What it feels like should ideally be based on some direct awareness, but, yes, once awareness has contacted it, interpretations and feelings may vary. It could be a luminous series of beams like from an omnipresent white sun or the shining darkness of an ocean outside of the island of sensory light one is grounded on. Any color you add to it is just another part of the dream, as opposed to the deep dreamlessness that exists outside and inside the dream at all times, timelessly and boundlessly yet simultaneously in time and space. It's the Emptiness that transcends but which is inseparable from Everythingness, but all qualities (like white sunlight or an oceanic darkness) we ascribe to it are more properly referred to as pieces of the Everythingness that we use analogically to consider the properties of the Empty and transcendently free Void. -

@Oeaohoo While I'm inclined to agree, how does (seemingly paradoxically) criticizing "a convergence towards the universal hegemony of atomised globalism" solve the collectivity-individuality duality? I understand how a more hierarchical "feudal" society has more definition in its image, and yet what is the most important positive aspect we're supposed to be organizing ourselves around, instead of just moving away from hegemonic postmodern? What is non-hegemony and a pre-Fall pre-modern state supposed to appear like once the deterioration of this cycle is complete? Also some of your comments could be misinterpreted as racist, xenophobic, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, classist, antisemitic, etc. Care to contextualize that better? -

@Vibroverse It's not black or white or even gray. It's just Nothing, total transparency, devoid of all sensation in a transcendent realm, while still permeating all forms as the formlessness which fits in all of them. -
I would argue you're aware of a higher-level picture he was not, but overall the actual mechanisms and the structures of dreams and unconscious processes and archetypal material were mapped way better by him than by you, which is a broader image.

@Someone here Black is like nighttime: it's the unknown, the unseen, the shadows, the invisible, the out-of-consciousness. At night, everything is more difficult to see under a lens of obscurity. When you lose contact with all of the outside world by shutting your eyes and not really viewing anything, you see a black screen or shifting behind-eyelids colors or whatnot (maybe you'll have visions). That's why people associate blackness with night, shadows, sleep, closed eyelids, and since people have a difficult time becoming aware of actual Nothingness, they're left with this pseudo-Nothingness, they think of the closest thing they have to Nothingness (sleep) but have a hard time thinking about what sleep actually is (because deep dreamlessness is something they can't truly be aware of); so they associate it with the next closest thing (falling asleep or looking behind your eyelids so that you are effectively but not technically blind). If you want to actually "see" Nothingness, since we're using the traits of various colors, try analyzing all of your visual field, all of the colors. Then move to your peripheral vision. Then move outside of your peripheral vision! You'll notice that there's Nothing there, just a Void. And hopefully you'll be able to recognize that that same Void is inside your visual field as well and is the substance of all of reality. -

This is just a problem of you not being directly aware of what it is. It's not black: people just think of it as black because that's what they might see when they close their eyes to sleep at night, which they associate with the idea of nothingness or unconsciousness or a void. But the real thing is complete colorless and infinitely unqualifiable Emptiness. -
? I thought he was Green. Does that make me . . .

Yeah, the main problem with his MBTI obsession is that he's completely ignorant of Jungian psychology.

I think his memory is, in a sense, no longer his, since it is just another phenomenon/quality that is happening/existing. His identity with it has stopped, even if the memory holds his reality together as a system. -

It is possible to be alive and dead simultaneously. But this is a genuine awakening. It reminds me of various schizophrenics that claim that they have committed suicide. Obviously it's difficult for other people to believe that they've committed suicide, but it seems very likely to me that they have, that the mind (the ego?) is able to be killed and leave the body intact. There is no more Witness and Witnessed; there is just the Witnessing, no, just the objects of reality themselves. No, there aren't even objects or quantities anymore, because no space or separation of space is possible, so we're left with bare reality, bare qualities, life and death merged together as one harmonious (or apparently disharmonious) being of self-existent Nothing and Everythingness. -

We're alone here on earth. Most of these sightings have earthly explanations like technical phenomena internal to the camera and such. Maybe I'm biased though against the idea of aliens here because it seems to invalidate or lessen our own experiences, which would be quite primitive in comparison. If they were here, a lot of ideas like "invasion" or "abduction" or "human rights" and whatnot would not apply at all, simply because they'd be so advanced neurologically and personally (or impersonally) to where we can't even conceive their consciousness and their procedures. Putting them in our terms would be primitive, ignorant, absurd, useless, even a mistake. I don't see the relevance of speculations, unless you have genuine intuitions about what they're like; but most of the "intuitions" about this are just non-genuine nonsense. My intuition, genuine I hope / think, says we're alone completely. Even individual humans amongst use are alone. The solution for our development has to come from within our own human nature and not from "cooperation" with nonsense. -

There is an order and harmony to the universe. The universe is structured and is clearly leading somewhere in a way that is not 50/50 but rather has specific inclinations, like a flower vine growing toward sunlight. We have all the minerals and rocks of the world, then all the plants and lesser organisms of the world, and then human beings themselves, which are the most complex and conscious structures yet. It seems we're leading somewhere, getting pulled into a divine sunlight which might destroy our selves or recreate them in a universal bliss and individual luminescence. The Daniel M. Ingram model of meditation has stages that happen cyclically, and the dark night of the soul is one of them. So it's not necessarily just a bridge that you cross to reach the light a single time, but an event as a pattern that recurs also with the light as something that recurs. -

It's a duality of status vs. dynamism, or essence vs. action, or existence vs. process. So they're abstracted from each other, where Being is the simple existing presence that doesn't emphasize motion or work, whereas Doing is more motional, working, active, dynamic. -

Maya exists because that's what it is, existence as we know it. It's the manifestation of form: space and time. Not all spaces have to be pleasant to encounter, not all times have to be sufferable or endurable, and not all of form is luminous, but can also be dark at points, because there's no reason that reality must stay reasonable; for reality can veer off into reasonless insanity and evil at any moment if it so chooses. This is all for the metaphysical fact that all dualities are created out of the Void to be Loved, and this happens regardless of what occurs with certain forms disagreeing with each other, or engaging in acts of suffering with each other. If you want to call it an illusion, it exists as an expression of a higher Reality, a higher Absolute, a higher "non-illusion" we call Infinite Light. -
Music is an art form, so complex to where you can't produce a formula for it.

Metaphysics can easily unravel into a mess of linguistic confusions, but infinite possibilities create, in perception, a single actuality, because that single actuality only may exist by itself---or else it wouldn't maintain its structure. So obviously that's why one reality appears to us and not, say, twelve different realities that all infringe upon each other's rules / patterns / forms. But still there are abstractly infinite possibilities, because formlessness is compatible with all forms or infinity with all finites. If other actualities besides this one exist to match all of those possibilities, then they are inaccessible because yours and them are both equally infinitely "sovereign" as Leo would say. -
