  1. I’ve tripped quite a lot this year at high doses. After a few high doses I thought I was able to handle that level (big mistake, I know) and I didn’t see any side effects so I kept at it. I tripped once every 3 week. So about a month ago I had a very scary trip. I got the idea that my closed eyes visuals were real. I went into full panic mode and I tried to keep my eyes open. Eventually I managed to calm myself down so the rest of the trip was at least tolerable. Ever since that trip, when I close my eyes I feel like I’m visually tripping. It’s usually vague but I’ve noticed the more I focus on the visuals, the more vivid they seem to become. I also sometimes get a rushing sensation like a wave crashing into my face. A very common hallucination is a big eye staring right at me. My open eye vision is totally fine though weirdly. Does Anyone have similar experiences? Any recommendations to reduce these effects?
  2. Thanks for that explanation mandy, I'm still processing it. tatsumaru, I see what you're saying. I'm just wondering if my direct experience is all there is?
  3. Hey, I'm starting to get a bit freaked out by this notion of it being only me. Leo, when you're talking about teaching others and stuff, is that just bullshit? It would appear like this is a forum of people talking about stuff, but am I just imagining it all???
  4. @Leo Gura I think you’re greatly exaggerating the importance of the opening in classical. Games quickly spiral into unknown positions. The role of memory in classical is very similar to 960. This is why a strong classical player will be as good at 960.
  5. @Leo Gura It’s a common misconception that classical chess is about memorization. Unless you’re a computer, there’s no way in hell you can get good by just remembering opening lines. The only people that really benefit from opening theory are the very elite. Even then it’s almost all about skill.
