Can you explain more in detail about the telepathy experiences? I haven't heard much about them, although I'm familiar with synchronicities.
  3. Yes, looks like many here has expanded/ dissolved their ego and awakened to infinity and bliss closing their senses, but is it possible to maintain that same state in our day to day life, while doing everyday activities? What about when you interact with others or where you have to make choices? Can you maintain that blissful state while doing so?
  4. The most hidden of all egoes for someone on the Spiritual path, the spiritual ego. The ego that believes being spiritual makes me special and intelligent, makes me a powerful god, makes me a good teacher etc. cannot become spiritual. One of the most important aspect of being spiritual is to remove the ego 'e' from believe and just be and live.
  5. Thank you! Many of your posts made me think a lot from multiple perspectives. It feels wonderful to decode what many people try to say here using complex ideas and words, and yours is one of the toughest to crack! I feel grateful as well to all forum members and the forum itself, for giving the opportunity to share our knowledge, learn new stuff, and of course, having fun !
  6. Shortcuts do lead to the blissful part, but it can have repercussions since it needs to get balanced.
  7. The bigger thoughts are reactive in nature, which means it's not necessary for them to exist if those reactive tendencies itself disappear due to activities such as meditation. It's similar to an eye seeing a black screen, you won't see the colours because they are not received in the first place. But subtle thoughts may be different, and difficult to notice even if they are present, I mostly believe your teacher referred to these thoughts, which are active all the time and still not being noticed.
  8. When you are in such high states of bliss, would you even get tired of life? True, I believe that's called acceptance and some call it enlightenment as well. But, for such a state to be called as enlightenment, you should be fluid in going back to higher states if you've gone deep into a lower state of consciousness once again. Free will, maybe?
  9. It's a perpetual cycle, if you desire to be free from suffering, you'll have suffering resulting from such a desire. But yes, you can desire to be free from suffering, a desire strong enough as such can stop your worries about suffering, and come into acceptance with that. You'll not volunteering chase suffering, but you wouldn't care much even if it occurs.
  10. You have touched the point that popped up in my mind. I assume what you are saying is to let the action be performed subconsciously and show no reaction or resistance to it. What could being such a passive observer lead to? Will the driver be an intuitive universe or a simple habitual subconscious mind performing same actions repeatedly, like the heart beat?
  11. I agree that there's the possibility for neutrality be the natural state. But while being mindful, I am focusing on the present, making my mind free of thoughts, which itself is a tremendous activity. Can such an activity be brought to such extremes that it results in extreme bliss? Or in other words, can mindfulness with senses active and actions present be a substitute for meditation where senses are closed and actions inactive, which results in a state of absolute bliss ( or atleast whatever the state of absolute is perceived to be) during meditation? Not interested myself in being that blissful all the times though, just curious whether it's a possibility.
  12. Yes, let's assume it's the default state of being. Then, it shouldn't be relative, it has to be absolute, which is extreme bliss. Can you maintain that in your everyday life, maybe after finding out what I'm doing wrong in my everyday life? Or could it be achieved only after closing all your thoughts and sensations? I agree that there are degrees, but can you maintain all the time something closer to the highest degree, even after getting out of meditation or awakening states? Im happy to be at scale 0 most of the time, but can the intensity of experience at the present get so high that a state close to ecstacy is always maintained in everyday life? And.also , can meditators stay in the state of bliss/ ecstasy closing their eyes all the time? Glad that you're able to overcome your difficult times!
  13. Good example, what I am trying to understand is, can you be a mindful observer even while reacting?
  14. Yes, you're right, almost all of us have the experience of feeling highly blissful during certain activities in our life. I would say listening to soul stirring music is a common activity that most people find to be blissful.
  15. Just like past events can lead to suffering, thinking about the future, especially in the forms of desires, which are mostly selfish in nature, can also lead to suffering. Complete awareness itself is a desire-free state, although the path to reach there is filled with desires. Suffering is not a word to be afraid of, in my opinion. Suffering can come in many magnitudes, and the lesser, the more blissful we can be. There's no need to be completely free from suffering.
  16. Great! Sleep is the best way to rest, I would never compromise on that unless your life is dependent upon it. Walking / exercise is also very important, as you are spending a lot of time in sedentary activities. That may be one of the reasons why physical yoga is suggested before going into deep meditative states.
  17. It doesn't matter whether you are a vegan, or a vegetarian or a non vegetarian, but it definitely matters how much selfish or selfless you are while being so.
  18. If everything exists, everything is balanced as well, so don't be afraid 🔱
  19. Mr.Sadhguru is correct in saying that pursuit of happiness, or in other words, desires, prevent you from being blissful. Can you be completely desireless in your everyday life and experience complete blissfulness all the time? That's my question. What about when having to choose between two options? What about having to lift your hand to pick up that food? Aren't they subtle forms of desires? Or am I missing something here?
  20. I don't think such heavy doses of bliss can be maintained, maybe someone highly equanimous can overcome such states. Let's assume you can overcome the bliss, what I am asking is whether you can be extremely mindful all the time, so that you can be in a higher conscious/ blissful state all the time. How can you be at the extreme ends of mindfulness when you have to make decisions such as choosing between a pizza or a burger? Even bliss doesn't come for free, in my opinion. It costs karma. That's why I believe you go back to ordinary states after having bursts of blissfulness.
  21. Unfortunately I don't believe in things so easily ! My belief system presently says that I don't know if it's possible.
  22. You aren't conscious enough to bring your imagination into existence, so don't worry about having ethical dilemmas on imagining. For example, while you're imagining a genocide, you are just creating simple images of it, without the complete picture, your images don't have flesh, bones, people suffering because of those bones getting broken etc, you won't be able to imagine so much pain on your own. The universe has so many laws that keep your imagination going out of control. But what you still have to worry about is letting the content you consume influence your ego and hence your everyday activities and intentions. For example, consuming a content where a person feels immense pleasure in murdering someone, if you immerse and align with such imagination, your own ego will feel the pleasure and may get attached to it slowly. A better consumption will be feeling the emotions of compassion when watching a sad movie. So don't worry about having any ethical dilemmas in consuming content, and enjoy the experiences you have been blessed with!
  23. Is there anything to experience there or simply nothing?
  24. Desire leads to suffering, but desire leads to new experiences as well.
