  4. https://oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/2021 What you guys think?
  5. I've seen and experienced time and time again that looks for a man really don't matter all that much. If you look physically average and take care of yourself, barber, good clothes, posture, body language, etc and present yourself in a nice way you have a decent chance finding a girl you fancy, even ones that you may consider more attractive than the man. This excludes online dating which is different from in person.
  6. I am in between on it. This is the reason stuff gets regulated in the first place. You could apply this logic to any field that involves risk. On one hand I think people should have autonomy with their spiritual practice but on the other that freedom leaves open the potential for abuse. We can't have cowboy shamans (there are far worse than what's being called out on Martin Ball) running around potentially fucking people up in the name of healing or helping someone. Perhaps both systems could coexist at some point but these cowboys really don't have the most sound system for screening, oversight over their practices, and after care. It's more complex and involved than just handwaving them away saying only other hippies are going to them since that isn't always the case.
  7. First off I like Martin Ball and I do think he is a good dude that has put a lot of time and effort into his work with the intent of helping people and bringing some understanding to these radical experiences. I've talked to him before and he is a caring guy and I don't think he is nefarious or devilish in his practice. With that said I don't think his approach is good for random people and probably many people, especially those who aren't of sound mental clarity and health. I'm not talking about some veteran burners who lives in Oregon and can handle their shit but people who are curious and looked this stuff up and weren't aware just what they were getting themselves into. Current cowboy operations do not know how to prepare and screen for such people properly and do not have systems in place to support people after. If we are to legitimize these substances and have them integrated as a viable and legal means for people to explore/heal/raise consciousness we need to call attention to these cowboy operations going on. They are what they are and I understand why they are the way they are but as we try to move into the new psychedelic renaissance we need to advocate for a much stronger and ethical container when using them and these videos raise awareness for such systems. Offering healing and energy work through psychedelics needs to have the same ethical and procedural container medicine and therapy has. I'm sure plenty of women were fine after their back ally abortion but plenty were left scarred as well. These dated shamanic rituals carry a lot of risk when it comes to certain people and we need to develop a framework to keep people safe. Shamanic rituals are all good and sacred but we can always try to mitigate potential problems and make them safer.
  8. Just take it easy. Deep breathes and calm yourself. Maybe pump the brakes on the attention you’re giving her by 20%. I’ve felt this way before when I didn’t have a lot of options and one girl would come along that I liked all of a sudden seemed so special to the point I’d worry about losing her. Let’s say you had four or five other potential dates lined up. It wouldn’t hurt nearly as much cause you knew you had other options with other girls you like. Focus on building more opportunities in the meantime.
  9. Adriana Lima is very pretty but there are several other women I have a preference for over her. Maybe she has aged some which may sound a little harsh but I feel like after a certain age a woman just doesn't have the same sex appeal as a woman in her early 20s. I'm talking sex appeal, not beauty. Women are very beautiful at all ages. This instagram model may be one of the sexiest woman I've ever seen
  10. Honestly I haven’t really contemplated what is existentially going on here with NFT but what it looks like to me is there are some really rich crypto people just trying to show off their cash in some new way and hoping it becomes a thing so they feel special having participated in some new crazy tech fad. I don’t think the people dropping serious cash on these are doing so as an investment.
  11. it's a total joke. it's basically a receipt saying you spent a bunch of money on nothing. NFT does not grant you publishing rights to the image necessarily. the NFT is not the digital image itself and unlike skins in a video game you can't do anything with the image or show off the art in some exclusive way except perhaps on some website saying you own the NFT. it is just a token that says this digital image is yours in the most imaginary way possible and has a few other features like if you sell it again the original artist gets a share.
  12. NFT art stuff is a total bubble and late stage capitalism disappearing up it's own rear. like crypto currency though the tech behind it is pretty cool and will probably have legitimate uses in 10/20 years.
  13. lol this is not what is going on with NFTs
  14. Same... but it's a double edged sword. Enjoy refined femininity and stunning beauty but with that comes the drama and friction and unpredictable nature of her.
  15. they know how to milk the hell out of the star wars fanbase probably the original fandom that will literally stan for anything put out under the brand
  16. no one man should have all that powwwweeeerrrrr - kanye west
  17. you men a completely fearless human being? yes, it is possible, but they won't be around for long since they will be awful at survival.
  18. I think I pinched a nerve pretty badly in my neck a couple days ago and since then I've noticed all sorts of somatic painful symptoms that I often associate with fear and depression. My body is tingling often all over and I find myself in a sort of fear response constantly that is not going away. Going to try and stretch my neck some these next few days to see if I can free it up. From this a lot of negative thoughts have followed. This lead to sort of an insight. Since all emotions are felt in the body and are essentially physical sensations, can chronic pain lead someone to becoming very depressed and in an awful emotional state?
  19. Cast iron skillets are awesome. You need to season them before use and do it occasionally again (not after every meal) but they are amazing and really fun way of cooking. Can put them in the oven too.
  20. I feel anxious and emotionally blocked when around my parents. I don't feel as open around them cause I feel afraid of being judged and vulnerable due to all the quarrels and family issues and fighting from the past. I feel afraid to cry around them and don't really like to be too emotionally open with them. Has anyone been able to make progress at improving relationships with their parents?
  21. what seems blue to you in this? seems like some sort of comedic pure green with a healthy dose of all it's dysfunctional aspects.
  22. I really sorry. This sounds really painful and sad
  23. Woke as fuck but still thought jar jar was a good idea. God, you sure know how to tell a good joke.
