There is no answer to this question. Reality is an endless mystery. And it will remain like that forever. Its up to you to think of this as a negative thing or positive thing . -

@Holykael go ahead and believe whatever you want . You are not listening. It's like I'm talking to a robot .you show no capacity to inspect and liberate yourself from suffering. -

@Holykael you know what ? I like you and part of the reason why because I was just like you only few months ago . And now I'm back to my sanity again . you need a body? You can exist without a body. You do that in deep sleep and you don't seem annoyed at all. But this body seems to bring you a trouble after a trouble isn't it? perfection is not found in the world of change. The ultimate.. Happiness.. Peace freedom.. Love.. Joy.. Perfection.. Etc what all of us deeply crave and is the ultimate aim of all our seeking is NOT found in the relative world. That is to say nothing in the world of time and space.. No object in time and space or feeling or experience no matter how fulfilling it is.. Is going to make you liberated. Because it's also subject to time. To impermanence. To loss. To time and space. Everything in the relative world.. Is relative! If one seeks the absolute one must step outside of time and space... Forget about the world of form all together forget about all your thoughts and judgments and likes and dislikes.. Meditation is the only way to go. Only through total and complete let go of one's sense of self and judgment is it possible to find perfection. The present moment already is perfect and it's never going to be anything else. The mind comes in and spoil that with judgements and fear to keep your ego alive. Which is the barrier to realize that you are already free.. Already perfect. Already whole and complete. Rather than feeling pointless, you can feel glad and privileged to part of these extraordinary things - the body of humanity, the biosphere, the Earth, the solar system. You are ultimately a tiny part of the expression of each of these entities. The nice aspect of this is that, since you (like me) are apparently not especially good at anything or capable of making much of a needed contribution to the world, we can sit back and enjoy watching it unfold without undue pressure of responsibility. Personal and local level assistance rendered to others is always an option and often happens naturally through the usual interactions of life anyway. -

First of all.. Recognize that you take this present moment for granted. Recognize the miracle right before your eyes that you take completely for granted. Because you think it came from a past via a mechanism somehow from somewhere at some when. All these are groundless. =the present moment is completely mysterious and unexplainable. It just is what it is. You think it's not fresh it's not the "first" present moment. But it is. Also you take it for granted because you have some nice bullshit stories that explain it away. You think you are living on a earth.. In some solar system.. In some universe.in some multiverse.. . In God knows where. but you don't recognize that this infinite regress is indeed infinite. Which means you are again "nowhere". Just now here. Going in nature can be quite insightful. If you pet some trees. You can notice the connection between everything. You can see how these trees are literally yourself. Try to say hi to the trees as you walk past them. People will call you nutcase but say hi to them too . Try to notice everything as yourself. It's easier to try this exercise in nature. Plants. Trees. Animals. Sea etc because these things are beautiful and attractive. Try to feel into the beauty of them and notice that this is YOUR beauty. This is your creation. This is YOU Period. Now imagine If you can train this capacity to include the whole universe. Such that you cough love into everything. literally every piece of existence is yourself. It's one thing to hear this or to understand this and it's different to actually grasp this in your own experience via your own method. Do whatever it takes to get there but you gotta get there. -

Obviously by definition its complete absence of existence then it can't be described. I agree. It's after you wake up that you call the sleep was great . But you have folks like Ramana Maharshi who claim that even in deep sleep awareness is still there . Evident by if you yell at a sleeping person he can hear you and wake up. Haha . I guess we all agree that a rock had no conscious mind. Because we only attribute conscious mind or sentience to living organic life forms . -
Rocks just lay on the ground. We can throw them or hit them .but Since they are lifeless and mindless.. the throwing or the hitting on the ground does not affect them. So.. if you are a rock..yes..you may not have any fun..but you will not have any issues as well. My point basically is that if there were no mind there wouldn't be a sense of self..and no backstory .now that might sound like an idea only for some kinds of buddhist extremists only. But I realized the happiest state of existence Is when you are deep asleep. Nothing beats this sweet nothingness of a good night sleep . I know I'm just speculating when it comes to the rock's ability to experience stuff .we don't know if even rock's have a primitive chunk of consciousness. But let's just assume that rocks are unconscious lol. Anyone can relate to what I'm saying?

You must transcend the good/evil duality and realize Absolute Goodness. God has no problem being burned for eternity. Only the ego has a problem. Kill the ego .and realize nirvanic bliss . -

@Holykael you are God. Haven't you noticed that when you are in such deep deep suffering that when you just give up and surrender your suffering ends? -
I use a app called edjing mix to mix songs and create my own music. It's a whole different story when you actually listen to a song from your making . I'm addicted to music lol. When you listen to music.. multiple areas of your brain become engaged and active. But when you actually play an instrument .. that activity becomes more like a full-body brain workout. Playing an instrument is definitely your go-for hobby to get smarter. Almost every smart and famous person played an instrument: Einstein played piano for instance.

@Holykael if you do the work and awaken you will understand that there is more to you than these emotions so they can't possibly overwhelm you. Your being is greater than the emotions so you could never drown in them since they arise in you. -

Absolute truth is direct experience. Relative Truth is conceptual knowledge. From the absolute perspective..Obviously nothing .but only relative to society's standards. -

@Selfnaught wonderful contemplating It is relatively easy to answer using old Taoist terminology: “The Tao that can be named is not the true Tao”. the truth is hard to find precisely because it is hiding in plain sight. if we were to see truth as is truly is we would need to pass though some Gateless Gates. As they call them . So how can you realize the truth when you ARE IT ?!! You see ? It's like a fish looking for water. -

I have no beginning or end . I was never born..shall never die ..and won't perish for ever and ever. I Cosplay as a human now . I really want to feel like what a rock feels . How do you think a rock experiences the world? But what happens when you reach the pinnacle of consciousness? Doesn't it circle back to its lowest state (everything goes full circle). So the highest state of consciousness ever I would imagine as a infinitely intense light . If it is too much light you can't see .just like when it's too much darkness you can't see . I looked at it. How is my hand a rock? Isn't that obvious that it's not ? Or perhaps you have some explanation to do . -

There is some truth to what you are saying . It's in retrospect that we realise sleep is the best state . But the complete absence of all qualia cannot be called anything other than pure consciousness or pure bliss with zero interruption. Isn't Buddha mind or no mind what's traditional Buddhism teach? So awakening to the Buddha means the cessation of all mental activity. Even in meditation you can't achieve that . But you can achieve it perfectly in deep sleep . And trust me ..too much consciousness is a curse. Thank god that we are not aware of subtle things like the sounds of ants when they argue about who gets to eat the sugar tonight lol ? ?? -

Agreed. If reality is infinite it will always escape from any attempt to encapsulate it . What I'm contemplating recently is : is there an absolute truth ?how can Something be absolutely true in an infinite reality? -

There is no unconditional love in the whole universe and anyone tells that he loves unconditionally is a naked liar. Even love of parents depends on our morality and our treatment towards them and there are so many families hating their bad kids. In Islam..god loves all his creatures because he created them all by his Majesty . And God is always providing all of his creatures of air. oxygen wate..food light and all other needs ( that is a kind of love) But after that he expects that his creatures to obey him and to follow his guidelines to be qualified to enter his heavens. So he gave guidance to all which is the quran. So the gate of Allah's love is open to all his creatures can enter his love kingdom but by their freewill .he will not force anyone to obey him and to follow his guidelines . So God's love is available and possible to anyone from any country from any race from any color from any nationality from any age from any gender. You just have to submit to him /it. Just please read the quran. You will find all this mentioned there in a very delicate and eloquent way . -

I don't have all the answers. Give me a week or two to finish my research on Islam. -
Someone here replied to Hojo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No . It simply teaches that you should not have sex out of wedlock. And you can actually marry 4 women if you like . Whether or not Islam "fools them with the carrot of pussy in the afterlife " depends on whether Islam is true or not . Otherwise there is literally nothing wrong about it . Better than the fucking boring Christian heaven where you praise and bow to Jesus for eternity. -

Ibn arabi is great . Also Rumi .and Mansur al-Hallaj who was crucified because he said "I am the Truth " and he meant by that that he is Allah . The quran is boring if you read it translated into any language. Only listen to it in Arabic with English subtitles and you will be good to go . If you want of course. -
Someone here replied to Hojo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Breakingthewall did you read or listen to the quran before? Even Just out of curiosity ..because this religion is part of the spiritual cuisine that our ancestors have left .like Buddhism and Hinduism etc -

You obviously insulted them ,my love . "Those stinky primitive Muslims with micro penis who want to fuck bitches in the heaven 24/7 and Allah and his angels will witness that " right? There is nothing wrong (morality wise) with having sex with gorgeous women in the paradise . Unless you are sexually repressed. The afterlife has its own rules and even its own moral code . Just like how this life we are alive in right now has its rules . I'm not an expert in Islam. But I just feel safe and soothed (almost like taking a shower of love ) whenever I hear the quran . I will be announcing my conversion to Islam here soon. But I have to make up my mind first . -
Someone here replied to Hojo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Breakingthewall even worse that you know that. .you insulted ALL Muslims from all races. That says a lot about you as a human being .
