I really enjoy these movies because they really show how life unfolds and the ego evolves what are some good coming of age movies?

I just look him up and good point. I'm just speaking in general here. I think there are outliers but in general the military tends to stay anti-partisan and just falls in line with whoever is president. It's actually a good thing it's this way or else it would be easier for a dictator to take over.

1970s people got away with stuff like this awful optics here and a poor comparison that is far too simplistic and offensive
-
Active duty? I think some high ranking retired officials have but the military itself tries to stay far away from partisan issues.

I think you're basically gonna stay stuck in the conformist stage if you're a military man. It's not really possible to make it in that institution to some really high level if you aren't a conformist to the group ego. Perhaps the #1 position is reserved for one stage above to lead the rest of them.

bad advice. that's not how muscle building works.

I've been having gentle spontaneous awakenings the last several months. They are sort of unfolding on their own and it's pleasant. Thing is though after the recent one I had my appetite is kinda low. I've always had a low appetite that goes on and off like this for as long as I can remember and I got most of my calories from around 1-2 high calorie meals, ranging from healthy to unhealthy (burgers, bagles and cream cheese, mexican food, indian food) Thing is I've cut out meat (except fish which I eat daily) and am eating much cleaner so I'm feeling crystal clear however I'm getting less calories. My appetite however really only feels hungry for one meal. I tend to get hungry when I'm eating out restaurant meals. I want to make sure I'm getting between 2000-3000 calories a day. Anyone have any tips for improving appetite? I may just schedule my meals and make sure to eat. If it becomes hard to one of the meals I may just make a smoothie that's high in calories since they always go down easy for me.

I have been on Effexor three times over the years. I actually found this one to be the most helpful for PTSD fear I've experienced before. I have mostly positives to say about this medicine but there are some things to know about it. You can't trip while on it. Don't mix it with psychedelics. I don't think it's safe at all and not a good idea. Also quitting this medication cold turkey is an awful idea. Do not do this. You need to taper off of it. I got very mild symptoms for just a few days if I recall. It takes me about 3 weeks or so to taper off it.

nah I got a bit of a beer belly. I also want to get back in the gym and build up my strength. It's hard to do this if I'm not eating enough.

This shit is as old as the hills. Every decade has a conspiracy theory anti government group based in something. At least during the 90s it was kinda funny when Bill Clinton was supposedly a reptilian. I think Nazi hate groups realized they could build a sizable following dressing their ideology up in some sort of conspiracy to give nutjobs some cheap thrills. It might not even been intentional.

Yup, I could see a Bush V Gore scenario on steroids that could do a ton of damage to the current institutions. The well has been poisoned long ago when it comes to how the public trusts media. You will literally have a thousand different takes all arguing making it easy for a dishonest administration to push a BS narrative and steal the election. Biden is actually preparing an unprecedented legal team war room before the election to take any and every swing state to court where there is some doubt over the vote/suppression of it.

let's just wait and see what happens. I'm not saying this is what will happen but given the current circumstances a constitutional crisis could occur and be dishonestly resolved by a right leaning supreme court. we are in uncharted waters.

Accept yourself fully for it and drop all judgement of it I wouldn't look at this as something to judge or scron yourself over but accept and love.

Oh yeah it is likely going to be a mouthpiece. Doesn't seem like conservatives really care about experience or general politicians anymore. They have colored all of politics being entirely corrupt and a joke as well as they see all of these positions requiring no sort of skill or experience.

It's really a much broader topic than a single sentence. It depends on a lot of things and also each person's perspective and how they experience emotions. It's hard to really exactly define each emotion every person feels and condense them into a research paper. I think a large amount of people taking them aren't really having much altered and they are just thinking more positive thoughts now that they popped a pill they think is going to alter all sorts of stuff and thus their bodies are relaxing and they are feeling better. Other people and other medications however I think can manage sensational bodily reactions so they aren't as intense and are more pleasant and thus allow for clearer thinking. I've taken then before and while I haven't noticed too much typical "depressive" experiences being affected by them as much I've noticed they greatly reduce fear reactions and allow for calmer thinking instead of being thrown into fight/flight all the time with disorganized/delusional thinking. I also need to mention side effects like a reduced sexual drive (most common). Makes sexual stimulation not as intense/enjoyable.

I have memory of reality being much less "solid" of an experience when I was young and sort of existing as this thing that wasn't even aware it was a thing, no concept of death, just aware and I could bounce around physical spaces and make them large and small and all sorts of skewed relative experiences. I suppose what we label conventional death/birth, two sides of the same coin is a sort of washing away a reference point kinda like a sand castle being washed away by the ocean. -

i saw a thing with tentacles once constructing everything with glowing orbs. my entire POV turned int a grid of squares and toppled down like a puzzle being washed around. -

I don't want this... this seems like an absolute mess waiting to happen and I think Rogan when actually engaged in conversation with Trump would get very scared and not check him at all. -
The more conscious I've become the less interest I have in sports and I've basically lost most of my interest in combat sports and pro-wrestling which were really the only athletics I am interested in. I think they can be engaged in recreationally and for self improvement but to be world class and live a life purpose through most mainstream sports you have to be capped at a certain level of consciousness. High conscious athletics is done to connect to one's body, raise one's own consciousness through concentrated practice and better one's self out of joy not "fix" some weakness or trying to be better than another person. Lebron James is an example of a high conscious athlete (orange/green). He seems most motivated for doing sports these days firstly by bettering his community and being a role model for kids and people of color.

This topic of solipsism still confuses me. I kind of understand what "solipsisim" is but I don't understand how people find themselves in it. I haven't really found myself in it before. I've experienced boundlessness and I figured if from this POV with no center is boundless and goes in every direction then there are literally an uncountable POVs that all exist at once... can't really put it into words it's an interesting experience though. -
I don't know why some of you don't like this change. Have you guys read what he updated in the rules? It's quite reasonable. We don't need this place turning into a cesspool and having political threads being diverted every other post arguing over how how qannon is legit etc. it's such a waste of time and it just helps these toxic political movements.

I'll summarize it simply. It basically explains the switch from non-duality to duality. in the beginning there was just god (heaven, oneness, nothing) and it said let there be light, the seven days, etc and god looked upon it's creation and it was good (everything is good). adam in the garden, ignorance to perception, eats the apple, creates the duality of there being something that is bad/evil. The fallen angel leaving heaven to rule over it's domain as a devil, separate from oneness, but the devil has only a finite amount of time before god returns and returns everything to oneness. devil does not have a bad connotation here. it just means experience from a finite dual perspective of self and other that is ultimately false compared to the absolute and will one day return to truth, god. -
I am going to schedule a doctor's check up to make sure everything is in order. I'm looking to improve my sleep. I currently am on a crazy sleep schedule but I think if I get this in order I will be feeling more rested. When I go to the doctor I'm going to ask for them to test for these things. - cholesterol levels - testosterone levels - heavy metals (not sure if I should ask for this as provoked urine or blood? how can I have them check if there is any in my brain?) - liver / kidney tests What other blood/urine tests should I ask for to see if I'm missing anything?

The entire myths of god creating the earth and the fallen angel leaving heaven to become a devil along with adam and eve in the garden of eden is basically the fundamentals of non-duality. -

Did it take you long to learn this technique? Where did you learn it? I've cried before as well while doing breathe work (holotropic & wim hof). From a material perspective this deep breathing stimulates the nervous system and greatly relaxes it. If you have stored up trauma you can be stuck in a perpetual fight or flight reaction that you've gotten numb/unconscious to so when the breathing is happening and the calm is being introduced to the body it causes that stagnant stuff to start coming up and being processed.
