Me and my partner have been in what I'll describe as a "successful relationship" for the past 10 years. So, here's my perspective: 1. We do see each other as "soulmates" or whatever, but we're not attached to labels. 2. When we started dating, I was on hard drugs and she was on the brink of suicide, so I'd say we were even "below average" on your scale. However, we've commited to make it work. If I could simplify and extract the most important keys of what made this relationship work, I'd say: no ego games, authentic and honest communication (be open and vulnerable), and LOTS of shadow work (both individually and together). Healthy communication and collaborative inner work builds a feedback loop of inspiring and pushing each other forward. This is of course, a very rough over-simplification, and there's a lot more to say about this topic. Yes, there are conflicts and hard times, but as others have said here, conflicts are not bad, just be honest and try to resolve conflicts consciously without falling into ego traps and biases. This is how you grow as a couple. Also, I'll say again that this is only my perspective, and I understand that different relationships work for different people.

Beware of falling into the trap of trying to conceptualise consciousness. If you want to be more conscious, "A Course In Miracles" is a simple, no-bullshit guide for that. There's also a bunch of practical exercises online you can do to raise your consciousness. -

@SirVladimir Great job! I'm really excited for this new genre. It amazes me how the greatest innovations are found at the edges between different fields. I've read "The Pocket Universe" in the free PDF and it was mind-blowing. I'll definitely get the book. Have you considered making an audiobook version with the background music suggested for each story? In my opinion, listening is sometimes easier than reading when you're in an altered state of consciousness.

I made a habit of listening to personal development content in the form of audiobooks, podcasts and YouTube videos every time I'm driving or jogging. I feel like consuming this type of content while doing tasks that don't require much of your conscious focus is optimal if you don't have much free time. Of course, I try to make some time for other mediums as well, but this is the main one for me.

I'm reading this one now and it has already made a huge positive difference in my level of wellbeing. It's great because it takes you from a point where you know nothing about nutrition (it assumes you're on the mainstream American diet) and it teaches you the highest leverage factors for good health and how to apply them. I can't recommend this book enough

Awesome thread, everyone! Some of these ideas are really inspiring. Here are some of mine, which have been sitting in my idea dump note for a while: VR (or AR) app that immerses you in relaxing environments, with nature sounds and meditation music, where you can meditate and practice mindfulness. Mobile Biofeedback/Neurofeedback apps and games. Holistic personal development content, which combines spirituality, business, relationships, health, etc. Kinda like actualized.org, but this content can be communicated via diverse platforms, such as books, art, TV shows, games, etc. Mindfulness games (like Deepak Chopra's Leela). 1-on-1 addiction coaching (subtle addictions too! There's not enough help with those). AI software (or a real person) that helps you figure out your personal development plan based on your strengths and weaknesses, personality type, level of development (Spiral Dynamics and EDT), wheel of life (which areas need more focus), etc. Helps you set goals and habits, track them and hold you accountable. Can also help expose you to the content and resources that are right for you. As you can see, most of these are related to software development, but I don't do that anymore, so all these ideas are up for grabs. Hope this inspires someone
