  1. Imagine a chamber full of lava that you gonna stay in it for eternity to suffer unimaginable levels of pain for an infinite amount of time. That's the classical religious hell as described in the Bible and the Qur’an. I always had fear of going to hell or experiencing hell . But I found a logical way to get myself out of this fear and I want to share it In case someone is having similar existential fears . But Just something that comes to mind.. according to Abrahamic religions (Judaism.. Christianity.. Islam) hell is supposed to be the judgment of an all loving all wise infinitely intelligent infinitely good God for your "wrong" deeds in this irrelevant preordained universe.....!!!!!!! Smells like bullshit right ? Doesn't make sense . I want you to go deeper within yourself . Because god or the source of existence is within. What do you intuite? What does your deepest deepest deepest intuitions tell you? Is the source of all creation truly a God or a devil? What " you" really are is that same source of all creation.. And that is nothing. Literally. Neti Neti .Not this or that. Not anything at all. a quote by robert adams :"All of life.. All of.. existence.. And anything possible.. Are just images on the screen of eternity." Identify with the screen and let all the other shit go. I've found an interesting discovery in neurology that make eternal suffering PHYSICALLY impossible. And also logically impossible. Because If an experience of pain is intensified to infinite degrees it will be no longer "pain". Right ?It will collapse and you won't feel anything. Just like when you get used to something you stop feeling it's presence after a while. That's why the idea of eternal religious hell doesn't make snse.. There is actually a "threshold of pain" in your brain. If the sensation is less or bigger than a certain range of electrical power.. You simply won't feel it. Read about it here : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threshold_of_pain Also I don't buy the reasoning "because God is infinity he must experience everything".. because god is not a dumb mechanical deterministic mathematical formula. Think about it.. if you are all powerful would you use your power to torture yourself forever? That means you are all-dumb as well 😂 But as far as I know God is all-intelligent!
  2. @Princess Arabia I know. I'm not doubting you . Not among the naysayers. I get that a radical shift in how you perceive reality has occurred.
  3. Sounds like what someone who binge watch Jim Newman would say . Of course what you're saying is correct. But we have to start somewhere.
  4. It's Grace.. Amazing Grace… It has nothing to do with concepts its also exceptionally ordinary and unseen, unnoticeable to another. In a funny ironic way even though it has no person to it.. its deeply personal. Lol. Just like all duality meets here and is neither and both at the same time. Everything is here while nothing is here and none of it makes any sense. That's what's so wonderful about it..the mind can not grasp… Mind is absolutely impotent here.. Love.
  5. Are all if your posts from now on going to be like this ?
  6. I have no answer but I think solipsism doesn't have to enter the equation. You are all people..both who lived in the past and who will live in the future. The past and the future are stored in God's mind so to speak or a universal memory . Ronaldo's "Calma calma" goal against Barcelona is never lost ..it exists eternally .
  7. @Butters take some potent SSRI’s. It will make you calm ..Chill ..And cozy . I suffered from panic attack and if it wasn't for taking Zyprexa pills I would've probably killed myself. I couldn't eat ..or breathe ..or sleep. Let alone go outdoors .take them .
  8. Dreams don't mean shit . They are just random hodgebodge of chaotic scenarios that don't make any sense .they are your subconscious mind trying to take refuge in sleep to express its repressed desires and fears . Had plenty of weird ass dreams this morning myself .
  9. That's great point as well. My main point though is that if suffering becomes infinite and absolute it would lose its meaning and not be suffering any longer . So eternal pain is logically impossible as well as neurologically impossible because the pain threshold.
  10. None of these things exist . Yup . Simple as that . You're imagining all that . These are thoughts you are imagining inside your bubble . Anything you say or any objection you pose can be flushed down the toilet with the same reply : you are imagining it .
  11. The only thing I'm sure of is that this present moment with all of the 'things ' in it as they appear directly exist . Anything else is believing. Conjecture etc I'm not talking about knowing through the mind . Relative knowledge is definitely possible. Science is in the business of knowing about the world . But do you know the actual substance of anything? I told you this before but you ignored my comment. Take a cat 🙀. Do you know what a cat is beyond its physical appearance? Or do you just know how it looks and how it sounds without actually knowing the very "being " of a cat . Why is there anything at all in existence? Do you know this ? Does Science know why did the big bang happen? @Carl-Richard still waiting for you debunking and shattering apart solipsism.
  12. I always say We can never know really what's going on in life because that would be ridiculous. Its an infinite mystery. But we can approach truth to various levels .for example someone like Leo probably "knows " stuff more than you or I do ..but he will never figure it all out because you literally don't know what your hand is 😂.
  13. @Sincerity About "being serious "...you yourself said you don't give a damn about this topic ..so what's it you are doing right now ? Killing some time while waiting in the bus station?
  14. @Sincerity your arrogance is obnoxious &ridiculous. As if you actually know shit .
  15. It's undefinable, like probably everything. But it's me . Who is me ? Well it's not a name . It's the unborntao .
  16. The two are not related . These are two separate questions .
  17. Sure . Stop playing define "X" ad infinitum like our old friend @Gesundheit2 . The bubble is everything you call existence or reality . the limits of someone's pov (the boundaries of the body..the ego and its sensory limits like sight and hearing distance) .
  18. @Carl-Richard I double dare ya ! Of course you cannot . If you go to uncle Google or encyclopedia they will tell solipsism Is amongst the school of thoughts which are undebunkable . Anything you say no matter how smartassey it is is being done inside your solipsistic bubble which is the only thing that exists .
  19. @Carl-Richard @Carl-Richard you have no idea what you're blabbering about. In Leo's video on "not knowing" he said that the honest answer to the question of solipsism is that he doesn't know . And that's true . Leo himself was confident his experience was the only that existed .he released a 3 hour video on solipsism being the ultimate truth ..then he deleted it because he wasn't sure..and then he released a video rambling on about Infinite Gods. Leo is conscious of how tricky philosophy is .don't think you know better than him. Be easy on leo..just let the guy do the work and present it in a noncontradictory manner . Maybe that's why Leo is posting videos a lot less . Solipsism is the most powerful epistemological school of thought amongst the countless philosophies. I dare you present a solid argument that refute it instead of calling people suffering because of Leo's Solipsism.
  20. I’ve noticed something about myself that has been affecting my social interactions and I wanted to share it to see if anyone has gone through something similar or has advice.etc Depending on who I’m with..I tend to act very differently: When Im with shy or quiet people (those I subconsciously perceive as having "lower social status")I feel more relaxed..witty.. physical.. and charismatic.etc But when I’m with people I consider confident or socially skilled.. it’s like something inside me shuts down: I feel less funny..and I lose my quick thinking.I talk less.. avoid eye contact..and generally feel "socially inferior" even though I’m not sure if I’m trying too hard to please them or if it’s just my insecurity from my part . What’s interesting is that I don’t think these people are "above" me in terms of achievements. I consider myself more attractive than average and have accomplished a lot for my age (26). I'm 26 years old . Studying business and marketing in university. Will graduate approximately in 2 years . I live by myself . I don't have a job . My family pay my bills . That's just some basic info about myself in case someone will pose these questions. I have no problem starting a fight with a guy ..but I don't like bullies. I've been bullied like a TON in school..because I had a very weak physique. Now that I've starting lifting and doing sports for couple of years and got in a stronger shape I can defend myself . But I just don't have strong personality. I have strong body but not strong personality . What to do ?
  21. @Davino @Sugarcoat i understand. Im talking about a specific case here with specific people. Ever feel super confident and then you interact with another person you can tell is confident and if feels like you are both going kinda toe to toe in some unspoken way to see who can strut there confidence the most and come out on top..and the moment one person slips up and looses their charisma or mojo or what ever you went to call it the other persons confidence sky rockets while the other persons plummets. Iv even been in situations where later in the same night the person who lost their confidence to me was able to make a come back so to speak in how they presented themselves and then my confidence initially was soaring starts to plummet as the others goes up. Social dynamics are just weird sometimes. Sorry your comment was insightful. Don't think I'm just writing it off .I'm just like "yes! That's it! . I see !".
  22. It can be hard to just " stop thinking "other people are fully dominant or indominated in social situations. Sometimes i find myself in "social hierarchy" that drives me to anxiety. Socializing isn’t easy I'm sure you Leo know this very well .
