Everything is made up, including enlightenment. If you knew what reality is, you would recognize this to be the case. Enlightenment is as real as a piece of chocolate cake. The process that goes into making a piece of chocolate cake is probably more complicated than the process to becoming enlightened. Everybody is already enlightened. Don't care what anybody says. You're no more special than anybody in this department. Some people just know more than some and then proceed to market that knowledge. Save your rebuttals for the birds, please.

Why is this even a topic for discussion. When you're constipated and suffering on the toilet because your ass hurts, do we make posts about that. Still suffering and pain. When we have to stand in line forever for whatever and our feet hurt like hell, do we make posts about that. Geesh, we suffer constantly about mundane shit and don't think twice to allow those times to pass through, but we're up in here everyday talking 'bout suffering. Ever notice nobody really talk about what they're suffering about, only that they're suffering. It's like it's hip to suffer these days. Nobody suffers all the time, but nobody says anything about the things that make them happy. This suffering shit is getting quite monotonous. But we're still up on a forum everyday talking shit.

Ok. We can also say, one is less delusional when that is recognized to be the case. The closer one is to the realization of what is the case the less problems they run into and they get solved more efficiently because now they're realizing how the problem was borne to begin with and now better equipped to come at it with a different mindset. There are always two polarities at play.

Yep. The ignoring of the post is what I call proof.

I'm not talking about aging and losing my memory or anything like that. I remember even in my late teens early twenties, me trying to figure out if this particular memory I had actually happened. That's what I'm referring to. It would be like a few years later and I'll be reminiscing but it just seemed like a memory that was all made up and never took place because I just can't remember how it ended or i cannot fill in the pieces.

A while back I was going to actually make a post about this, but I decided against it. Wasn't sure how to phrase it to be understandable and I wasn't even sure myself. I might have even posted it and deleted it right away not sure; been about 6mths or longer. I can relate to what you're saying. Quite a few experiences I'm not sure if they happened or not. Not something that I'm sure definitely happened and can't remember how it went; i actually remember how it went about 80% of it but something isn't quite there as in me being sure that it actually happened. There's not even anyone I can ask about it because I was either alone or in one instant, the person has passed away. It's hard to explain, like you said, and it's like did that shit happened or not. A few circumstances are like that for me both childhood and adulthood.

When people follow what others say about what is socially correct or not, they are still deciding for themselves who to follow. The content is irrelevant; they are still deciding who to follow. No matter how you try, one can only be their own authority, even when giving up their own authority, They are still choosing indirectly by who and what they choose to follow.

What you're looking for is a dissolution of the meanings you ascribe to what's happening. No meaning, no suffering. You're suffering the meanings you give to the experience not the experience itself

It's not about helping it. It is it. It's It's function. There's no you that cannot conceptualize. That's why at birth it's called conception.

That guru is just as made up as you. That guru is a thought at the moment and will be telling you things your subconscious will accept as true or false depending on its programming. The world is an illusion. There's no enlightenment that's why they seek in a cave for decades. Looking for something illusory. There's not even non-enlightenment. There's just nothing concrete or stable period. It's all man-made by the senses that aren't even telling us the true nature of Reality. The eyes don't even see anything they are only information machines. Telling the subconscious how to create your made-up world that you then perceive through the mind and then think it's real. How can they find something that's not even there. Relative or not.

All these explanations and thoughts and ideas and concepts are coming from the same mind that wants to become enlightened and blissful. That's what it does, explains itself away. It can't help it. RECOGNIZE THAT. Next year this time look out for these same conversations. They like to appear from time to time.

He is not interested in watching the videos. He's not interested in answers, he's interested in keeping the mind's activity going and going and going. What is it that will know it's enlightened. What is it that will know it's in bliss, Stop being deluded like the rest of minds. It's the mind that wants to become enlightened and be in a state of bliss. What's aware of all this is already enlightened and blissful if you want to use those terms for it. Nothing wrong with that. It is still being known. Knowledge is separation. One cannot know themselves one can only be themselves. (which reminds me, I should change my signature). On the other side of that knowing is something that knows. In that knowing there are no words or images. Words and images are known. They come and go. You are aware of those coming and going. You cannot escape yourself. The person that you think you are, is known. If you become in a state of bliss, that will be known. Known by what/who, YOU. Awareness. Sounds goo goo ga ga, right. Let me know when you hear someone on this forum says they're enlightened. Let me know when someone on the forum says they're in a state of permanent bliss and I'll show you someone who thinks they're enlightened and blissful, someone who has witnessed a person become enlightened and blissful. Who or what is prior to witnessing that. Let me know too.

I'm speaking on an existential level. What seems more balanced is irrelevant to what is. Reality appears physical but it's not. You are seeing the contents of your mind. This is not about not recognizing the physical or neglecting the physical, it's that I'm simply saying Reality is mental. The Universe is a mind and what you see is mind activity. Now, sure it appears real and physical and I don't go around saying yadi dee, yadi da, there's nothing here but mind, I'm just saying what it actually is.
