They did this in Denmark in the 70s... pretty interesting. Wish them the best.

I can see cheating being mended in a relationship if it is a long marriage with a lot at stake but for something like the average LTR in one's 20s... just move on... not worth investing in people like this.

@Michael569 Do you by chance have a list of supplements, foods, activities, and books to boost testosterone naturally?

A friend of mine told me once they feel this way. I also recall feeling this way as well many years ago. I think at that time I was much more closed off and unauthentic so part of me felt lonely because even though I was around people I wasn't receiving the love of friendship because I was closed off from it. I would seek out people like me as well which further affected my self esteem.

Didn't you make another thread about this? Why do you feel so much resistance regarding whether or not you play this game? You're not going to enjoy it either way if you do get it and feeling something is off. It's just my opinion but I wouldn't spend all that money on a PC just to play this game if you have other financial issues, if money isn't an issue for you then it shouldn't be a problem. You can play it for way cheaper than spending thousands of dollars. If it's a matter of time then ask why you feel you are wasting your time, love yourself. It isn't about changing yourself but loving yourself fully. That's when actual change can occur.

I recall tripping hard once and it was maybe my third time having participated in an Ayahuasca ceremony. I remember the person next to me saw me freaking out and I remember telling them I thought I was trapped in this state forever and they said "you will come back, we always come back." These words touched me deeply at the time and gave me an insight which went beyond just the context of my body fulling metabolizing the DMT for the duration of the ceremony and allowed me to see the importance of letting go and the cycle of returning. Let's not forget human life is a balance of the physical and spiritual and the discernment of these states is often times a key tool in actually fully realizing truth is a joining them.

following this logic I don't see how one can not follow up and say there is no difference then between being awake vs unawake and thus there is no point in even seeking. Fundamentally what you saying there is truth to it... they all have the same foundation but you're overlooking the hierarchal necessity of discernment... so yes it is helpful and necessary to discern the psychedelic space from the sober/actualized state which we are trying to integrate these experiences into. from our relative normal grounded lives the psychedelic space is "more" hallucination and imaginary.

I've done this as well... and so has everyone else. It's part of being human. We make mistakes, hurt others, hurt ourselves, and end up in a knot where we just don't know where to go and feel stuck and afraid to move. Do you have a daily practice or something to start rebuilding this relationship with yourself? Self love and forgiveness goes a REALLY long way in healing this. There are plenty of techniques you can work with. -
I'm really desiring to have a deep psychedelic trip but I'm not sure now is the right time. I have other things in my life I'd like to focus on and don't wish to juggle that with integrating a deep experience. I feel like I need to shoot this arrow and let it hit the target I have aimed for before going back to the formless source. There still is an inner part of me that feels like a trip might aid this however but I'm never really sure what lessons might lay on the other side so I'm hesitant currently. I'm considering doing some MDMA work. I haven't rolled in so many years. I think this may expand my capacity to love and help me make better decisions in life from a more genuine place. I'm excited to do some work on MDMA

I've been down this road before where I looked up to one guru and was eventually left disappointed by them as I progressed and saw that my path was going to be different from the one they took. I've gotten out of this trap and it feels great. What helped me? Loving and trusting myself! I'm the driver Adopt an attitude where you put first that sense of self trust that YOU know what's right for yourself and growing into your greatest potential. Do you trust yourself? -

Apparently he was put into a psych ward... what he experienced after isn't entirely uncommon when people go to these ceremonies. They will drink once or twice, surface some trauma/energy and won't have the opportunity to ground out what came up with another ceremony so they start to go crazy. makes for a tough integration period. He still seems a bit ungrounded but he will be fine, probably doing really well in some time. -

Dreams are a good way of exploring the subconscious. I'll have pretty vivid DMT vision dreams sometimes, like a trip. Write down what you experience in them. This part of experience communicates more in symbols and metaphors though (occasionally directly) so don't overthink it and see what you can uncover about yourself -

Yes, the body is always trying to heal itself to the best of its capabilities. For several hundred years people used to let out blood of sick people to cure their illnesses. Some people still recovered from their diseases regardless of this practice which is now considered barbaric. People were making choices based off of the knowledge they had at the time and from their limited point of view and at that time this practice seemed like a good idea. As we learn more about the human body we will begin to find new ways of helping support its healing. -

I'm saying that if someone finds themselves healed of those conditions the very fact of that occurring denotes to the same miracle of a cut healing on its own. I think some people like to take a ritual and trick themselves into thinking they did something when their body is always naturally trying to heal and cope with its environment. -

The body is always trying to heal itself. Even trying to release trapped traumas/energy in the body which can lead to mental problems. People often get in the way of this when they really don't need to do anything. The body doing its healing is largely an unconscious process. You don't have to do anything to heal a cut if you support the process properly with clean bandages. It happens just naturally and is part of the grand design. That in and of itself is a miracle. It has its limits though depending on the injury. -

"healing" is pretty broad category... heal what exactly? the body or the mind? a mental disorder... yeah plenty, that's what most spiritual healing does. cure a heart on the brink of failure after years of smoking? hmm well it can heal your mindset around it and help you take the actions you need to quit smoking and let the body properly heal the heart. -
Hmm yeah fair enough

This is a good book which is sex positive but also recognizes the responsibility behind viewing porn. Porn is fine if you are responsible with it, just like all vices. I also wouldn't even call it a vice. It's an expression of sexuality which we as humans are hardwired for.

you have come off quite toxic in here tbh your original post had some truth to it but you're now just sort of projecting out your own stuff

This section could use more consistent moderation to weed out the conspiracy theorists and people propagating discrimination and dog whistles.

I used to sleep on my stomach sometimes when I had a very soft and comfortable memory foam mattress. I started traveling and found myself sleeping on stiff as f mattresses. Getting a really firm mattress might help.

Have you considered keeping your diet the same but eating fish??
