  1. Exactly. This merit based approach was tolerable for most citizens when there was less inflation, housing shortages and income inequality. I’m entirely for a reinvestment in the USA first, especially to reign in a lot of these tech oligarchs. But the intention behind most who are against this visa is mostly racism. I think it’s a bit challenging to recognize both sides and set reasonable intentions for how this should go forward because both sides have bad actors pushing for their interests. We are fucked letting tech bros dictate immigrant policy so their can build their businesses and we are fucked if we push for America first which rednecks get their racism boner up to.
  2. This visa is exploited by these “utopian builder” tech guys who want to hire smart Indians and Chinese to build their tech apps. This is why they sided with Trump. They can lobby him for this shit more easily than dems who do support these visas but also support unions and worker rights. In theory it’s a good visa to have, get the best of the best from all over the world, in reality it’s also used an out for these tech guys to enrich their companies at the expense of our our citizens. Invest in Americans first. These tech guys want oligarchy and will support any policy that helps them build their “legacy.”
  3. Your mind is completely rotted by RT, you throw out all rational thought in defense of Russia, be honest with yourself. It will benefit your life.
  4. Wouldn’t be the first time Russia shot down a civilian aircraft. Do not fly to or in these war ridden countries! Dangerous. Wonder if Russia will just blame the USA and Ukraine as usual for their mistakes.
  5. The only thing that can makes sex unenjoyable for me is 1. A lack of physical attraction. 2. The heart chakra is closed. Have you ever had sex with your 10/10 ex girlfriend but you have had so many fights and are breaking up and every moment of the sex feels like salt in an open wound? It hurts so much.
  6. If this doesn’t bring PayPal down… nothing will. Forget all the lack of seller protections which let scammers steal from small businesses. I remember reading how one guy literally recorded himself with a GoPro shipping packages to customers because he had a zero protection if a customer wanted to charge back. Let’s not forget the absolutely insane fees. It’s a horrible service. Like I said, I have no idea how they are still in business
  7. It’s hard to really see any educational value in this but goddamn these videos are hilarious
  8. Everyone wants to be captain hindsight now and especially with Ukraine. Supporting Taiwan absolutely was the most rational and strategic thing for the US or any superpower in their shoes to do at that time. Imagine if China was able to expand their zombie communism to the rest of Asia? The world would have not developed the same, human rights would have been a joke compared to what it is now . Everyone wants to cry about big bad America. I’m not saying this western democracy form of government is perfect, USA has a ton of issues with it’s double standards but you are taking for granted what we have now because of our form of government being the dominant one. We probably wouldn’t even be having this discussion if western democracy didn’t prevail, have you seen how heavily censored Chinese internet is? Forget any form of open dialogue.
  9. Have you been paying attention to the politics? NATO is a block of democratic countries that requires nuanced consensus to do anything. High tech ballistic missiles and fighter jets aren’t Christmas candy you just hand out. It takes complex training and political processes to hand this over to a developing military. Not to mention the country Ukraine is fighting has thousands of Nukes and there is a fog of unpredictability about how this conflict could escalate if too much of this tech turns the tide quickly. NATO has supported Ukraine but in a sense a very careful approach. You don’t remember how funding from the USA has stalled since 2023? NATO countries have been at odds with each other about how to go about arming Ukraine since this started. You need to look into what the USA has in its arsenal. If the NATO block was actually able to come to a decisive consensus and they weren’t afraid of the political fallout or risk of Russian nukes this would have ended ages ago. The USA could have made Ukraine a no fly zone with the help of Turkey from the Black Sea alone.
  10. that is not a theory I’d ever want to test but man what if Russia tried to do something with their nukes and they didn’t even work because people in their military pocketed all the cash to maintain them.
  11. Armed factions, power deals and corruption. I do expect at least some sort of bizarre harmony to come from this. I can’t possibly see this being worse than that monster who was ruling before.
  12. Taiwan has as much right to determine itself if a place like Crimea can vote to be annexed by Russia.
  13. Part of Indian Hinduism’s appeal is its theatrics. There’s some people who get off on speaking poetically and passing their time with occult stuff yet they freak out the moment they get a parking ticket or their order at the restaurant is taking ages. You can put a label on anything and make it out to be something special and different to make yourself enjoy whatever you’re spending your time doing. My lunch went mahasamadiwoowoo the moment I ate it. Magical!
  14. There’s real humility in realizing and admitting everything you’ve come to believe may not actually be true. This is sort of the core of the spiritual dynamic. Accepting the uncertainty / unknown. Only present moment now.
  15. I think you got to experiment with what works for you. I’ve found just sitting down to meditate for any extended period of time is a waste of time. I think showing up daily is more important than any long sitting. Hiking is amazing and can also really open your mind. I love to hike and I have done some decent trials that take a few hours. I think it’s worth doing more if you find it helps.
  16. I received the teaching of responsibility when it was time for me to enter creator mode. Different aspects of life lessons / spirituality / seeking (whatever you want to call it) find their way into your life when you are ready to receive/perceive them. It's impossible to not be responsible.
  17. At least they aren't like Osho's, trying to kill people. There will always be people who need a guru to look up to.
  18. I can do all this stuff too, nothing special if he has helped you or brought you joy then that's good. He makes some great youtube videos.
  19. I went bald at 20…. Just shave it and move on.
  20. I’ve found this all to be true as well. I’ve struggled with letting go of a woman I been with for a while based off of beliefs of scarcity and lack and also beliefs having to do with gaining value by pleasing someone I see as family, loyalty and beliefs about love having to be rare and exclusive to be true. There is a whole prison we can create for ourselves around relationships where we entirely forget we have our own value regardless of this relationship or person. It can be very hard to get out of. Especially if you particularly grow close to one girl, that relationship ending is like a death and something about that is very hard to accept when looking at it through the mind / ego / inner child. It can really expose a huge inner misconception about needing to earn value outside oneself and also resolve some massive misconceptions about family and other people giving us value. I struggled for years with women and was very isolated, separated, self imposed separation. This issue of a lack of relationships with women ties directly into a lot of core childhood issues that form alongside the ego. Misconceptions of needing someone else to be whole and one. But the interesting thing about it is that people like the OP can’t be forced or told that this sort of rage they have around this issue is trivial. I can really relate to how this issue of not dating and being able to meet women can become so incredibly hard for men these days. Being told lofty spiritual stuff or given perspectives on how this issue isn’t as big as it is I found wasn’t helpful for me resolving this, even after being with many women since the core issue I still need to revisit and let go and my understanding of it has grown much deeper and deeper, it culminates ultimately in accepting eternal change and death. In my opinion what OP needs to do is really open up. I do think OP should seek professional therapy. He said he doesn’t want to but I think this is a massive blunder. OP needs this. It helps create space and a freeing. It’s ironic but this holding on to the anger is oddly enough what keeps us stuck. Just having someone who actually knows what men face today, a male therapist who knows how hard dating and relationships are today, this can help a ton: do not get some clinical weirdo or a woman therapist. Get a male therapist in his 30s/40s who isn’t gay or an overly SJW. This will help a ton and help release a lot of contraction on this issue. From there OP can start to become more resourceful and start learning about women and going places to socialize. Right now OP is in extreme separation, they need to open up and reconnect more and regain energy to then start to learn how to socialize and do pickup or whatever:
  21. Stop projecting your enigmas and fantasies and self made mystical confusions onto this man. He’s a spiritual teacher and if you want to entangle yourself into what I’ve found to be a dated and problematic path towards spiritual awakening feel free. He’s just a man. He does a lot of good here and I recognize his contribution. I do think he is honest. But if you want to put yourself into a trans like a cobra listening to a flute feel free.
  22. And they can’t get treatment for this sickness because people like healthcare ceos make sure insurance doesn’t cover it.
