There are more distinctions to be made when it comes to masculine character though over physical beauty I would say. Women get better at smelling out healthy masculinity over toxic. The asshole who was having some luck is masculine for sure but it's sort of a neurotic version of it. Masculine anything will always be attractive to women but the more they are able to tell what kind a man is (if they are wise enough to learn) they will gravitate away from those they know are toxic for the sake of their heart, unless they are trapped in that cycle of associating abuse with romance.

I noticed young women will go through a phase where they will date a few asshole/manipulative guys and then either a) repeat this a million times and become more and more neurotic b) learn from it and start choosing better partners. I've also seen guys including myself who were assholes and got laid because of it but upon self reflection realized that is not the person I want to be and grow from it. A lot of people go through these phases when they are young.

It's getting sort of annoying how the word asshole is constantly used when this question is brought up. When I think of an asshole I think of a guy that is downright disrespectful, abusive, shaming and a liar. Naive girls that get walked over will fall for these guys sometimes. Just because you are outgoing, self confident, a little edgy and not a people pleaser doesn't mean you're an asshole.

why did you mom put you on a dating site? she doesn't like your current boyfriend?
-
it depends on the person. I would say neither sex is more hornier than the other. both are equally horny. women just aren't usually as down to fuck as quickly as men are since there is more risk for them on the physical (pregnant, STD more likely, safety) end and maybe on the emotional one as well.

OP needs to cultivate more self love

I don't think you need to look at being the one to make the first move as a bad thing. Why paint it as an automatic negative? Where does the "negative" in it exist? Couldn't it all the same be a positive or be seen as an opportunity or something fun to do? What you are describing is a symptom. What I think is behind this is that you are more so afraid of feeling rejected or having some feelings of not being good enough come up. These can be quite painful to face when it comes to dating.

I have been through this before where my art just flows from me and I am creating one masterpiece after the next and then other times where I'm shooting blanks. When I experience this I just try to relax and not force anything. No need to freak out and feel bad about it. Journaling and writing down ideas helps. Anything to just keep the wheels rolling a bit. Focusing on sleep and nutrition and all that. Basically, no need to force anything, just keep doing what you're doing, studying and letting yourself enjoy the process of creation and just being proud of whatever outcome you get even if it isn't the one you expected. Remind yourself why you undertook this endeavor in the first place.

This is such a dumb thread -
I think he is over blowing this problem a bit but he does make a somewhat true vague point. It will be more difficult to date if there is a gender imbalance depending on which side you are on. Men in Europe and Russia post WWII basically were treated like princess and baby boys by women and had it super easy then due to there being way less of them after the war. In some countries today it is reversed now. It's just life these days for some men. My heart goes out to men in India and China. Guys in the US really have very little to complain about compared to how those guys have it. You're going to have to work and grow from this disadvantage or become a twitch viewer / gamer. The choice is yours.

I just got the prem service, added some memes to my pics and a dumb bio that makes me sound like some corny bad boy and I got some matches with hot girls lol american girls are weird. dunno why they are into that dumb fake acting persona like "I'm soooo interesting and edgy and exciting." smfh. that shit does not work in europe from my experience.

https://www.vice.com/en/article/93wmxv/can-a-company-patent-the-basic-components-of-psychedelic-therapy A better article on this topic. read the whole article. it goes into better detail on what's going on here. So basically they are filing broad patents (which is common when developing something new so when it is rejected you can focus more on what you've done that is original) on how to conduct psychedelic assisted therapy that are sort of a given to anyone familiar with doing psychedelics for personal growth. The concern is that people in the field think that the people granting patents may not be familiar with the process and grant a wider patent than is needed to Compass Pathways which could give them an unfair advantage.

Thank you

you sound like some poorly written anime villain. it's fine to ponder this idea but in reality you would be screaming and freaking out if we behaved as a collective majority like this.

I made it an hour into it. I can't listen anymore. -
At this moment I think they are more so doing clinical trials with substances that have been around for a long time. I'm actually interested in investing in these start ups since they are going to revolutionize mental health treatment and it is a sector I want to see grow. The thing is though that it's going to have to become a business and become normalized in our current institutions before it becomes widespread. The end goal are treatment centers that offer these treatments.

So if I go to india all I got to do is learn some songs in the local language

I think it's a bit more nuanced than this article portrays. I'm not entirely sure yet if I am for or against (or to what degree of either) how Compass Pathways is positioning themselves in this emerging market. I think the one thing that I've heard that I'm against is them passively trying to restrict other start ups from being able to get the licenses to use these substances for their own trials. There is some debate though over whether or not it's okay for them to require their researchers to not disclose information if they were hired to do work for them. This could be considered R&D.

Yeah but how many guys are quite ugly? The average guy can do a lot with his wardrobe and photos and lifestyle to make his profile somewhat decent. Tinder is such shit though otherwise. There are not a lot of attractive women in my area and I rarely get matched with them. I see a lot of women on there that I’m not remotely attracted to physically.
