What do you mean "simple answers "? The Qu’ran offers clear-cut answers to all big existential questions. And the concept of God In Islam is the only spiritual tradition that is so close to what Leo teaches. Thanks man. -

You are absolutely right. I need to think this through before taking such decision.thanks . I don't need Islamic guru btw . In Islam you follow the quran and the teachings/sayings of Muhammad and you don't deviate from them. All other religions don't make any sense . Buddhism is almost atheism .and Christianity is ridiculous because of this whole trinity nonsense. Hinduism believes in millions of gods . Only Islam makes sense . -

@Phil King from where did you get your information about Islam? -

Good message. Thank you ? Well..all I can say is that I can be a muslim and still maintain everything in my life .I can be open minded about other religious beliefs and different cultures. The reason Islam has captured me is because Islam offers an answer for almost every thing : why is there good and evil? why are we here ?why me ,what happens next ,what's s life what's death who are we ?and all of these things -

Look Guys ..I said clearly in OP that I don't have all the answers. I'm still researching this stuff and fitting the puzzles together. So give me a breathing room. -

I know ..truth and gods love must be inclusive and not exclusive..Islam says only believers go to gods heaven. But there might be an explanation for that that I'm not yet aware of . Please be respectful. -

That's indeed something that makes one skeptical about Islam. Like I said I'm still a noob. I don't have an explanation for every apparent "error "in the quran . Islam believes that God is omnipresent. It's a metaphor. Probably. Lol I'm dead serious. -

Islam for me is the most rational and logical religion I read about..I I studied Quran for awhile . you will be shocked when you notice how's the Quran is modern in it's information about almost everything..embryology and astronomy for example. So my intuition tells me that it's true .I feel safe whenever I hear the quran recited in Arabic. That's about it And yes I'm ready to do all the obligations of this religion. -

Well..the essence of of Islam is the oneness of God. Leo does acknowledge that. But the part that might trip Muslims up is the idea that they themselves are God..the quean is strict about that God is not a human being . So actually Leo's take on Islam is flawed and in contradiction with the teaching of Islam. Not taking sides here or saying who is right and who is wrong ..just saying it as it is . -

I don't understand what you're saying. -

Reality is inherently good and unconditional love. The ultimate destination of all of creation is to merge back into God's love . But you need to awaken to understand this . -

What if I told that reality is a game and there is nothing to lose and you gonna inevitably win at the end ? Do you believe that ? -

Because it's more interesting. Would you rather play an easy video games at a beginner level or play a challenging video game ? Which is more fun ? -

Just say "thanks lord " for not having a tumor in your brain that makes you a pedophile . -

That's true . Cats and dogs and donkeys etc don't have an evolved brain cortex like what humans have. So again..you are attributing the capacity to comprehend and the ability to understand to evolved brains like that of a human . I thought brains have nothing to do with understanding. What is understanding anyways? And why very few people like scientists and philosophers have curiousty to understand reality ? I'm one of these few . In school I loved studying physics and chemistry etc.all other boys were only curious about video games and hitting on girls lol ..but me i was studying and thoroughly enjoyed it . -

Maybe. But isn't that full fledged materialism? To assume inanimate objects don't have understanding .or consciousness can only arise from brains.. then we can show that anything that doesn't have a brain is not consciousness. -

Of course. There is also "creepiness "..which is the feeling people often associate with fear. It's somewhat different. The chill you feel on the back of your neck..or the urge to look away from something is "the creeps". But Your mind doesn't know the difference. Its always analysing things "Is it a threat..or is it harmless?" Most things that people are "scared" of.. just really creep them out. True fear isn't something that most people experience in their daily lives. But thats a privilege to live in a safe part of the world . It can be a huge eye-opener if you watch a documentary about how kids suffer in Africa for example. -

Explain yourself. It is never easy to understand why someone attempts suicide.. and the reasons are varied and complex. Often suicide involves emotional or physical pain that someone finds to be unbearable and leaves them feeling as if there is no escape. -

Like what @Inliytened1 said ..fear is what keeps you alive .if you didn't fear being hit by a bus you wouldn't look around to check if the road is safe to cross . -

@Leo Gura I have the same thoughts regarding suicide. Its like You still have an attachment for life . Killing the body is no guarantee of less suffering t. That’s a projection-based story you’re telling yourself. Do you want to deal with suffering in an existence you understand and can control..or are you feeling lucky and ready to gamble? It’s all just a guessing game really. -

Beautiful post! Exactly what I needed to hear. I recently had an experience that changed my way of thinking about things. It was such an intense understanding that I knew I had to start living my life this way. Every day I am improving on integrating that understanding into my life and my anxiety has really improved because of it. During this process.. I am realizing awakening is such an individual experience and that challenging myself to think in a different way is not always easy. And that's okay! So long as I can recognize and improve every day. Sometimes reading some of the posts on here can be disheartening because so many people hold on so tightly to what they believe is awakening. It made me question if I am just losing my mind or if I am actually on a journey of awakening. What I have come to understand is that we all have different experiences with our journey and are at different stages. There is no right way to become awakened IMO. Yes . there are things to do that definitely support advancement in your journey but those things are there for when each individual is ready to use them. I commend any and all that even show curiosity in awakening because I feel it means they are on their way in their own time. My focus should be on my journey and not to worry about what other people are doing. I can learn from those people and pick out the advice that resonates with me. For me..u know when I feel something in my heart then that is something I may need to consider utilizing in my own journey. Thank you for posting this! ❤ -

Because death is inevitable. When and if it ever It come..it's gonna be the highlight of my life ..I want to die peacefully and eternally ...I realized nothing in this world of samsara can satisfy me . -

Do you mean the excruciating pain that leads to death is the bad thing ? Yes ..but contemplating death can spur us on to make important changes in our lives. It can make us question whether we’re living a life that’s based on our values the things that are important to us. But it can also play the opposite role and make us anxious all the time .expecting our death to be near .
