Those who love horror movies would love sleep paralysis. I once felt like I had sleep paralysis, tried to break the shackles, finally woke up only to find myself back at the beginning. The loop continued for four to five times. -
Two more things to add to the enlightenment list: 1. An apple cutter exists more complex than my nail cutter 2. Apples need not be round @UnbornTao @Nemra @Husseinisdoingfine Enjoy your favourite apples this weekend Maybe you don't love unripe ones! Sounds yummy, some might also love the rare ones which are purple, ironically ( or unironically) it's called a black diamond apple. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Diamond_Apple#:~:text=The Black Diamond Apple (Chinese, white pulp on the inside.

Laughter is the best medicine! ( According to doctors) In my locality, mothers many times literally call their children gods (sami) -
Looks like this post exists for you

We know nothing about her, we don't even care if she will push for friendlier relationship with India or not, our state people want her to win because her maternal grandfather lived here long long ago. That's how deep family runs here 😂 https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/Tiruchirapalli/excitement-in-air-in-kamala-harris-ancestral-village-in-tamil-nadu/article68436804.ece Yes, we have lots of coconuts here, and we take full credit for the meme. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coconut_production_in_India -

You don't have to believe that you were conscious and forgot it. You just have to not believe that you weren't conscious at all. I don't know. -

If you died and no one is around to remember it, does it mean your life's meaningless? That's a blessing! You aren't dumb though, you should get dumber so that you can experience life to its fullest! -
Here's my thought process behind this question: The red one🍎 - the one that's expecting someone to reply to this post, the desire for my pleasure The green one🍏 - the one that's trying to help someone learn because of this post, the expectation to make others learn The yellow one - Having both the desires Stopping yourself from eating the forbidden fruit 🌳- trying to type all these with no ego at all - so that we don't notice the nakedness

How do you know if you had any experience if you don't remember it? -
An young being replied to Staples's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's wise to consider that memory may not be a part of consciousness. Yes, you can still be wise, you don't need wisdom teeth for that! -

Wonderful trying to describe what cannot be described. Every religion has the opportunity to become the best in the world, but most people forget the spiritual part within each, and choose to take pleasure in the egoic parts of it. -

And of course, there's the mother of all ignorance, that pleasure is good for everyone since it makes people look happy. -

Here's an example for a good thought and a bad thought for the example given: 1. A director directs a horror movie with the intention to entertain the audience by giving them doses of fear and good creativity. It might be a good intention. 2. A director directs a horror movie with zero creativity and full of violence, simply because it is cheap and easy and generates good amount of 🤑. Both these cases are just examples, and yes there are shades of grey and not white and black. Ignorance too plays a role, a director may very well know extreme violence will affect the mentality, but his desire to entertain may overcome his rationality. -

No, even if you sit and think for hundred years with great detail, you won't be able to match the intelligence with which the universe imagines the world, and hence you won't create the suffering simply by imagining. That doesn't mean your thoughts, especially with a strong intention or desire won't affect your world. They function within certain karmic rules which I have no idea about, and can make things happen within those rules. They can't create something new, they can only modify the existing universe, well within the physical laws that we observe. For eg, your thoughts can't create an entity that defies gravity. And of course, if your intention is selfless and goodhearted, the universe will support you, otherwise you may be in for a good lesson at the end, despite your thoughts becoming reality. -

Don't believe that you are creating this. A better belief would be that the universe is creating this for you. Feeling responsible is a good thing, but you don't have to feel responsible for affecting others randomly on things you don't understand, because everybody's karma can be intricately balanced at the same time. -

Synchronicities exist, but they can exist in two forms: 1. Real 2. Delusional Both of them are common -

Right, I believe the imbalance in reality produces diverse experiences, and the balance keeps the horror part of it justifiable for the ego. -
An young being replied to TheGod's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No need to fear this world, for nothing is permanent and everything is balanced. The entities are there to create the balance, and is a manifestation of the universe and not separate. In Hindu philosophy, the entity is worshipped as Shani, the god of karma. If that entity is disturbing you and causing you immense suffering, it's time to rejoice, as it's destroying your karma very fast, which in turn means good days are coming. -

Thanks for sharing your answer. Yeah, red apple sounds artificial indeed. I think it can simultaneously be a spiritual and an off topic question. Spiritual if you like to think too much because of your curiosity, and off topic maybe if you just love to live in the moment.

You don't have to be terrified, but every activity of yours will get balanced. I don't know if you should be terrified of that. Fear can be useful, you should be terrified if you commit a selfish crime, as it will prevent you further from committing the crime, and hence prevent the balancing act which many popularly call as suffering. -

The awakening experience of course, the one where you feel in union, is devoid of all experiences. I don't know if it can be termed materialistic, since it means shutting down most of your brain activity.
