Consciousness is not abstract . Consciousness is literally everything that you are experiencing right now . So if you asked me to point to Consciousness..I can simply point at any thing in my visual field and that would be me pointing at Consciousness. The subconscious on the other hand is what's abstract like a thought. And of course you can't point to it . Now Of course.. I do use the word “unconscious” ..but only to describe certain conditions or the quality of my or other people's behaviours. I might tell you that “John is currently unconscious”.. for the sake of describing his present condition. Or I might tell you that “Last night..at that party.. I was behaving rather unconsciously”.. all in an effort to have my behaviour be excused as that is not how I usually am. However..all in all..the idea that the mind is inherently divided into three or any number of parts does not resonate with me. In fact.. to me..finding certain activities happening rather unconsciously within yourself would be the equivalent of you simply walking down the road with your eyes closed. That's it. You're unconscious for as long as you keep your eyes closed..but inherently speaking you are a full blown Conscious-Mind and nothing less. -

Well..Can you point to it ? -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
We could argue about this endlessly. The bottom line is this ..when you see an object..the very act of seeing it is created by you or your brain if you will ..it's like the classic "if a tree falls in the woods and there was no one around observing it ..then does it make a sound ?". Quantum Physics literally shows the electrons are being made by the act of observation. Also..there is no such thing as the subconscious mind . Because dreams aren't created by unconscious mind ..but via consciousness. Just like the waking state. If you realize you are 100% responsible for creating everything around you ..then you should be careful with polluting your mind with toxic ideas because that will make them more likely to happen . That's my advice to Holykael . -

@Ulax why are you a nihilist? -
It's something I highly recommend if you care about living a chilled out relaxing and dope kinda life. I recently started playing soft jazzy music on speakers (Christmas themed because I'm a sucker like that lol)..just to have some background music in my apartment. This might only be helpful if you live somewhere quiet (in my casetoo quiet). It's soothing and actually puts me in a good mood.

awakening is just Nihilism taken to its ultimate conclusion. Heard of Schopenhauer ? He was a nihilist. And like every nihilist he believed that human existence is a mistake or something that is not ought to be. And it's like he is not pulling this stuff out of his ass ...he basically dealed with the problem of suffering. But I'm saying life is worth living If you read through the entire thread. Yes life is pointless and filled with suffering. But only when you are in ego mode resisting everything. When you surrender you will be completely satisfied. -

Mostly using intellect. intellectual awakening..is taking one of the many forms of cognition ..namely reason..and elevating it above everything else.. using it to reach truths of reality by oneself.. or..being intellectually awakened to truths of reality through your very own logical capabilities.. which is possible. You don't need profound degrees of awakening to understand that God doesn't give a fuck if you have sex with a goat or if you murder someone for no reason. -

About what exactly? -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
God is ABSOLUTELY INFINITE! Do you fathom this? There is INFINITE deepness. It goes on forever. In all directions and all dimensions. Every fucking detail of every fucking thing in every single fucking place or time or different dimension...... Exists. Do you fathom this? Ofcourse no. I don't as well. As much. Just as a cute example... There are infinite more colors than you can see now in this current dimension. -

Life is just God Trolling himself infinitely. -

God designed humans in such a way that the same place they enjoy sex from Is the same place they relieve their waste from . God is a troll. -

If that was the case you couldn't exist. But here you are existing. Therefore you did want to be created. What makes you think you are not consciously creating existence? Inspect any object around you ..aren't you projecting it out if your eyes as you look at it ? Science literally tells us that conscious observation creates reality . -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
its precisely because god is good that he created that abusive father . You see ..an abusive father is a potential possibility within infinity ..and its yelling at god (metaphor):"created me ..please ". And god won't be good if he didn't allow for that possibility to exist. And existence is better than nonexistence. It is the case .you are creating reality just like how you create your dreams at night . My point is that yes ..depression and negative emotions are inevitable. But you are only doubling down on them when you view them with negativity instead of being artistic in your approach and treat even the worst kind of sadness a gift from God. -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Obvious. Because it is one And singular..no one is sitting outside of reality telling it how it should be . Therefore reality is pure goodness. It chooses goodness because that's what you would choose if you are infinite and singular . Why would you choose to be bad or evil ? You see ? God/reality is ultimately selfless because its everything. So from the highest perspective everything is good because its nesscary. If something isn't Good ..it simply could not exist . Now its important to differentiate between goodness and happiness or pleasure. Those are subsets of Absolute Goodness. Being depressed is extremely beautiful if you know how to be properly depressed. Which is what @Holykael is not able to do . you can turn anything into a blessing . -

Again..there is a difference between goodness and Goodness. What you call good is not what Goodness actually is . Goodness is synonymous with reality . Why ? Because it created itself through the strangeloop that is consciousness. Look at your fucking hands ..this is utterly remarkable and miraculous that anything exists at all . If you develop your consciousness more and more you will realise that even sadness has its own beauty and necessity. Don't you enjoy listening to sad and melancholic songs when you are depressed? -

There is no answer to this question. Reality is an endless mystery. And it will remain like that forever. Its up to you to think of this as a negative thing or positive thing . -

@Holykael go ahead and believe whatever you want . You are not listening. It's like I'm talking to a robot .you show no capacity to inspect and liberate yourself from suffering. -

@Holykael you know what ? I like you and part of the reason why because I was just like you only few months ago . And now I'm back to my sanity again . you need a body? You can exist without a body. You do that in deep sleep and you don't seem annoyed at all. But this body seems to bring you a trouble after a trouble isn't it? perfection is not found in the world of change. The ultimate.. Happiness.. Peace freedom.. Love.. Joy.. Perfection.. Etc what all of us deeply crave and is the ultimate aim of all our seeking is NOT found in the relative world. That is to say nothing in the world of time and space.. No object in time and space or feeling or experience no matter how fulfilling it is.. Is going to make you liberated. Because it's also subject to time. To impermanence. To loss. To time and space. Everything in the relative world.. Is relative! If one seeks the absolute one must step outside of time and space... Forget about the world of form all together forget about all your thoughts and judgments and likes and dislikes.. Meditation is the only way to go. Only through total and complete let go of one's sense of self and judgment is it possible to find perfection. The present moment already is perfect and it's never going to be anything else. The mind comes in and spoil that with judgements and fear to keep your ego alive. Which is the barrier to realize that you are already free.. Already perfect. Already whole and complete. Rather than feeling pointless, you can feel glad and privileged to part of these extraordinary things - the body of humanity, the biosphere, the Earth, the solar system. You are ultimately a tiny part of the expression of each of these entities. The nice aspect of this is that, since you (like me) are apparently not especially good at anything or capable of making much of a needed contribution to the world, we can sit back and enjoy watching it unfold without undue pressure of responsibility. Personal and local level assistance rendered to others is always an option and often happens naturally through the usual interactions of life anyway. -

First of all.. Recognize that you take this present moment for granted. Recognize the miracle right before your eyes that you take completely for granted. Because you think it came from a past via a mechanism somehow from somewhere at some when. All these are groundless. =the present moment is completely mysterious and unexplainable. It just is what it is. You think it's not fresh it's not the "first" present moment. But it is. Also you take it for granted because you have some nice bullshit stories that explain it away. You think you are living on a earth.. In some solar system.. In some universe.in some multiverse.. . In God knows where. but you don't recognize that this infinite regress is indeed infinite. Which means you are again "nowhere". Just now here. Going in nature can be quite insightful. If you pet some trees. You can notice the connection between everything. You can see how these trees are literally yourself. Try to say hi to the trees as you walk past them. People will call you nutcase but say hi to them too . Try to notice everything as yourself. It's easier to try this exercise in nature. Plants. Trees. Animals. Sea etc because these things are beautiful and attractive. Try to feel into the beauty of them and notice that this is YOUR beauty. This is your creation. This is YOU Period. Now imagine If you can train this capacity to include the whole universe. Such that you cough love into everything. literally every piece of existence is yourself. It's one thing to hear this or to understand this and it's different to actually grasp this in your own experience via your own method. Do whatever it takes to get there but you gotta get there. -

Obviously by definition its complete absence of existence then it can't be described. I agree. It's after you wake up that you call the sleep was great . But you have folks like Ramana Maharshi who claim that even in deep sleep awareness is still there . Evident by if you yell at a sleeping person he can hear you and wake up. Haha . I guess we all agree that a rock had no conscious mind. Because we only attribute conscious mind or sentience to living organic life forms . -
Rocks just lay on the ground. We can throw them or hit them .but Since they are lifeless and mindless.. the throwing or the hitting on the ground does not affect them. So.. if you are a rock..yes..you may not have any fun..but you will not have any issues as well. My point basically is that if there were no mind there wouldn't be a sense of self..and no backstory .now that might sound like an idea only for some kinds of buddhist extremists only. But I realized the happiest state of existence Is when you are deep asleep. Nothing beats this sweet nothingness of a good night sleep . I know I'm just speculating when it comes to the rock's ability to experience stuff .we don't know if even rock's have a primitive chunk of consciousness. But let's just assume that rocks are unconscious lol. Anyone can relate to what I'm saying?

You must transcend the good/evil duality and realize Absolute Goodness. God has no problem being burned for eternity. Only the ego has a problem. Kill the ego .and realize nirvanic bliss . -

@Holykael you are God. Haven't you noticed that when you are in such deep deep suffering that when you just give up and surrender your suffering ends? -
I use a app called edjing mix to mix songs and create my own music. It's a whole different story when you actually listen to a song from your making . I'm addicted to music lol. When you listen to music.. multiple areas of your brain become engaged and active. But when you actually play an instrument .. that activity becomes more like a full-body brain workout. Playing an instrument is definitely your go-for hobby to get smarter. Almost every smart and famous person played an instrument: Einstein played piano for instance.

@Holykael if you do the work and awaken you will understand that there is more to you than these emotions so they can't possibly overwhelm you. Your being is greater than the emotions so you could never drown in them since they arise in you.
