I mean huhhh... who woulda thought that such an incredible force of nature such as the sex drive is uhhh, unhealthy to resist and block? I've done the whole nofap thing and tried it out... barely noticed anything except after the first week I was incredibly horny and wanted to have sex real badly... never got any of these positives and never found masturbating to cause any negatives in my mood... if anything if I don't do it it makes me grumpy and incredibly horny to the point of being annoyed.

I don't like to push my own hard earned wisdom on others but inside try to lead by example. there's no point in giving a pep talk to someone since 99% of the time it falls on deaf ears. People that desire to actualize will actualize and those that don't won't.

yeah... I have no clue what this is. just bizzare...

see this is what I've noticed as well... some very feminine super attractive women are almost turned off by emotional men... Not all by any means but there seems to be a pattern here :\ idk if it's true or not. I think you can still do real well as an emotionally open guy with women however and it feels better to me so I'm going to commit to this. I think you have to open up slowly though and be a little cold from the start... idk...

Good lord... Don't even know how to begin to approach this one.

this is why you won't be effective at your goals. you lack way too little holistic perspective and have quickly already made up your mind. you're basically wanting to crack a giant rock with a tiny chisel instead of using your mind to create a machine that would be more effective at doing so. -

This is a pretty low quality approach to the issue at hand. Don't take people's criticism in here as indifference to not caring about this serious issue. It's just your moralistic, rigid approach and crusade like way of going about it that has been proven to be ineffective. It's the equivalent to the war on drugs. As a society we most def can heal this aspect of humanity but it isn't going to come with one fix all solution. It's going to have to be approached from several angles... increased education and programs, trauma informed and vastly expanded mental health approaches, more economic opportunities, further open minded research on the issue, rehabilitation focused justice system and less judgement from society. One of the issues is that judgement is not so effective at protecting and healing. It is a lower tier form of protection so to some degree it is needed if it is where a society is at but if we wish to transcend this problem we have to move onto healthier systems to heal it. I would say on the very rare occasion there is one perpetrator, due to reasons out of my knowledge, perhaps psychopath mindset from a fossil of human survival, who just totally lacks any sort of emotional faculty or is completely incapable of control over themselves and thus can never be rehabilitated and with them all we can do is keep them securely away from the public for the remainder of their life on this here earthly plane... but for the vast majority of perpetrators I believe they can be healed. -
hank hill is blue... thankfully not so racist like most of conservative blue is today

I think I am attracted sometimes to this old fashion toxic dynamic and girls that are not right for me. It's like I know there are more healthy relationships out there for me but I find my inner critic which I can go unconscious of sometimes drifting me towards women that are all wrong for me. I have this false belief that the most prettiest and desirable woman for me will trigger me in these way and make me act like a cold hearted man. I'm in the process of working on it and wanting to date girls who i think are beautiful but also can have a genuinely healthy relationship with.

Yeah I've felt this way before... I've felt before I had two choices where it came to choosing to express my emotional truths and be open vs maintaining a masculine posture of sorts out of fear of making my partner less attracted to me. It's honestly really hard which one to choose sometimes...

Public displays of nudity as a political movement is pretty interesting. It's a very green thing. I wonder why it's so powerful at making a statement.

It's so odd to me how Trump doesn't have any sort of ideology and yet he has the following of a group that touts as a large part of their identity "family values." it's so plainly obvious to anyone who can see outside of their own needs that he is just out for himself. He is cartoonishly a shady NYC mafia business man. It's ironic how a large ethnic group that identifies itself largely with its religion ended up making a "deal with the devil" to hold onto power. Literally cartoonishly something out of the bible.

I think this is well said. It is very difficult and won't be satisfying to most people if it is answered through logical thinking or from the basis of a standard human paradigm that most people hold. -

been stuck in a loop before... honestly it's really nothing compared to how much worse trips can get. they don't bother me nearly as much anymore. just relax into it the best you can if you can. -
https://www.amazon.com/Political-Order-Decay-Industrial-Globalization-ebook/dp/B00IQOFS7M Political Order and Political Decay: From the Industrial Revolution to the Present Day by Francis Fukuyama Probably one of the best books about understanding what has lead up to the current political situation around the world and why it is occurring. his other book: The Origins of Political Order is also supposed to be really good.

We always merge back into the boundless and limitless field of love so knowing this is the absolute root of everything your desire to exist and experience and learn from the phenomena of life is not ultimately scary no matter what happens. -
these seem to be going viral regularly and are kinda... shocking I'm white (I identify as jewish but I pass as general white ethnicity from US perspective) and I have never experienced anything like this in my life before
