I suppose chopping your entire leg off to fix a broken leg is one way of finding a solution to a problem In all seriousness though if it is working for some people just let my criticism of it go. I’m not being entirely serious here. I've tried it before and didn’t notice any positives and I’ve seen a lot of skewed and unhealthy view points preach it so I tend to clap back when people preach no fap related stuff as a solution to their problems. I’m sure there are situations where a high quality practice of semen retention is what’s needed for a person.

schools should teach consciousness and not to bully bullying was a big problem when I was in school. Not sure if it has gotten better since. -
https://www.npr.org/2020/12/22/948827323/in-cyberpunk-2077-the-only-truly-punk-move-is-not-to-play NPR has released a scathing review calling out the hypocrisy of the anti corporation story of this game and the fiasco of this game's launch

It's a bit of a pity though cause there are tons of aspiring game developers that would completely destroy themselves working 6 days (12 hour shifts) a week in some highly prestigious studio doing crunch time work. Since the studio is so prestigious the brass at the top knows they can replace anyone that speaks out about their shitty working conditions and thus replace a cog in the machine with fresh meat. This is an all too common trap. Seems like there are few huge studios that genuinely try to build a long lasting family of sorts and don't push their staff to breaking points. Valve is one of the few I can name. It then takes Valve ages to make games though. I think people overlook the toxic orange habits actually required to make a huge AAA game on a timely basis. It's not possible to produce some of these massive games in a few years without overworking the team.

you don't need to meditate all day to gain spiritual insights. you might even find yourself getting stuck in such a situation. people seen the Buddhist monk character of the recluse in the mountains and automatically assume that is the most conscious person. -
I disagree. This is akin to claiming the pursuit for money is purely evil and not to pursue money. It's a purity test of altruism. There are degrees of altruism.

I wouldn't say it's so black and white like true/false when it comes to emotions. There are many way to approach emotions. Emotions are more like a language of sorts and just like how language how all sorts of vocabulary from simple to complex words, emotions are similar to this. Some feel better than others and understood easier than others. It is the mind that contextualizes them and then from there healthy choices can be made or unhealthy ones the body/mind work in tandem. All emotions are true in a sense that if you are experiencing it in the present moment it exists, the content of them ,or how you contextualize it or the beliefs behind them or how you understand why it is arising is more open for interpretation usually and is fluid. For example: you may see someone at the mall and it looks like they laugh at you. you feel self conscious and embarrassed because you believe they may be laughing at you. it's true that you are experiencing an emotion but the belief behind it may be skewed in some way that doesn't serve you. -

really sorry you are going through this. can really hurt when one is betrayed. i would honor your hurt self. it's ok to be vulnerable and feel innocent and confused and feel hurt. there is true bravery in embracing one's vulnerability and feeling it fully.

it's generally pretty awful advice. another poster said it but I think it's taken out of context with how some advanced yogi might be doing it along with some super committed practice, diet, lifestyle, culture, etc. if it improves your life, good for you. I personally have never had any benefit from it and have no interest in suppressing my bodily desires but instead expressing them consciously. tantra and consciously masturbating is something I found is great for me. it feels good and this dimension is meant to be enjoyed. masturbate and have lots of great sex

no they don't currently exist because there is a level of self reflection and consciousness required to be stage green that wouldn't allow for a company to do the things it has to do to become a massive conglomerate in a stage orange environment. don't get me wrong, there are very successful stage green businesses. a full stage green market place is decades away. probably not even in my lifetime. you need to have some stage orange paradigms to build as massive corporation in this day and age. it's the equivalent to needing to be stage red to take over and build a civilization 1000 years ago. it's not possible outside this paradigm given the context of the times. -
step in the right direction. can't help but feel a little angry though that this didn't happen sooner and that these companies won't actually take any action and make their platforms more conscious unless their money is threatened. good lord, do some of these people running these companies only care about growing their company no matter what? where is the self reflection? facebook is also long overdue for some massive cleaning.

You should be extremely careful. Personally I don't think you should. A conservative approach to Psychedelics is wise. There are plenty of things you can do to help yourself in the meantime.

there seems to be some people who have positive experiences from it and gain insight but they are few and far between -

no clue why anyone in their right mind would want to smoke this crap. I remember in high school when videos of people freaking out on it were going viral. it completely scrambles the discerning mind and reference point to a degree that could leave lasting damage. -
lol I am not a follower of his besides having seen a few youtube videos of his but I really don't think this guy is running a cult at all. he does liek to go off on his end of days talks. I chalk this up to him being one of those older D&D / star trek nerds (he makes mention of old geek culture in one of his videos) and he likes to run with something fantastic. Mooji on the other hand....

It isn’t liquid related cause I pee before bed. I wake up quite often in the middle of the night and then I experience a light DMT land. I’m trying to lessen this waking up because it is kinda annoying and doesn’t feel great and isn’t conducive for a good nights rest. Are there any supplements I can take to lessen the likelihood of this happening.

I've experienced stuff like this before. Here is the thing I've come to realize, but my understanding isn't fully complete and I'm open to learning further : When consciousness expands and the mind is altered, usually a skewing of the discerning mind's ability from the psychedelics, it will dream up all sorts of stuff depending on the emotions one is carrying around. With powerful psychedelics it comes on super fast and it's hard to see the process taking place and seeing it unfold so all of a sudden you experience altered dimensions different from normal waking consciousness and it feels very powerful. When you experience this much more slowly you will see that you are dreaming this up and creating this experience. I've experienced this while waking up from sleeping and literally saw how the pattern or process unfolds and saw how it was deeper parts of the subconscious and psyche manifesting. It's a great state for gaining insights and I much prefer when it moves slower like this. It isn't so much about worrying if entities are messing with you. It's more so about exploring why you carry this fear with you and getting curious about it. If you can get this process to slow way down you'll understand what I'm talking about. The take away, let it go and don't worry about entities messing with you but do try to work on any embodied fear you may notice arrises
