  1. I'm nearing the end of this book myself. Already having read a number of Wilber books (of which SES is clearly the best), the style and repetition was par for the course so didn't really hit me as a big negative. I liked how he talked about the shadow at every level of consciousness, and there were enough new insights that made it worthwhile. Not the place to start with Wilber but if you like his model (I certainly do) then this fleshes it out even more.
  2. Agreed. But of course you can't force people to engage in that way. When I discovered Actualized I immediately recognized its value and proceeded to spend the next several months digesting most of the content on the channel until I caught up and switched to watching the new episodes as they were released. Doing this gave me a pretty good understanding of Leo's teachings (at least as good an understanding as you can have without doing 5-meo, other psychedelics have served me well though). But I don't expect 99% of viewers to do that. Most will watch a video until their worldview is threatened and then either turn it off or bitch about it. There's also the aspect that the people who do engage with Leo's content properly are far less likely to post comments and participate in these kinds of forum discussions and comment threads since they're actually doing the work and self-actualizing.
  3. Most vape carts are terrible. The high is unpleasant and the weird flavors they put in those things are disgusting. THC isn't for everybody and it might not be for you, but try a few different methods before deciding that. A very light dose of good quality flower (a couple puffs at most) would be a far better way to dip your toes in than any kind of vape cart.
  4. I don't really see how talking about solipsism is more radical than "you are God" tbh, but it's Leo's channel and he obviously has the right to take down any videos he isn't satisfied with. Though of course removing it will have the side effect of... well threads like this existing I guess.
  5. its probably gone cus there was a mistake with the video or something, not an uncommon thing when uploading videos to youtube. no need for patreon requests, i'm sure i'll be back up sooner or later.
  6. I dislike most sugar alternatives and prefer just going without entirely. Nothing wrong with unsweetened things.
  7. High dose mushrooms seems better suited to just exploring some of the wild stuff that consciousness can do rather than going straight to god-realizations and stuff. Nothing wrong with that, but it depends on what you're looking to experience. it's good to have a sense of how the different psychedelics suit different purposes and choosing the right one to suit your trip intentions.
  8. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs-ZYk0RNw9CzoIjBl5PU-g/videos This channel "couch wisdom" was recommended to me and I thought it was a normal Actualized video at first since the main channel videos appear in my recommended list often. but i looked closer and noticed that this channel just copied a bunch of Leo's blog-exclusive videos to youtube in lower quality (including one weirdly edited video with the picture of "young Leo" with the blog post text overlaid). I figure its probably a safe bet that Leo doesn't want some random channel ripping off his content so I thought I'd point this out.
  9. Yes, because I worry that they'll think I'm into some freaky cult shit if I send them actualized videos. I don't know many people who wouldn't be freaked out by how radical Leo's content is. Most of my family is stage blue types.
  10. I've seen people on reddit call these these analogues trash for what it's worth.
  11. The one thing that is worth mentioning about weed is that different methods of ingestion and different strains and individual variance is huge. so trying it once won't necessarily give you good results regardless. it takes substantial experimentation to find which methods actually get good results for you. Bad weed highs are pretty unpleasant. But either way, insisting Leo tries weed is like insisting someone with a motorcycle gives riding a bicycle a try. He's pretty far beyond needing it.
  12. I found it interesting that that video has so many more views than the other recent videos. Most of them tend to settle around 50k views give or take 10-30k with most taking a year or more before they'll start to tick over 100k, but the social matrix video leaped up to 300k pretty quickly. Maybe just having the word Matrix in the title made the algorithm share it with more people since searches for "Matrix" are probably higher than usual due to the upcoming fourth Matrix movie.
  13. It wont happen federally for a while but I think it's very possible that decriminalization at the municipal level in Vancouver could happen within a year or two.
  14. @Loba Do you find consuming that much has has any side effects for you? I found that unpleasant side effects would build up over time the more i used it. and even now that I no longer use it as often as i used to, it still feels like every time i smoke it reignites some of those side effects. Lately for instance I found an amazing strain that was initially giving me incredible personal insights, and awesome closed eye visual effects, some of the best I'd ever come across, but then it exacerbated my tinnitus and made the pressure in my ears feel all fucked up which ruined it for me.
  15. @Loba totally nailed it. I find all this to be the case with high THC sativas. For me they put me in contemplation mode where I can deeply absorb information and contemplate everything. other kinds of weed DO NOT WORK for this, nothing wrong with indicas or low THC/high CBD cannabis if you just want a bit of chilling out or want to socialize or fall asleep quickly or whatever else it does for you. But the psychedelic power that high THC sativa strains put me in simply not present in other types of weed (or even low-quality sativas). I pulled myself out of years long suicidal depression by using it in this way. The downside is that its difficult to take action on things in your life if you're high all the time, and if youre high all the time then you also build tolerance which majorly dulls the effects youre desiring in the first place. This is where you can get spiritually blocked up and your growth can be halted. And if you find yourself in this place there's no other option but to quit or take a very long break.
  16. just eat them. i did lemon tek a couple times and it made the nausea worse because having an empty stomach full of lemon juice is not exactly pleasant. Or get 4-aco-dmt and boof that, it's almost the same as mushrooms for most people.
  17. One thing I've noticed about social media and online forums is that unless they have a really specific reason for it the people who post the most frequently tend to have less healthy relationships with the medium. that ocd-like urge to maintain a cycle of posting and checking your responses and posting some more can become extremely addictive. And then because you spend so much time there you become really attached and take it more seriously than the rest of the users while simultaneously coming across to new users like you know what you're talking about because you're such a regular. I've struggled with this in online communities in the past and have largely completely altered how I interact online because of it. It's a tough balance to strike for some people.
  18. From what i've learned it's an extremely fiendish stim high. very similar to something like Adderall, but with the smoking ritual, long duration, and slow building tolerance making it more addictive. Doesn't sound enjoyable to me at all tbh, even too much coffee makes me feel overstimulated. the "try it once and you get addicted for life" attitude seems like "Just Say No" anti-drug propaganda to me. That being said, I'm not gonna try that shit haha.
  19. Planning on rewatching the series, and watching these commentaries for the first time before the 4th one comes out.
  20. These popped up on my recommended feed the other day. Because NGT is exactly the guy who I'd trust with drug knowledge.
  21. Leo going on Rogan would certainly be a fascinating several hours, mainly for how Joe and his audience would react to the things Leo talks about. But there's no way a conversation with Joe would come remotely close to the depth that the TOE interviews reached.
  22. Great conversation. The first interview seemed like they were still settling in to how to best go about things so some of it was a bit clunky, but this one flowed fantastic. Leo and Curt have developed a nice chemistry together. I was crying at the same point that they cried and didn't know that they were crying too until I looked at the screen, that was a beautiful moment.
  23. it always loads quickly for me. only had issues maybe two or three times in the whole time ive been coming here.
  24. Doesn't look like it's available for me at the moment. But I'll keep my eyes peeled. If Leo's vid makes it more popular then maybe it'll get sold more widely after word spreads. the non-5-meo version, n,n-MALT does seem to be around though. I wonder if n,n-MALT is to 5-meo-MALT what n,n-DMT is to 5-meo-DMT. I'm not gonna be the guinea pig on that one though.
