  1. I actually think what he is doing is fine as a man. I think men can take more lovers while it is not suited for a woman to. Thing is women are very clingy and protective of their men. If you are a man and can pull it off cool, I’m jealous and want that too. But I don’t wanna wrap it up in new age stuff. Men want lots of beautiful women even if they are married. It’s quite simple for us. It’s mostly just for sex. It’s nice to have lots of women. Love one and have others for fun or love a bit too but be with one as the ride or die.
  2. Yes yes I agree. Can be challenging letting go of someone you love that wants something different though, but who else to choose but oneself.
  3. As someone who aligns with leftist world views when it comes to voting, the issue with the world view is that they confuse their aspirations for how things should be vs how they actually are. There is a subtle dishonesty to holding onto beliefs about how the world should be vs accepting the world as it is. It’s pretty simple but this one little thing creates the issues found in the leftist world view.
  4. Thing is though unchecked male desire can take its tole on having a loving partnership. It can be a difficult balance to strike. Male mating strategy is to mate with as many women as possible and I believe men are much better suited for this and it’s much more natural for a man to do this than a woman, but it will eventually come at the expense of a stable union between the two. Hence why it’s best to keep the mistress on the down low and just be so good at being a man your wife won’t leave you. Issue is this is dishonest and mentally will take its tole. I don’t recommend it. I think in the end we need to make peace with monogamy if we want a woman to grow old with.
  5. It’s called “emptiness sickness.” You eventually come out of it and come back down to earth. You want to fill your cup up with life and love, not non dual crap. You can go so far into yang you forget yin. There is an entire culture here that entirely disregards the form here and is completely oblivious to the fact that it is equally as spiritual and deep as the formless or whatever Shroom awakening they had. It’s the reason why the life purpose section is a joke here with no whales or anything, really the only guy who has actually done something big outside the forum is Leo himself. Most of the rest are young college aged bros who can’t get laid who then retreated into spirituality. If you are experiencing a body, with a name, and human responsibilities while reading this, improving your bank account or relationship is far more important than pumping your ass with 5meo dmt for the 100th time and is definitely not any less spiritual or “god” if you are open to awakening to this. I would be really honest with yourself over what you label as “high consciousness” and what that actually means, if anything.
  6. USA has been ahead in tech for ages and is falling into fascism. The USA. The model democracy. China has been authoritarian. They aren’t stagnant welfare states. They have fallen behind but that is a right wing talking point. People are so spooked and warped by what’s going on in the USA they think a balanced country with workers right (USA 50 years ago) is now a commie welfare state. I’m not arguing with reality though. Who knows what will unfold. And I do think Europe needs to ensure its own safety much more so, especially after Trump blundered. No doubt Europe innovating more would be a good thing.
  7. I don’t know why people act like it’s unknown why Russia invaded Ukraine, or why it needs to be constantly reanalyzed. It’s not a secret nor even clouded in mystery and every reason still doesn’t justify their invasion. Yes, there is a “make Russia great again” element to it as well as security concerns about NATO. Russia is an insecure former empire so they definitely didn’t like being poked and they have never really fallen in line with the rules set by the USA, they have seen the USA as hypocritical and wanted to make themselves a more formidable force on the world stage. They see Ukraine as theirs and they don’t see what they are doing as anything different than what the USA would do if it were in a similar situation. Putin also brain rotted himself during Covid through isolation. He basically did what half the world is doing now, rotted their mind out with lies and insecurities. He miscalculated how easy it would be to take Ukraine and probably went through various stages of regret and now he’s probably feeling pretty good after going all in. He said “fuck it” and just went all in as soon as he realized it wasn’t going to be easy and now he’s just riding it out cause he’s recalculated and can get some concessions. No one really wins here in the short term but he’s hoping he can set Russia up for the long term to be stronger. No one really knows how this will play out over our life times.
  8. Who cares if Europe isn’t as ambitious as China or USA? Europe should just focus on their security and protect their way of life. We need to do what is right and necessary and I don’t see European policy conflicting with that especially now. Upholding democracy and people’s rights and freedom. We need that now more than ever on the world stage.
  9. The problem is you all try to name something that cannot be named. In life the notion of solipsism is false yet at the same time all is one. A miracle to behold. All notions lead nowhere, the truth follows only itself.
  10. Do other men get to rail his wife? I’m all for men maximizing their mating strategies and getting what they want, but I’m not going to dress it up in new age stuff. Men want more than one woman and they are built for it, it’s that simple. No new age fluff needed.
  11. Yes, it’s a challenge as it is now even for people of decent working age. How the f is someone in their 50s or 60s supposed to repurpose themselves for the economy? The system is deeply flawed. Most millennials have nothing saved for retirement. There will be a massive wave of elderly who need welfare.
  12. Say who? Spinning how you got your wife to agree to threesomes is a sort of silly way of justifying your spirituality but ok
  13. Saw a bunch of Israel propaganda on the way down to the beach (popular place these people backpack). They plastered a sign with their stickers and whatnot. Fuck them.
  14. You guys are chronically online. This site has grown more and more doomer.
  15. People were hunkered down at home and saw much of the suffering through a tv screen, but were also switching over to Netflix and all the stuff we gorged on during the pandemic. It’s much less frightening than a bomb going off. A lot of people who died were elderly and overweight people. So there isn’t as much pressure for people to remember, also the war in Ukraine started right at the end of Covid which took over the news. War is remembered more.
  16. These labels, as if this couple or that couple passed some conscious milestone and are so enlightened now their relationship deserves some new title. It’s just cringe. This guy was a smooth talker and is able to get threesomes with his wife, cool, wouldn’t all men like this? I’d love to fuck other women besides my girlfriend. One woman is just, boring. I don’t care how beautiful she is. It’s boring after 4 years. Hope his wife isn’t the jealous type tho. Sounds like from the comments she is coping. Will we hear some scandal about how he “used her” one day like how basically every relationship ever like this breaks down?
  17. It’s very difficult to build political influence and really achieve anything grand, even state building, when your government structure is basically still stuck in the Middle Ages. It’s called the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Iran has a supreme leader and their religious mosque rules the country. You can’t build effective states like that. Japan and Ireland, people there share more power than it just being concentrated at the top. On top of that Arabs fight amongst themselves a ton.
  18. I don’t like this humanity doomer perspective. Calling humanity the worst parasite, etc. A small percentage of ruling class politicians and elites don’t speak for all of humanity and people just living. Most people don’t have any power to make massive changes like this. It just has to play out and people will eventually mature.
  19. “A week in politics is a year in normal stuff.” This is what my dad used to say to me during the bush years. I think it’s sped up even more. A couple days is now a year. Same applies to tech now too.
  20. I’m noticing two extremes here. I see guys swinging from one extreme to another. I think there are a ton of young men who have been red pilled but are equally as childish and take on some ridiculous beliefs. At the same time they are basically getting scammed and financing the lives of the social media guys they look up to. You then have the liberal millennial type guy who gets called soft for wanting human rights but he falls short in taking responsibility and taking account for himself and what he actually wants. So you can label one worse than the other, one side espouses violence and scamming while the other espouses unrealistic ideals that lead to confusion in identity, both have unique problems.
  21. J6 is possibly the biggest mental gymnastic these people have to put themselves through. They are so wrapped and dishonest it’s sickening and the crazy part is most of the people who voted for him probably even forgot about J6, that’s the attention span of the average voter.
  22. It’s been said but in the USA we have had lower literacy levels across the board. I struggled a lot to read growing up coming from a broken family and needing emotional help I wasn’t given. It’s common for many kids in this country to struggle with reading. At my time they had a Bush law called “no child left behind” which didn’t help much and then they did the whole “common core” thing which also got a ton of criticism. So yeah eduction in the USA has always had its problems. As for focusing, I’m not sure the iPads are 100% the problem. We had academics and pharmaceutical interests poking into education and pushing for ADHD medications for kids. I was given this for not focusing. A lot of scientists and pharmaceutical interests look for problems to solve sometimes that stem simple from living in a society that pushes white collar and education as a means to an end. In fact they used to say if you flunk school you will have to go be a plumber or something like this, which now due to labor shortages is an incredibly high paying job. So I’m sometimes skeptical when someone yells “think of the children.” How about we don’t hoard wealth and pour money into raising our kids, healthcare, free education and infrastructure? That will help kids more than any sort of special interest fear mongering which wants to sell some pills.
  23. Yeah, it’s ridiculous attention whore behavior. He has been doing it for years but he has had to do more and more unhinged stuff to keep in the spotlight. He literally sounds like a teenage boy when he talks. He’s probably autistic (he’s always been this way) but he’s had no incentive to examine how unhinged he is. He just gets more cash the crazier he acts and he’s very stubborn. Bro lost his kids and he is not getting them back. He’s a very lonely sad man.
  24. I know exactly how you feel. I've had the same experience as well trying to learn a second language... two years, hardly any progress, thought I would at least be reasonably proficient at this point yet was lacking tons of vocabulary, couldn't understand what anyone native speaking to me was saying in 75%+ of situations, etc. It can be hard to accept this and we need to really accept ourselves even if we fall short of what we had hoped to achieve. There's a lot of things you haven't been told about language learning and over these two years I've reflected on it a good bit and have had quite a few insights, I'll list them off for you. The language apps don't tell it like it is and language learning is a lot like the fitness industry, they show off the best when marketing products, when it reality many people take a lot more time and effort to learn a second language. Everyone learns different and at a different pace - you cannot compare yourself to others ever when learning a language, we all learn differently, some just have a knack for it, some move slower. Knowing a similar language or already speaking two languages is a ton of help - If say you want to learn Italian or Portuguese, and you see someone crushing it after 6 months, pay attention, most of the time they already speak Spanish, French, etc. If you know similar languages already, learning a third one or another one that is similar speeds things up drastically. Even just knowing two languages can make you keen on different patterns, different phonetic sounds. If you only speak one, you not only need to learn the language itself but lay the entire groundwork for a container and mind that comprehends language differently, thinks differently. It is mentally taxing and on top of that you need to put yourself in all sorts of unfamiliar social situation with different people who may not understand a word you say, may not have any patience for you, learning a language for many is a slow journey up a huge mountain. Timeframe - it doesn't take 1 year or 2 for most people who only know one language. If you only know English and are then trying to become proficient in another that is quite different, it can take 3+ years of consistent learning to actually really nail it. Not for everyone, butt it's not uncommon to need double the time as someone else. Again, everyone is different but it really depends, it is not uncommon to need to be immersed for 4 years to actually be proficient in the language and understand what people are saying to you You need to have a reason and a heart for it - this is perhaps one of the most challenging things that you can't really fake, you need to actually have to learn the language or you wont, you need the motivation and you need a genuine reason to remember it and use it. You need to work on your emotions and sense of self to integrate it and create a identity that incorporates this language, or else it's just a bunch of silly gibberish which can be instantly dropped for what you feel comfortable with. The thing is if you know English, maybe have an English partner and work in English, you aren't exposed as much to the language you want to learn to get good at it in the time frame you expect. In my opinion you need to have a genuine heart felt reason to learn the language and the language is kinda like a person you date, you need to wanna be with them and work at it daily. If you are just studying because you are trying to prove something or there is insufficient motivation, or you aren't having fun, you won't wanna use it or remember it and you will have huge gaps in your studying because it's just being seen as useless gibberish. If it a boring to study, uncomfortable to talk to strangers in it, stuff like this, it isn't going to stick because you just see it as a burden, you need to have genuine reason and enjoyment. This is why someone will learn a second language easy when they for example have a girlfriend who speaks Spanish or they absolutely love TV or music from a different culture. They have a genuine reason to learn the language. You have to find things about the language that inspire you to use it, things that genuinely interest you in the language. Case in point, I remember more Russian words because of my girlfriend than I do any Spanish that I studied in school, because I actually had a need to know these words and there was a genuine reward seeing my girlfriend attracted to me knowing her language, yet I barely studied any Russian, maybe just a couple months of classes. Basically you need to create reasons and have intentions you genuinely believe in for learning the language. Check out immigrants in English speaking countries who maybe lived in their community for 20 years and never learned English, they didn't have a heart felt need to learn it. So here is my advice, don't force anything, find a reason to enjoy studying, maybe watch netflix in the language, movies, tv, music, maybe try to date someone who knows the language native, create a reason to actually know it. Then from there, take some private lessons with a tutor (can take time to find one you like), this is just ot build confidence speaking. For me, it's all about netflix, I can really only stomach netflix and enjoy watching TV in the language I'm studying (Portuguese), I don't like Brazilian music and don't want to date a Brazilian woman, so my motivation has to come from something else.
