The 'problem' with these teachings is that they pick and choose what it is that the individual has a choice in and what it doesn't. Even your post suggests we don't have free will and choice but still go on to give instructions. I'm not saying you're wrong in what's being said and there's no one there actually giving the instructions, but it only shows how this is so chaotic wild and free, no teachings can come close to the spontaneity of what appears as it's all just appearing without anyone in the driver's seat. If you really take a look at what you're saying, it's filled with discrepancies. We don't control our breathing, you say, nor the eyes blinking or how the body digests food, but we have control over our behavior, responses, and how we maneuver the fact that we have no control. Check your post and responses to see how many times you instructed this no self, no control person to act. Totally makes no sense and this is the nature of what this is and why the dream tries to make sense of it all.

Return to presence.....what does that even mean. How does presence return to itself. If there's a memory of the past showing up and appearing, it's appearing timelessly. If a projection of the future is appearing, it's appearing timelessly; not now, not presently, timelessly. No beginning, no end, so how can there be a present.

Do you contemplate on the secret to sadness, the secret to suffering and despair, to loneliness, heartaches and misery. Why not go contemplate on the secret to those and try to achieve those states. I'll tell you why; they have no problems appearing, they don't need a person to give them permission to appear. Infact, seems like the default, always trying to get rid of them, always bringing out the tool kit to work on suffering, sadness, loneliness and despair, they are in abundance already. Happiness seems to be the one thing that's hard to find, hard to come by, there's a secret now to this free flowing state that needs no permission from anyone. Maybe try to find the secret to realizing that happiness is just happiness and needs no one's permission to appear and is just simply veiled from the seeking of it.

Most females don't necessarily have to find a man physically attractive to agree to go on a date with him. She might just like his personality, or he came across very charming and she just wanted to spend some time to get to know him a bit and see where it goes. Most women get physically attracted to the man she loves while a man get to love the woman he's physically attracted to. Remember that. Most men can't see past the way they see women and think women see them the same way or are attracted to the same things or get attracted the same way they see her. It's totally different. I've even heard men say they want her to lust after him the way he lusts after her or he wants her to like him the way he likes her sexually. Lust is usually spontaneous and one doesn't really learn to lust after a person if that wasn't there to begin with but a woman can surely grow to want a man sexually even if that chemistry wasn't there in the beginning. For a man, it's usually right there in the beginning where he's sexually attracted and don't normally grow to get attracted; for him, it's either he is or he isn't. This is a part of the issue with some men. They get reserved if they think they're not so physically attractive and feel insecure in that way and very rarely come on to women because of this. Not come on strongly, but put themselves out there and open up to possibilities. This is why you'll see ugly or short or even sometimes broke men getting all the women because of their personalities and the energy they exude. They couldn't care less about how they're coming across as long as they are having fun and being light-hearted about the whole dating game. Men are too into their heads about all this stuff and watch and read too much pill stuff and it comes off as structured and not organic and women can pick up on these things; and not just that, they taint the whole thing with belief structures they adapt just from gearing other people's stories instead of going out in the field themselves and exploring with an open mind. Why social circles work so effectively is because people's personalities come to light then; and for women, that's what brings her to a man more than his looks. People there are usually more light-hearted and free and more open to be themselves and that in of itself can be an attractor factor for women. It's harder for women to agree to go out with a total stranger from cold-approach as women's number one concern is their safety and it's a lot of mental work to try and vet a guy that way upfront and why you hear about a lot of women dating guys they already know somewhat or through mutual friends.
