  1. Sorry for ruining your joke, I should have quoted some previous replies!
  2. Yep, I am a curious guy too. The statement that the universe is taking care of it is a part of my belief system derived through my experiences. What I believe is that the universe balances out the good and bad, not through a moral lens, but through pleasure and suffering caused to ourselves ( intention ) and to others (action). Courts, religions, individuals and everything that creates moral laws are part of the experience and may affect us in some way, but at the end, it all comes to what happens inside our mind. We can escape the cycle to some extent,if we become non reactive, by not creating any pleasure or suffering in our mind created because of our actions or non action. Still, the result of our actions affecting others keep us within the cycle, either providing pleasure or suffering.
  3. Believing life is a game or even life is imaginary can be the best thing that ever happened to you or the worst thing ever based on the belief system you have. If you are taking the insight positively, then it's all well and good. But one aspect of Spirituality is recognising no belief ( including those derived out of experiences) is entirely true and that includes beliefs on nature of reality as well. Labelling reality as imaginary can become a dangerous affair, especially when our mind is not eqanimous or highly reactive. Even experiencing ego dissolution doesn't magically put an end to our monkey mind. It just gives a glimpse of the removal of the veil. And the monkey mind naturally creates numerous belief systems based on the experience, that's why we can see differing explanations for similar experiences. Labeling could be done for fun, but we need to recognise the effects the labelling has in our functioning from an outside view. It could easily delude us into suffering, if we aren't careful enough. That's where meditation comes into picture, it makes our mind non reactive, so that we can have all the awe in believing life is imaginary or whatever it is and still be unaffected by its repercussions.
  4. If we imagine life is imaginary, all these thoughts can come into our mind: Life isn't real. I don't have to care about whatever I do in this world. No need to be moral, no need to be following laws, no need to worry about death since I would become God after death etc. You can do all these, but doing this will further pull us deep into the illusion by strengthening the ego.
  5. Imagine a veil covering your body. The veil exists as long as it is covering it. Relatively, It is as much real as the body is. Once you destroy the veil by burning it or removing it, you can see the body. But that doesn't make the veil imaginary. It exists as long as it isn't burnt. It's real no matter what happens.
  6. Even if we assume ego doesn't exist, nothing changes.
  7. These are great tips, especially during these social media days, but at the end, we should all strive towards not judging anyone, even after meeting certain criteria that we find to be satisfying.
  8. Especially when we think the universe is a colourful bunch of stars and galaxies.
  9. Unconditional love on an absolute level triumphs everything, because that's what God is. But, when it becomes involved with ego ( like a mother's love to a child), then the equation becomes complicated and morality plays a role. But, fortunately we don't have to do the calculations, ( unless we are curious) the universe will take care of it.
  10. Eternity of the soul is the best thing ever! But eternity of memories isn't that great though.
  11. The intention has a heavier weight than the results, so yes, goodness in heart can come back to you as happiness/joy etc. Practicing compassion, gratitude, forgiveness etc. both within the mind and outside can help that cause.
  12. Can be, I believe a meditative mind can do the same but without the special effects.
  13. I don't understand this language even a bit, but when your mind is on an opened state, you will be able to find deep meanings and connections within many songs, including those which are not intended by the author to be spiritual. It happened to me once, where I could find songs in my mother tongue with deep spiritual meanings and connect with them personally, it can be described as a period of ecstasy.
  14. He is just surprised, he never said it's more or even equally reliable compared to other sources. Even I was initially surprised when I found Al Jazeera trying or acting hard to be neutral, knowing that it originated in Asia, especially middle East.
  15. God is the one who created the concept of understanding and logic.
  16. It can actually be a gift to have such an ability, especially if you don't hate what appears as ugly in your mind with the same intensity as how you see what appears as beauty.
  17. It's difficult to be in the opposite end of the pole and still maintain a balance.
  18. That the most pleasurable things don't last long.
  19. Google news is the best one if you don't have much time or your don't believe in a single source. You can check with multiple sources easily by clicking on full coverage button.
  20. Spirituality can be touched at any age or stage, but touching psychedelics may not be a good idea.
  21. That's why I told within his bubble.
