    Leo was not wrong...
    You asked for it
You need to be pumping out more free content (of value to your target audience), to establish connection and credibility with potential buyers.
Free content can be in the form of email content, e-books, blog posts, social media uploads, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc.
Even posting free advice on health forums such as the one on here can be considered free content (although don't make this your main form of it!)
    Endless options.
^This IS your eyeball-catcher/marketing. People flock to free content because they are selfish and lazy. But It's a win-win, because you can use that principle to build an audience of potential future buyers (you'll have to convert them from freeloaders to buyers later).
This definitely takes a degree of patience and creativity, but it's better than having no eyeballs and no audience and no buyers.
For both the free AND paid content, get clear about what kind of person you are targeting, and ask yourself "What specifically can I provide for them?"
If you're already currently posting free content, ask yourself: is the shit that I'm posting actually delivering a result for my target audience? And even if it is, have I made the link between the content and the result EXPLICIT? For example, if you're trying to introduce a new exercise or a new food, am I telling my audience the precise benefit?
Right now when I go to your website, all I see is a bunch of text and a massive paywall with no reason to pull out my wallet (granted, I may not be your target audience, but even if I was, I bet I'd react the same way).
When I click on the coaching tab, you don't give me a concrete promise, not even once. You basically say "I will give you holistic coaching."
What?? TF does that even mean? How will my life actually change? I see there's more words further down like "custom meal plan metabolic planning" - whatever the hell that means. I didn't even bother to read.
You say: "I will help you with this process so that you can optimize your eating habits to support your fitness goals while meeting your body's nutritional requirements." <<<MEANINGLESS. That's not a specific, concrete result. That's the most generic claim possible.
You MUST declare a result, such as: "Together we will maximize your fitness and nutrition with a custom plan to help you look and feel better than you ever have before so that you can be confident in your body with clarity of mind"
But honestly, even this is still far too broad/generic. Ideally you are ultra-specific, like: "Together we will maximize your diet with a custom plan to ensure that your body is fueled with the best possible nutrients while eliminating all toxic chemicals from your daily meals. With your commitment, we will x10 your thinking power, mindfulness, and overall happiness."
And EVEN THIS is maybe still too generic! You can ALWAYS be more and more concrete in your sales pitch. Maybe a part of you thinks "but I want my client to define their own goals! Aren't I excluding some people by not listening to everyone's goals equally?"
Eben Pagen said it best: Let's say you had a headache and you were walking down the aisle looking for a solution. You find two possible candidates: One is a big jug that says "CURE-ALL MEDICINE" on it, the other is a smaller bottle that says, "Headache relief - erase pain for 48 hours," which bottle do you trust more? Which bottle gets you to open up your wallet and pay?
That's right, the "smaller," more "narrowly" marketed product which ONLY targets headaches is the one that actually gets bought - because it addresses your problem better than the generic "catch-all" medicine!
It's the difference between casting a huge net with giant holes and tears in it vs casting a small but highly refined and well-made net.
You must apply this principle to your own marketing.
Also, play around with font sizes and bolding and stuff. Walls of text are really difficult to read. I bet you're reading this and you're already exhausted yourself lol, so just imagine what it's like for a potential customer. Put important things in BOLD so that they jump out at you!

I see these kinds of statements wayyy too much and they are part of the problem, not the solution. Anytime the topic comes up in the public sphere now it seems this is all people want to say. While it may be technically right that large corporations need to desperately change their practices, through social pressure and regulation from the government - It will take a cultural shift that needs to be spring boarded by individuals that believe change is even possible, which starts at the smallest level of personal choices (what you buy, what you use, etc.)
I think a lot of people just buy into and repeat the narrative because it provides an unconscious gratification that they are factually right (stage orange), and it also conveniently lets them off the hook from making any changes THEMSELVES, by divulging responsibility to government, businesses, and other big polluters............
Not to forget to mention that those colossal collectives are simply made up of people, who are ran by people, and depend on people for their revenue. If enough people stopped purchasing their products they would collapse, period. There is some kind of fallacy or spell that plagues the conversation, that they are somehow "disconnected" from society and can't be influenced by anything other than democracy (which sucks, is undependable, slow, and corrupted by capitalism btw). Nothing could be further from the truth.
I'd argue if we are going to have ANY chance it'll be from grass roots activism pushing cultural change, and unfortunately (but probably necessarily) eco-terrorism/violent revolution. From the "little guy" realizing exactly how much power they have. We can't get there though if people keep acting dispelling of hope and pretending that it's only going to be "someone else" who is going to save us, or some magic technology we're going to pull out of our ass at the last moment, even though it's technology that got us into this mess.....
I'm just a little sick of people bitching and moaning that there is nothing we can do, or that it's pointless. You have to ask what right do you have to complain if YOU aren't doing anything or giving an effort? The only way real change will be made in the world, large or small, is by leading by example and being a source of inspiration to others. Nobody is going to realize they have any power by listening to a hypocrite. Not targeting you specifically btw @Philipp idk you or what your lifestyle is like, but rather reacting to the context of your statement in the cultural zeitgeist.
And in the end if everything goes to shit and our efforts didn't change the big picture?
Well that's too bad, but at least your corner and community of the Earth is a little greener.

Visiting The Venus Project. Drop Any Questions
    It is not Yellow.
It gets many fundamentals wrong. Including fantasies of re-education of people. People don't work that way. Yellow understands this. Just using technology or basic planning does not make it Yellow. Plenty of Orange/Green does it in innovative ways.
I would put it as Orange/Green. With more Orange integration needed. For eg. the issue of outside resource dependency still requires people there to face the same survival issues as the outside. Whether it is labeled such or not is irrelevant.

  4. My neurotic approach when reading books fucks me up
My neurotic approach when reading books fucks me up
I think you're answering your own question since you speak of the things you struggle.  Like when you say you get ocd about analyzing each new understanding.
So now that you know the thing you don't want to do, all you have to do is... (I'm gunna let you finish the end of this sentence ).
For me, I used to try and take meticulous notes of all the books I read.  It wasn't sustainable.  Even if I reread and took notes etc., I'd still be left not remembering everything.  So now, I just highlight and speed-read.  If something really sticks out to me or peaks my interest I might contemplate it for a few minutes.  So much more enjoyable, the highlighting enables you to quickly look at all the important bits if you want to come later, and you feel much more productive and accomplished since you're reading lots.
Also consider that, even if you just speed-read through, your mind might be soaking up that info.  At least in a general sense (maybe not the specifics), enabling you to get an overall sense of what the book is trying to communicate.  You can then always go back and find specifics later as you need them.  Say you read a book on relationships, then forget about it for a few months.  Then, maybe a year later, you get into a relationship and want some relationship advice.  You then see that book on the bookshelf and remember "Oh!  From what I remember, that book had some good advice.  I'm gunna go and scan through what I highlighted to see what it said specifically."  It's sort of a Use-it-as-you-need-it way of reading.
Find the right balance for you between speed reading and slow reading.  If you find a book really relevant and interesting, you may naturally just want to read it more slowly, trying to understand all the things said.  On the other end of the spectrum, you may start reading a book and, a few chapters in, realize "I don't like this book.  It's boring and doesn't interest me.".  So you put it down and start a new one.
One way I seem to use in choosing a new book (this way sort of developed organically, which is what I recommend to people; feel things out, trial and error, and just do what feels and works best for you) is that I start reading several books at once, and then eventually I'll sort of feel out which one most interests me and is best for me to read.  Then I'll stick with that one and finish it.
As for note taking, you can always just try what I said earlier in just highlighting the important bits (you can also put different marks next to parts you find most important, semi-important, practical pieces of advice and to-dos, or whatever schema you want).  Then when you finish a chapter or even the whole book, scan through it and try to condense it in your notes to its most essential points.  Once you've done that you can also further condenses those points into a short paragraph so it's in a more sentence-story format.
Finally, consider reading multiple books at a time.  Sometimes I've enjoyed having types of books going at once.  Like a book that's more technical and difficult to read, another one that's maybe in a more story-form or that's philosophical or spiritual (I usually like to read these ones before bed, and I usually read them a lot slower; reading like a sentence or a paragraph and then putting the book down and contemplating it for a long while).  Nighttime vs. daytime reading.
But again, do what works for you.  Feel it out.
Ask yourself "How sustainable is my method of reading right now?", "Do I want to continue doing it this way?", "How can I make this less of a chore and more enjoyable?".

  5. Mind Illuminated - meditation book, have you tried it's techniques?
Mind Illuminated - meditation book, have you tried it's techniques?
    Hey guys,
I just bought Mind Illuminated, for those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a book that teaches you meditation.
I'm just curious if any one of you has read it, found it useful, and practiced the instructions it gives on meditation?
I also think that it over-complicates it, but I want to hear your thoughts about it.
Maybe just mastering Mindfulness with Labeling, as Leo teaches it, is sufficient and there is no need to overcomplicate meditation?

  6. How to be socially Free?
    How to be socially Free?
Social confidence is something I have struggled with for years. I have given up several times, but over the past month I've finally decided I need to really overcome this. I can see how this holds me back in my career, friendships, and romantic relationships.
Just recently, I've identified some really important insights on what is holding me back on the journey to social confidence. Firstly, I've noticed that I am trying to control and manipulate people's reactions. Doing this requires our minds to "figure out" the perfect thing to say which will create a positive response from the other person. For example, before I say something to my boss, I want to know FOR SURE that he/she is going to respond to me in a positive manner. If my boss reacts negatively, then we automatically think we did something wrong and we are not worthy just as we are. Much of our social anxiety results from absolutely needing positive feedback all of the time, in every situation. For as long as we try to get people to say something we want, we will be stuck. We must give the other individual complete autonomy and freedom to react as they choose. And, no matter how they react (positively or negatively), we must realize our self-worth is not changed in any way whatsoever.
Lastly, I found that I've been gauging my progress of overcoming social anxiety by how I am feeling emotionally prior to, during, and after social situations. If I feel nervous before, during, or after a situation, well, that must mean I'm not making any progress towards overcoming social fear. However, if we look deeply into emotions, we can see that this is the body's conditioned response to a situation that may feel threatening. For years we have trained ourselves to avoid situations that may trigger a "negative" emotion. Instead, we should measure our progress on doing what scares us despite the emotions involved. We must fully feel the emotion of fear, anxiety, etc. You can even go so far as to loving the feeling of fear because you know on a deep level this is helping you. I know this is easier said than done, but if we judge fear and anxiety as negative and something we should avoid entirely, then we don't have a chance to improve our social lives. After all, what's so bad about fear, anxiety, etc.? Is there any emotion out there that's really "bad?" An emotion may be an intense, energetic feeling in the body, but what's so wrong with that?

  7. How can i use my time more effectively
How can i use my time more effectively
@Ayham That's very good for you to start your actualization journey from this young age. Welcome to the forum. You seem very passionate so that's really good, I encourage you for that ??
My advice for you is to start the following habits (btw I practice them too) :
Morning/evening scientific prayer ( it'll ground you and charge you with positivity)  Journaling (very important habit that will literally transform your life ; you can start with your motivations in life, your dreams, your life principles , etc)  Cleaning up your diet, eating healthy and reducing sugar intake ( you wouldn't imagine the level of your energy when you'll build this habit)  Contemplation (it'll deepen your understanding of the world and of yourself so much)  Reflecting on your life ; look at your life from different angles and think about every experience you passed through and what it added to you. In this way you'll learn to embrace your life and your being.  Eliminate watching TV as much as you can  Build the concentration habit (it'll increase your concentration level and help you to open your third eye) ( I used to practice this habit but not any more honestly)  Research ; don't only focus on watching Leo's videos to take information from them, read from different sources and listen to many people with many points of views to have a bigger picture of what you're learning. Read about psychology, history, philosophy and self-help marterial. And write your notes so that you can remember them later on.  And along with those habits you can start practicing yoga (very powerful habit)
Keep in mind that building habit is very difficult and it needs a lot of effort, patience and persistence. Be kind to yourself and don't be too harsh on yourself. The most important component to start actualizing is self-love, so try to cultivate more of it as you move along the journey.
You can't build so many habits at one time. Try to add one or two habits every month, and have a record of how much you're improving in practicing every habit. Best of luck ?

  8. How To: Natural Drug/Opioid, Pleasure Production Without Substance Use EXPLAINED
How To: Natural Drug/Opioid, Pleasure Production Without Substance Use EXPLAINED
Hi everyone! Recently, a new and deeper form of understanding and practice has occured in my life. I just want to share what is happening with all of you in the hope that it can motivate you for what is possible.
As someone who has some grasp of how the mind can construct pleasure or pain intentionally through deep equanimity and insight recognition, I didn't expect one could literally suffuse the ENTIRE body (toes- legs-back-arms-head) with actual morphine levels of pleasure and pain killer effect one would get in hospitals for a panic attack. And to able to this on demand, with intentional control. In a few seconds.
This is beyond curing depression. After some latest neuroscience readings on dopaminergic circuits in the brain and how it changes with practice and time, it matches perfectly with my direct experience.
So here is what happened. I'll also tell you how it might come to be at this phase in my life:
1- The joy and pleasure I was experiencing in the sides of my head for years now has jumped and spread towards both of my legs one day as I was half meditation/ half sleeping. I'll tell you soon my theory on why it arise all of a sudden.
2- Now, I can experience drug levels of pleasure in 2 aspects of my being almost instantly at the same time: Head and entirety of my legs. The quality of pleasure I experience on my legs is much more sophisticated and has a higher ceiling of hedonism compared to what I was experiencing with my head area. I assume some different brain circuitry has kicked in to produce this pleasure.
3- Unfortunately, this requires a deeper form of mindfulness and stronger detection skills both to produce the pleasure and to maintain it. I can currently do it comfortable laying down but it is unstable. It is overall very challenging to do in daily life. But I feel like I can do it.
The effect it provides can literally erase depression out of this entire planet. I still am shocked how the brain can produce so much pleasure in a few seconds going from 'neutral-no pleasure- dissatisfaction' to 'No-pain, SIGNIFICANT pleasure suffused in every inch of your being- satisfaction'
4- Some days passed. I've practice every day. And all of a sudden, the pleasure has spread to my chest, back and arms as well. Now the morphine levels of pleasure is suffused in the entire body top to bottom. This facilitates much more tranquility and equanimity.
5- Unfortunately, this requires even deeper form of mindfulness and stronger detection skills both to produce the pleasure and to maintain it. I thought:
'This is silly now. There is no way I can maintain this in daily life while walking, talking to people, playing combat heavy action games, watching movies etc. Because if so, this will change my life and I'll have this natural opioid production I can develop at will for the rest of my life'.
6- A day later, I've practice an hour laying down to stabilize this. I had to do some leg stretches while laying down to spread enough awareness and stabilize the pleasure. When it was done, I took a walk and I can maintain it. I can do it. Talked with people, it is there. As long as my mindfulness stays strong, I can maintain it until I waver in introspective awareness.
It is a trainable skill. It requires more care and awareness to maintain but it is significantly more rewarding and healing as well. So it is a no brainer trade off.
7- Now, I've realized that even this whole body drug can be established as a baseline. Now, this is one of the aspects I'll be working on daily going forward with insight practices.
    ----
How & Why This Mıght Have Occured:
Recently, I've been investigating how pain arises on the nervous system. How it is a mental construct as we experience normally with a lot of suffering. I've been watching 'House MD' and in there, House has this leg pain condition he suffers from due to faulty diagnosis (muscle death) and tries to reduce the pain with popping countless 'Vicodin' pills every day.
I've been fairly focused on my legs these past few weeks and months due to his battle with this pain. I was wondering how his pain is arising and why the brain can't construct pleasurable sensations if he was perfectly healthy and didn't experience this muscle death.
What is playing a role in how to interpret and produce sensations in the body? What is our filter? Are we really as powerless as we assume we are?
I was focusing on these questions and investigating my conscious experience for a long time now.
And all of a sudden, a lot of pleasure spreads to my legs.
    ...That can't be a coincidence.
Unconscious parts of my mind must have been churning this issue without me realizing and have arrived at a conclusion independent of me. I assume this was their rationale:
'Yes! We are constructing both pain and pleasure for the survival purposes. In order for the 'self' to take an action. We can actually pump you with morphine and pleasure on the legs as well. But pain and dissatisfacion is there to help you take action so we don't do that on default.
Hmm. Providing negative stimulus puts us in a bad mood. And depression spirals one further into passivity, pessimism. That would also reduce one's survival chances. I guess it is too crude of a way to force someone to action. It appears it is back firing on us.
Hmm. So one can act and experience life even more effectively and accurately if craving is reduced, satisfaction is increased and pleasure aids our perceptions and introspective awareness. It is a tool you can use, huh?
It makes sense. When you intend for some pleasure tomorrow morning, we'll pump your legs with drug levels of pleasure. Use it to go forward with it. Adios!'
Thanks, my mind. I knew you always had the potential for greatness. I'll practice and go forward with this realization
If you guys have any commentary or want to share your experiences, let me know below.

  9. On the limits of science.
    On the limits of science.
This video showcases the following limitations of a scientist trying to explain religion as a biology in a society:

Notice how his worldview that is materialistic and scientific explains and implies that most of the leaders of religion have milder forms of schizophrenia, which fails to see how that is because those religions are at the development stage they are at, not due to the genetic traits expressed in those groups, in fact he conflates elements of stage purple, Shamans, to being applicable to elements of stage blue priests and is not aware of how he constructs this mistake. He is not aware that he is interpreting the information from a mostly stage orange to tiny elements of stage yellow mind, and the orange mind is, based on the cognitive, moral development and life experiences so far, unable to see that stage blue, red and purple's development is necessary, especially in regards to the creativity and evolution of states of consciousness through collective development of those stages. Keep in mind, Dr. Robert Sapolsky is an accomplished intellectual, yet this is not enough for realizing self bias and how your world view and developmental stage distorts information and colours how you interpret reality, including interpreting other cultures and groups of different stages.
Even if, suppose I am being generous, and say actually Robert Sapolsky is 50% yellow, 10% green and 20% orange, even if the majority of his psyche is more in yellow, which is self aware and construct aware that the tier 1 existence is necessary, that still is not enough to help him realize the mystical elements that exists behind each religion and each spiritual tribe so far in humanity, which is greatly realized at stage turquoise, because the key development needed for this is linked with meta cognition, and with self reflection, and that is states of consciousness and consciousness development. If your development of consciousness is not high enough, it will struggle to get a grip with how mysticism is linked with religion and tribes, which is one of many pointers to deep truths like No self, true self, infinity, oneness, and will struggle as to why there are so many different versions to God in every religion or spirit tribe.
Feel free to share your thoughts, and after watching the video, share what you think and what came up. Interestingly this topic on the biology of religion, he didn't want to post on the official Stanford playlist as it might get backlash. Yes, backlash from stage blue fundamentalists getting triggered, but also notice this, too, he is not aware of how the fear he feels is a projection of a future his mind created, to justify not sharing the video. Ta-da!

  10. ISKCON Hare krishna Cult. And your views on it.
ISKCON Hare krishna Cult. And your views on it.
Personally, I think there are better religious organizations to be a part of as an American. But I understand the attraction. Everyone is dressed simply and singing mantras and hanging out with like minded people.
Just let them be. Clearly, people are needing that kind of energy and hierarchy.

  11. The Law of One on Meditation
The Law of One on Meditation
"As you look out into what you call outer space, know that within you is the true reality of which outer space is only a picture. Your consciousness, my friends, is an incredible and infinite geography, peopled with an infinity of creatures equipped with the collective wisdom of eons of experience; for, my friends, within some part of your being, some deep and, for the most part, hidden part of your being you have all knowledge, all power, all compassion. It is as they were in files in a room to which you have lost the key.

Do you wish, then, to explore outer space to repair the great damage of your society, or do you indeed think of it as hopeless? Take these attitudes away from the world, my friends, and turn them in to yourself, for you yourself are the great object on which to practice your own wisdom, on which to develop your own understanding. If you can solve those slums which exist within the topography of your consciousness, the slums in your cities will begin to take care of themselves.

You say, “What can one person do?” We say to you: one person can work on one person, but that one person, my friends, is a hologram of all that there is. Your consciousness is all consciousness. Work on it, and you work on your race, your planet—the vibration that speaks for Earth.

We offer you our love and our serenity and encourage you to seek those qualities in meditation. When you are upset, do not blame it upon little things which have occurred in the outer world: blame it on the lack of meditation. When you see your fellow man in a hostile manner, don’t blame it on his actions but on a lack of meditation. Your environment does not have to have any power over you, for all that there is is within you. The environment is only a shadow compared to the power of love within yourself. Meditation can unlock that power."

I follow @the_law_of_one on instagram and this passage came up. Thought it was quite powerful.

If you feel like you aren't getting results with meditation, you probably aren't meditating enough, probably haven't found a good teacher, probably not going on enough retreats, and probably not practicing in the background as you live life. There is a VAST possibility within the natural, sober state, no psychedelics needed. Psychedelics only amplify what is latently possibly within consciousness already. No amount of Neo Advaita arm chair non-duality will change the amount of inner peace, freedom from suffering, and intrinsic, durable, palpable happiness you do or don't feel. Sorry to get preachy.

It's also paramount to realize that when we do this work on ourselves, when we purify our minds and grow in our level of consciousness, the work is not only for our benefit, but for the benefit of all sentient beings. We are all one. Your mind, your being is reflected back into and out of the world, literally. Very rarely do I interact with even serious meditators who understand the collective significance of this work, never mind those who don't meditate seriously.
Keep up your daily practice, do yearly retreats, do micro hits, practice in the background!
Thank you for your work, thank you for your practice.
    Namaste.

  14. Principles vs. Construction
    Principles vs. Construction
@Husseinisdoingfine Life -- the relative domain of survival -- has certain rules and principles to it. When you ignore those principles your life goes to shit.
Again, be careful conflating absolute and relative domains.
Being a virtuous person is not about playing some moral game. It simply means being conscious, truthful, loving, and living up to your own values. If you want to call that a game, go ahead, but see how your life works without it. As long as you're alive you gotta live in some way. You gotta play in some way. What way will you play? If you think it makes no difference, well, you're fooling yourself. You ain't developed enough for it to make no difference to you.
The bottom line: get clear about what kind of life you want and then create it.
Or don't and suffer in misery. Up to you. Doesn't really matter to me if you are miserable. But it probably matters to you.
Construction is not a bad thing. We are not against construction here, we are merely against unconscious construction. Our work involves becoming conscious of what we are constructing and doing that construction well.

  15. Examples of Masculine Compassion mega-thread:
    Examples of Masculine Compassion mega-thread:
Masculine compassion as opposed to feminine compassion can be fierce, bold, direct, uncompromising. It looks for what is needed as opposed to being loving and kind; something you would see with feminine compassion.
For example: A man is dying and is in a hospital bed and everyone around that person is telling him that everything is going to be alright and that he will recover just to comfort him and make him feel better, whilst actually the Truth of the situation is being denied from him, and the truth is that he is dying, and everybody is too afraid to tell him that.
If you allow and even support someone like that to stay in a state of denial you will greatly complicate and hinder the death process, making the whole ordeal for that person far more difficult than it needs to be if you just were to get the person to acknowledge and accept the fact hat he is dying. Feminine compassion on the other hand will just try to comfort and caress  the other and try to make them feel good. But you can see that such behaviour will be inadequate and even counterproductive if that person is still in a state of denial and you are not guiding that person to come to face that fact. Masculine compassion on the other hand will simply point it out: "You're dying. Come to terms with it. Here's what you can do to accept and embrace the dying process, making it something wholesome instead of terrifying". THAT is masculine compassion.
Another example of masculine compassion might be that when you're at a lecture or is giving a presentation and someone is speaking but this person is speaking rather quietly, that then you will be the one to make a comment and tell this person in front of the entire audience if that person can speak up a little bit, so that not only you can hear what this person is saying, but that also the rest of the audience can hear what is being said. You take into the consideration the need of the entire audience and therefore you consider it to be worth to put the person who is speaking on the spot and tell them what the situation requires so that the rest of the audience can benefit for this lecture that they otherwise may not have been able to hear which they have after all sacrificed time and energy for in order to be in that room.
Masculine compassion also recognizes and acknowledges the needs and vulnerabilities and others, and therefore it would be most ideal if the speaker could be informed without putting this speaker on the spot for speaking too quietly in front of the entire audience, for example if you were to remind the speaker before he/she went on the stage to remind themselves of speaking loudly enough, but usually that's not really possible so it often has to be done in front of the entire audience as there is no other option, even though that's awkward and uncomfortable for the speaker.
Another example of masculine compassion might be to defend your girlfriend from a bunch of thugs who are out to sexually assault her by punching them, risking to lose the fight and risk being badly injured, instead of turning and running away in cowardice from the situation.
A good example of masculine compassion, or the divine masculine for that matter, would be Osho. I love that guy because he is so uncompromisingly and unapologetically direct and straightforward, sometimes to the point of being provocative, whilst at the same time you can see that he is really trying to help the other person and trying to give that person not necessarily what they want to hear, but what they need or what he thinks would help them. I would recommend to take a look at Q&A session with him as opposed to his regular talks to see what you would call masculine compassion, otherwise it's a bit less apparent. Also, with masculine compassion in general but certainly with Osho in particular, you will have to look a little bit behind the surface to see the purity of his intention.
From the greater perspective there is no 'Masculine' or 'Feminine' compassion, actually. There's simply Compassion, taking masculine or feminine energetical expressions.

  16. Life directions within actualized’s thinking
    Life directions within actualized’s thinking
A question occurred to me: if you look at a lot of highly developed people’s life work, you find a lot of them are not conventionally succesful. I have friends who are spiritual counsellors, paramedics, artists, carers for the elderly, whom I would characterise as advanced, but none of them make a salary above $60k. Yet they are doing what makes them fulfilled, jobs which touch on a life purpose and which leave them room for spiritual growth.
So it makes me wonder about Actualized’s focus on living “an extraordinary life”. I wonder about the definition of success that is common to people here. This is something that also varies a lot with one’s Spiral Dynamics stage, a theory that people seem to attach a lot of importance to on here. I can imagine a stage Turquoise janitor, but I have trouble with a stage Turquoise CEO of a major company.
If I look at Leo’s video content — I’ve read the video summaries thread but haven’t watched many of the video’s — I get a certain vibe that a lot of material is about achievement, being extraordinary, mastery. This doesn’t seem to be consistent with the more recent focus on spirituality and higher stages in Spiral Dynamics.
I wonder what you all think about this.

  17. My Insights After 10 Awakenings: Awaken Now!
My Insights After 10 Awakenings: Awaken Now!
Hope this post helps you on your journey. These insights and learnings have been gained through a lot of sweat and tears.

Part I: What am I existentially?
Close your eyes. Imagine having no vision at all. Not even the ability to perceive darkness. Just complete loss of vision. Yet you remain. Cover your ears. Imagine having no hearing at all. Not even the ability to perceive silence. Yet you remain. Now imagine having no body at all. Yet you remain.
What you are, metaphysically, is a complete void. A zero. Infinite. You see, nothingness is uncreated, it is required.
Imagine nothing, since it is nothing, it needed no creator. It always was. Nothing is equal to zero, which equals infinite positive numbers paired with infinite negative numbers and infinite combinations. A system of balanced energy that always equals to zero. This is called frequency. All color, sound, touch is nothing but frequency, number.
Nothingness is infinite in all degrees. Everything is mind.
You may also replace mind with spirit.

    Part II: The Universe
Complete fantasy. There is no physical, external universe with "space" in which you move.
The true universe is the present moment you are experiencing. It is a mindspace, not a physical box full of matter.

    Part III: Time
Time is actually running "backwards" but we perceive it inversely.
Watch the video below. The "matter" or "objects" seem to control the human, not the other way around. The matter or objects you see are just refractions of your infinite mind.
    PAST = FUTURE
    FUTURE = PAST
It also renders gravity useless. Another invention.

    Part IV: What is reality?
Reality is a VR experience created with infinite intelligence by nothingness itself, so that it could experience itself from a multiplicity of viewpoints for eternity.
You see, reality is a possibility pool. Basically everything, every possibility has already happened outside of time and space.
That means this very moment you are "living" has happened an infinite number of times, and will continue to happen as it is infinite.
    THIS IS A REPLAY.
As you navigate your "life" and make choices, you are forking your POV, recalling these moments that have already happened outside of time and space, and they materialize as reality for you.
The "universe" is rendered as needed by the POV. Much like in a dream.

    Part V: Other People
This is going to be controversial, but I can assure you it is true. This right now, this instance of consciousness that is reading these words is the only POV in existence. This present moment is all there is.
Imagine that you record yourself for a full day playing a bunch of characters. You do 30 impressions and you record them on video.
You then decide to wipe your memories of making the videos, and decide to watch one movie each day for 30 days, yet you don't know that it was you playing those characters.
All other people are unreal, because again, *everything* happened in eternity. Your life is the infinite forking of possibilities in this pool.
In this case, your life is one of these movies, and once it's over, there is another movie to play.
You and I are not conscious at the same time, it's an illusion.
That means that this field that is conscious of these words, is the same field that held Jesus' life, Buddha's life, etc.
You are walking in some big shoes.
It is literally the same consciousness.

    Part VI: Your Senses
You believe that you have a brain that renders colors, sound and touch to get you your "reality", but in true reality you are hallucinating everything around you.  Your imagination is so powerful that it is indistinguishable from "reality".

    Part VII: Magic
I can personally attest to the fact that magic is real. I have had a NDE + multiple awakenings. Magic is a feature of nothingness as there is nothing to oppose nothingness.

    Part VI: Death
Doesn't exist. Death has always been a first-person experience you are having of others "dying", but no one has died ever, because no one has lived, ever. Again, it's an illusion.
When you "die", you are reborn as another POV.

  18. Spiral Dynamics: Understanding The Bigger Picture
Spiral Dynamics: Understanding The Bigger Picture
Last night I had some interesting thoughts about the spiral dynamics model. This is my attempt to understanding the bigger picture of this model. I'm still learning so bare with me.
Leo talked about how each stage stacks on top of the other. Then something about the model hit me, and it helped me to gain a deeper understanding of it.
Every stage is an elevation of the previous two stages. It's hard for me to articulate it clearly so it might not make sense.
    For instance:
Beige - The foundation of human survival
Purple - Tribal. Awareness increases and people start to become aware of their thoughts and surroundings. Everything is magical.
Red - An elevation of Beige. People become very egocentric and barbaric. Survival isn't about the elements of nature anymore. Survival is about conquering and dominating other tribes and communities.
Blue - An elevation of Purple. There is structure, authority, and rigid hierarchies. Magical thinking has been tempered down with logic and rationality, but there is still an element of faith, magic and belief in higher powers.
Orange - An elevation of Red. People are still driven by ego, but now it is about separation from rigid hierarchies. It's more about learning to become independent and self-reliant. It is like a tempered down version of red, because orange isn't as physically violent. The violence and aggression becomes more about psychological and emotional abuse.
Green - An elevation of Blue. It's less rigid, but still community based. People start to explore their inner selves and focus less on the external. Spirituality, and harmony. Compassion and empathy for others start to develop. Caring about the environment and our impact on it. There is still moralizing and demonizing of those who are not like them.
Yellow - An elevation of Orange. Still a sense of independence and personal responsibility. But there is an element of compassion and understanding how everything fits into a larger system. Appreciation for natural hierarchies and seeing how everything is interconnected. A system is an emergence of all the elements in it. Not a sum total of each part.
Turquoise - An elevation of Green. True compassion and love starts to develop. Where Green was limited to moralizing and demonizing, Turquoise embraces holistic thinking. Realizes everything is all interconnected and forms all of existence. Reality is an emergence of everything in it. There is no difference between self and other. Non-dualism.
Starting from Yellow, and downwards. Each stage looks down on the two stages below it. It is like the relationship between adults and children. Most adults look down on children. Children react negatively to this and then look down on most adults.
For example: Green looks down on blue, not realizing it is like the adult version of blue. Blue is like an immature version of Green. Orange is like an immature version of Yellow, and so on.
What I really find interesting is how each color seems to represent each stage so well.

  19. NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens): Creators, and Artists. Seize this moment!
NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens): Creators, and Artists. Seize this moment!
For all you artists and creators who want to escape the wage slavery. The biggest opportunity in the world is happening now.
I'm sure most of you are aware of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology by now. If you really took the time to research, and understand the technology, you would see how incredible this opportunity is.
I've known about Bitcoin for over 8 years now. Since then, I have watched the space grow and flourish rapidly. Blockchain technology is where the big revolution is happening.
As a result of the growth and development in the crypto community, there has been an emergence of something called NFT (Non-fungible Tokens). This is basically a way to create unique digital goods that people can exclusively own.
The art space is especially thriving with NFT.
It really takes some big picture thinking and a deep understanding of technology and human behavior to really see how valuable this is. Let me put it this way, the kids that are growing up today mostly live in a digital world called the Metaverse. Imagine how they would spend most of their time 10 years from now. This is an upgrade and paradigm shift to the Internet as we know it.

  20. Do only people with inferiority complexes participate in politics?
Do only people with inferiority complexes participate in politics?
I read a rather profound book by osho: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/priests-and-politicians-osho/1123191887?ean=9781938755880

This book was rather profound. Essentially, no spiritual man can ever enter politics as spirituality diminishes the desire for greed, ambition, vanity, ego. Politics requires fraud and deception, something no spiritual person can ever partake in. The most profound and radical insight I got from this book, is that only those with inferiority complexes ever enter Politics. It is a way of getting rid of inferiority complexes, only a mind wounded by inferiority is a political mind.
The society is ill, and no Buddha can conform to the society, because the society is neurotic and a Buddha is not.

  24. How do you know if what you are doing today is actually moving you toward your LP?
How do you know if what you are doing today is actually moving you toward your LP?
This was one of the big problems I had when I at 16 finished the life purpose course 4 years ago. And if you look at my profile picture and username that I created back then, it roughly reflects my state at 16.
When I was 13 I started programming and I was able to see that the traditional education system was not the most effective way to become a programmer. I'm pretty sure I also knew back then that I was not going to be programming for the rest of my life but that I would be able to get a job as a programmer if I ever needed one. You might say I was a bit too optimistic, but I had my first client I worked for and earned $ 1500 at 14.
So at 16 I choose to leave the education system to learn on my own. I was faced with the harsh reality of no longer being part of a system. No external structure, no teachers saying what you should or should not do. I did well back then, but it was much more like that  I found this interesting, let me complete a course about it and then that would lead to the next thing. The life purpose course was one of the first courses I went through and I still have the notes from back then.
I have to say that the course was valuable but as Leo also says, he would not coach young people since they would not have enough life experience to be able to know what their life purpose was. At the end of the course I ended up with this life purpose:
"I want to build a team that makes software that completely changes peoples lives"
It is in the right direction as you will find out soon.
At 17 I discovered systems thinking from actualized.org and later Getting Things Done by David Allen. I found it so exciting to develop a system that could take all the things in your head and organize it into projects and tasks. I then found even more advanced ways of organizing your information. How you could develop a
Learnings system that would make you extremely effective at learning (A mini version of the educational system develop for self study)
Planning system that would make you continuously be aligned with your life purpose
Organizational system that would manage all information about the different areas of your life
Right before I turned 18 I got a job as a part-time developer and this way I got the money to be able to pay thousands of dollars for coaching from different people who know a lot about personally managed systems.
Now at 20, I have a very effective system that keeps me aligned with my life purpose. I call it a Personal Information Management System (PIMS).
Right now I’m going through my notes from the Life Purpose Course again. This is my first draft "Unify Humanity In A Cohesive System" and my sub purpose is to "align individuals with their purpose". I know I want to help individuals with a bigger purpose align themself with it by implementing a system that supports them to insure progress. Creating crystal clarity about what they need to do today, that is aligned with what you want to do this week, month, quarter, year, 4 years, 10 years, 20 years and your lifetime.
The 4 year and above is possible, but most people would get so much out of getting a system that would just manage from days to a year.
Then later I want to help teams in companies, then entire companies and then maybe get into government.
If you can see the value in having a self imposed system rather than an external imposed system (the education system, the work system at a job) that you can change so it most effectively supports you doing the things that will make your life purpose a reality then please send me a message so we can talk. Right now I really just want to talk with more people and find out what you actually want. Maybe we will also set up a system for you.
PS. If you want then I could also explain how the ideas from leos video about systems thinking apply to a personally managed system.

  25. 2nd Tier Spirituality in Action
    2nd Tier Spirituality in Action
What a beautiful implementation and representation of 2nd tier spirituality and systems thinking. Notice that he's not trying to push awakening down to people's throats like some dogmatic preacher. You don't earn people's trust that you have their best interest when sharing your spirituality by just undermining them like some arrogant asshole . Rather, give them certain practices that will have some great benefits that may seem rather small but it sets the stage in establishing a positive relationship to the practice.
If you aren't familiar with Rebel Wisdom I highly recommend checking them out. They have a really great platform and community and it's a delight to see.
