  1. @Jacobsrwwhen you take a DMT you see entities. People think these entities are immaterial ghosts or something. According to science they are just material visuals caused by altered perception centers in the brain that's affected by the drug. That's what I meant. That's not my opinion again. That's what scientific study says. For me that's the most reasonable explanation.
  2. @Jacobsrw you are just spreading these statements as if it's objective absolute facts. You actually don't know that. You don't know if science is capable of explaining psychedelics. There's no reason to not think this is possible. If you do a bit research on the topic you will see it's just a matter of time before it happens. It's a hallucinating drug.. Why would science not be able to understand it like any other chemical when you inject in your body?.
  3. OK thanks. That's a good way to end any conversation btw. It works.
  4. @Jacobsrw @Jacobsrw Ofcourse different chemicals have different effect on the brain that's so obvious.
  5. I'm not creating a duality here. It doesn't matter the label. The point of it's understood how the mechanism work then that's that. We don't need to jump to mystical conclusions it's sort of like ancient people believed that dreams are activity from spirits but now we know that the brain is responsible for dreams and not ghosts.
  6. @Jacobsrw@cetus I doubt it too but I "believe" in the future you can actually go and visit a therapist and he will do something in your brain without injecting psychedelics that allows you to see that thing up there lol. It's safe to conclude that since we already can track the parts of the brain and the exact changes that happen during the trips
  7. @Jacobsrw he was running an experiment on psychedelics. It was his first time so it's understandable. It was the intention from the experiment from the very beginning to track what's happening in his brain during and after the trip. He's so scientifically minded so you can't blame him for that. You can't force people to just use your own method of studying and exclude any other method. If we as humans just accept every thing as it is in the world science wouldn't advance and will probably stay like apes in the jungle. But straight to the point.. What's your current understanding of how psychedelics work? and how do you explain the very clear correlation between the trip and the brain activity?
  8. I think you mean the ego or the sense of separation but not the raw perception. That doesn't die on a psychedelic trip.
  9. Most people when they take psychedelics they first don't understand what the hell just happened and it's understandable but because they missed the fact that the brain is in fact capable of hallucinating stuff and you can actually measure the brain activity that's responsible for this. So I would say it's easily explained mechanically. That doesn't contradict that they might reveal mystical insights. But what does it mean to our understanding when we know it was caused by a change in the brain state?
  10. I think we are giving this kid more importance than he deserves. Let's just move on. He is a nobody (not in the enlightenment sense but even from the relative sense lol).
  11. There's nothing to do in life but wasting time
  12. Idk tbh. I think the first one who said it was the philosopher Socrates.
  13. I know but one thing that I don't know a dam thing.
  14. You don't know and can't know. No one else does nor can. Because existence is prior to knowing. Have a nice day.
  15. I see Leo communicating in a normal straightforward fashion without complications and he is God himself.
  16. @IAmTheHolySpirit you keep telling people that everything they say is just a "thought" (that's obvious as hell btw) without realizing that your essays are also a bunch of "thoughts". You seem so passionate about spirituality and meditation (no-mind) and all that but try to distinguish between the relative perspective and the absolute perspective. We can discuss any issue in life like normal human apes without repeating "this is just a thought don't believe it" all the time. If you get hungry you are allowed to go and grab a fucking piece of bread without saying "it's just a thought it's just a feeling". Fact :The mind doesn't stop. Neurons are firing away in your brain all the time. Stop telling people to disassociate from their inevitable thoughts. Do that yourself and die in few weeks or be realistic and let go of the need to let go of thoughts. Important side note : everything I said here are just evil thoughts. Don't believe them.
  17. These guys are talking about nothing at all and they wonder why they can't agree on it?
  18. If so why insisting on the pointer "love" if it's just a subjective pointer?
  19. Because that's what the word "love" mean in all human languages. If you mean something else then stop calling it love or create a new term for that. That would save us hours of arguing over semantics.
  20. @freeman194673 If you want a scientific answer.. the chicken came first because all birds evolved from reptiles. They were giving birth directly and then they started growing wings and the procreating process evolved from nonsexual splitting into giving birth directly and finally by producing eggs. t's so simple. You don't have to be Einstein to get it.
  21. No!. It's a criminal behavior and these officers need to be put in jail and showed some tough love.
  22. @Nahm may I ask you why you purposely always reply in riddles, koans and complex ways that can be so hard to even understand ?. I'm just curious because normally these kinds of topics are riddles already so they require no more confusion on top of confusion.
  23. You will know the answer when you actually experience these things and it's gonna be more than obvious.
