On point . Perhaps I need to fill my time with healthy habits . That can grow my confidence.

Its not like that but Thanks . I think that anything that comes easy is worthless. social awakardness is a proplem of every single person in 20s .people that make you feel safe are in fact just being dominated by your aura..but I' making the mistake of putting my conception of reality onto the minds of everyone around me . So it's double OK thx Leo ๐

thatโs something Iโve noticed in myself too but couldnโt quite put my finger on it. So would you say there is a inverse function relationship between being stuck in my head and (self conscious) and how i flow effortlessly in socialising? Also how i heal trauma from bullying. My own mind sometimes gives me thoughts of bullying other younger guys who are physically weaker than me .i immediately feel afraid/weak and inferior and retreat to my childhood self. Is there a way to heal this? What can I do to not get triggered by these anymore and develop a stronger self?

I think the fact that Leo doesn't give a fuck and comment on this thread is indicative of how pitty and fruitless all this conceptual masturbation is to him. One is simply either conscious of something or simply he/she is not . Arguing for a million years won't cost a direct insight from concepts. -
@Leo Gura btw I made a thread before asking who's your favourite female pornstar and you locked it . So this is unfair.
-
So basically we are gonna be recommending hot pornstars to each others so that we can wank to them ? Kali Roses . Lexi Belle . Elsa Jean.

How exactly did "Satan " made sex impossible to attain? Apparently there are 8 billion human chimps on this planet ...this equally means there was at least 8 billion sexual intercourse happening. Right ? BTW are you incel ?..Drop this victim mentality and conspiratorial nonsense and get to work. If you want sex ..leave no rock unchecked and do whatever has to be done to get it . -

Honestly i would be lying if I claimed i know definitively what happens exactly after inevitable death of the body . Nobody will ever know except through direct experience of death .and that's the final say in this matter . However...some people who go through NDEs claim to have seen a while light at a end of a tunnel and they met loved ones and they saw their body from above as if their "soul" has risen out of their body . To me death is what makes people even think about these matters and get into spirituality. Because they don't want to accept they die like animals and that's the end of it all . Humans want to live forever in happiness. That's basically our ultimate goal .And that's what the spiritual path promises. -

But everyone and everything inside the dream are in full time job to keep you asleep. Therefore we should respect the dream and live it . Don't worry about waking up ..that's inevitable..as any illusion by its very nature can't sustain itself too much. Im sure You already have seen numerous glitches in the matrix already .the full waking up is death . Solipsism is true from the absolute level possible. But a total horseshit from the most practical level possible. Embrace the paradox. -

Look guys ..it's as easy as breathing.. are you looking through anyone's eyes right now or just your own eyes ? and pleeeeeease answer without cryptosemantics and smartassery ..allow the question to be as innocent and simple as it is .. The answer is of course NO! The follow up question would be then how do you know if there is any other experience happening even in the most close person to you ? In direct experience there is an experience of other people ..but there's no experience of other people's experiences. get that distinction clear . Therefore the most reasonable position to take regarding solipsism is agnosticism. -

I have a few question : Anyone who Is familiar with spirituality and nondual teachings you likely' know' that the sense of individuality or separation is false or illusory. That there isn't an actual separate self inside the organism. Who you think you are is not who you actually are. Who you think are - the ego is literally just a thought. An arising sensation that says "im me here inside this body ". When this thought disappear.. What is left is pure awareness of various perceptions and sensations without any personal relationship to them. Without "my perception and my sensation" identification. My question is.. If there is no you.. Why does it ' seem like ' there is a you..? You can grasp in direct experience that "you" is false identification with thought.. It is not real. Yet it is the most real thing for you. After all what is more real and important to you in your life then yourself? Right? So what exactly is grounding this sense of self? Why does the "I" thought keep arising throughout your whole life even after seeing through the misidentification? And what is the personality ? What makes this body-mind here to have a different personality than that body-mind over there even tho there is no "person" to begin with? What role do memories play in grounding your sense of self? What is the difference between a memory and a thought? Now a whole pack of questions can open up about memory .is the past even real ? No matter where you look you can't find anything but the present and How can we trust our memory if any at all? Etc but I will just stop here. For example your entire life story and who you think you are and how you view yourself and your life is just a thought story.. Mostly memories... But those thoughts are not occurring 24/7.. So once they stop occurring even for a second you are left not knowing who you are and how you got there (interesting huh?). And so what prevents you from losing yourself and going Insane is these stories and memories keep arising to ground your sense of self and reality. Thoughts? -
it's not possible to contemplate without assumptions or preconceived notions. If you start from scratch you will end with scratch. You have to assume that you know something..there has to be a given of some kind.. And you don't know the other side and try to make the ends meet. It's always a deception.. Because the truth is all questions are based on false assumptions. Or these assumptions are not inherent in reality. So when you contemplate and derive an answer it's always going to be a partial answer.. And will always be based on unquestioned assumptions. If you don't assume anything you can't even formulate a question. Lol. So you either accept non-answer to a no questions..or you accept a partial answer that you know is not the whole story. Am I missing something?

I stopped watching porn and smoking for a whole week ..started meditation and exercise daily...waking up early in the morning . I feel extraordinary happy these days . I stopped taking the anxiety medication. And I expected to feel shitty .but I felt normal and balanced. I'm confident to say that I'm finally "happy " after continuing months of misery and pain . And I really got a deep insight into what happiness really. See..if you think you will be happy by doing fun stuff and acquiring material goods ..you can forget about it . Happiness arises naturally when we are in the moment. There is no need for a reason. Look at a child and you can see the happiness that is just there. We destroy the natural joy in us when our thinking is drawn into the past or future again and again ... because we create a dream state and lose the connection with reality here and now. So happiness is a state where you feel free. You are not carrying a burden. Its no effort. It doesnt need a reason. If happiness is rooted in a reason..guess what ?..it wont last long will it? Either the reason goes away and you lose the happiness..or fear creaps in and you lose your happiness. Happiness will never come from fulfilling desire .if there is craving and desires..you feel a lack. When the desire is fulfilled..it just means that the desire is no more.. and thats why you think you feel happy. You feel happy because you are free from the desire .. not because the desire is fulfilled. May all beings be happy and blissful. May all beings discover their true nature. Share your thoughts ..opinions ..questions etc ๐

I don't agree sorry . The ultimate realisation that's really gonna "do it " for you Is realising that YOU are EVERYTHING. YOU are GOD. You have no beginning and have no end. You was never born and you shall never die . This is the ultimate Truth in a nutshell. -

@Javfly33 @Ishanga @Breakingthewall In Buddhism they believe in reincarnation and karma. You keep reincarnating after death until you "pay" all your karma and then you stop and cease to exist completely. That state of cessation and nothingness is called "Nirvana ". It's basically a form of salvation and being free from the sufferings of life. (because according to Buddhism.. life is suffering). I was raised as a Hindu. Hinduism also have moksha . Which is when the self realises its The Self .when the drop realises its the entire ocean and dissolves into infinity . Its also in Hinduism called when atman (the human self ) awakens to the realization that its Brahman (the universal Self or the "all") What do you think of the Buddhist and Hindu narrative? And what is your own definition of Nirvana? Of course anyone is free to comment..maybe Leo or @Princess Arabia or @Davino or @Hojo or @Razard86etc . But I tagged these three members on top because I read them using these terms often and i want to get a full comprehensive idea of how this works . To me..life is not a video game ..with past lives and accumulated karma and shit like that . We just born ..live ..die ..and disappear as a finite human..and then you exist as formless consciousness forever. But then again why the hell shouldn't a limited form exist again ? Bottom line is consciousness is immortal .it can't die in its most basic absolute form .but the details remain a mystery. I guess we all gonna die and find out .or...?

@Princess Arabia are eggs the healthiest form of protein?

@Ishanga @Breakingthewall glad you guys agree . The only caveat I would say is that unfortunately one has to learn this the hard way . They have to fuck up and try hedonistic desires before they realize that that whole approach just doesnt work .they certainly need to awaken to this. im very happy that im happy ..its like im drowning in an infinite sea of love that will melt me. I asked before Some people on reddit who think that happiness is derived from material factors such as wealth... But if it is so..then why do we hear celebrities and wealthy businessmen committing suicide? Because money does not bring happiness. .but up to a certain point beyond which it has no significance. If you are a fortune 500 CEO.. a lottery of $1,000,000 will not amount to much increase in your happiness. The reason I made this thread is because achieving everything that we desire in hope that that's whats gonna lead to happiness is the way 99% of ppl approach happiness.. and not by going inward and find inner peace. Because the classical spiritual teachings in almost all spiritual traditions is Realizing that happiness is totally an inside job (so to speak) and happiness does not depend on anything outside yourself. You need to cease creating miseries and unhappiness for yourself (also an inside job) and find the spring of causeless happiness within. But the first step to true happiness is realizing it is an internal thing (within you) and not an external thing (outside and around you). Otherwise..you are always looking in the wrong places for it (. in the world and not within yourself. ๐ -
This is for my own benefit. There is not much to read in this journal. This is just for my own personal development. Not for a reader other than me . I'm realizing an increasing dependency on cigarettes, sugar, porn, music, video games to regulate my mood .I feel like absolute piece of shit whenever a day passes without some or all of these things .I'm confident to say I'm addicted to them . This journal is just a public recoding of trying to quit these things for an entire year ..starting from today 14/11/2024 until Christmas of year 2025 . Then I will see where I will be moving from there . I'm also going to stop posting in the main forums. I will only stick to the journaling section until December 2025. I'm not gonna quit music and video games as I do need something pleasurable to regulate my mood . I'm not ready for a complete monk mood . So I'm going to quit cigarettes and pornography. There we go . Today is day 1. I will keep a day count here .

You mean nothingness? We agree the body does not reincarnate because once it dies it gets dissolved into the earth . I think you'd have to posit an eternal primordial substance that doesn't die . -
@NoSelfSelf man why say that ? Try to help people instead of making fun of them all the time .

@Ishanga@Javfly33 @Hojo what exactly the thing that reincarnates? The body? The soul? The self? The Self? The awareness? The ego? All? Some? What??? Because as a matter of observable fact the body decays into dust and rot alright?.. Once your physical body dies it just dissolves into it's essential elements and just evaporates in nature.. Gets diffused into the soil etc. So that's that. What is it exactly that reincarnates then because obviously it's not the body? The self? There is no self "inside "the body lol !. The body is inside the" Self". There is no ghost inside the machine. What you really have is a machine inside the ghost lol. The self (ego) is a negative hole that appears as a consequence (byproduct) of entanglement of thoughts.. perceptions.. feelings etc. It's a misidentification really. It's a negative.. not an existing entity onto itself. So there is no self to reincarnate. IMO reincarnation is no different from Abrahamic religion's notions of hell and heaven.. Both have ZERO evidence!. As for karma as an evidence that supports reincarnation.. Well it's simply that for each up there is a down and for each action there is a reaction. You throw up a ball in the sky.. It falls down in the opposite direction taking the exact time that it took to reach the highest peak to fall from it into the ground. That's karma. The universe is already at perfect balance. There is no need for reincarnation to achieve balance as if balance could be lost to begin with. Balance is already the case. It's inconceivable that something unbalanced could even exist! And if you look at it from a pantheistic worldview.. You are already living inside every creature in this planet.. So at the moment that you are beheading a chicken you are the chicken that's being beheaded and the human who is beheading it simultaneously. Karma is instant.
