In the 1980s porn was difficult to come by. You might have to drive to the local adult book store, buy a VHS tape, and humiliate yourself, and then toss it out after feeling guilty for watching it. Nowadays with a few clicks of the mouse you can easily browse and view an enormous amount of porn in a short period of time, and then easily delete your browsing history to destroy the evidence. I would like websites to force users to prove their age. If you had to make a credit card charge to a porn site would you do it? It is bad news. Stay away. How would you feel about your mother or sister performing it?

I had my first crush when I was almost 30 years old. So basically it seemed like I had loving feelings for someone I didn't know very well with minimal communication not involving a personal friendship. It went on for 2 years. At the moment of first crush, time seemed to slow way down, she glowed in white light, and it felt like we always knew each other. Is that usual the experience? She ended communication when I told her about it. That was the only time I cried over a woman.

@Preety_India I think I have a problem getting close to women and all people in general for some reason. I am trying to identify that. Maybe I would benefit from a sex therapist such as Denise in Survivor season 25, or maybe that would just be a waste if I couldn't identify the underlining problem. I just have a little bit of Asperger's so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Carrie Fisher who played Princess Leia in Star Wars did amazingly well with her diagnosis, shock treatments and all, my hero.

The statistics do not look good for people with autistic spectrum disorder, 90% remain virgins. After reading what you wrote though, it seems like I shouldn't use that as an excuse. I don't think my childhood religion served me with all its sex shaming either. Leo says don't play the role of the victim. There is a popular spiritual book that says: "I am not a victim of the world I see." It sort of seemed like you were judging me, but maybe that was just my projection.

Yes, I have had bipolar disorder since around 2000 or so. I work with psychiatrists who help me with my medication. Psychiatrists don't just give anyone shock therapy treatments. OK, you have a point. Carrie Fisher was very successful with her diagnosis. At age 3 or 4 I was diagnosed with autism, but I've done so well as an adult that the psychologist gave me a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. To be fair though, I think people with Asperger's syndrome have a lower chance of finding love.

I have just a mild case of Asperger's syndrome and a bad case of bipolar disorder which runs in the family. As far as relationships go, I've only been involved with unrequited love. My 30s came and went without any lover. I am so curious what actual love making is like with a real partner, but am not sure if middle-aged sex is all that great. I would like to add that activity to my bucket list if possible. I think I am good looking except for being bald. Are there a lot of lonely disabled virgins out there?

Does nofap refer to abstaining from all masturbation, or just masturbating while viewing porn? I'm not sure if I had the correct definition. I wasn't referring to masturbating while watching porn (I'm against that), just simple self-love. Some men have difficulty finding a partner due to physical or mental disabilities. Maybe they are physically unattractive. Involuntary celibates do exist. Should they give up orgasms? I suspect that sometimes sexual repression leads to sexual crime, such as priests that molest children. I suppose it is possible that those that don't masturbate aren't forced to "give up" anything because they don't crave it in the first place. I don't crave meat and "give up" nothing because I don't like it.

I have been off meat for 15 years and don't crave it at all. My siblings are big meat eaters. I think some people definitely crave it more than others. I think my tolerance to violence is much lower now.

What is so wrong with physical expressions of love, including physical expressions of self love? Aren't they beautiful?

I'm starting to sense that the world is a state of consciousness. If you believe that we are all one or have experienced nirvana, why would we choose to have the world end in war and destruction? It seems bizarre that a country would launch a missile at another. Would you shoot yourself in the foot?
