  1. We are contemplating together. Did you imagined that sentence? Did you actually know what I was going to say in this reply? Did you willingly create this appearance these words which are appearing in your awareness right now as well as when exactly are they going to appear?. As for me I'm not imagining you. If I tried to imagine you out of existence you would still be there!. Neither do I know for sure whether you exist outside of my awareness e or not. Both are possible. I don't fucking know lol. It's just appears to me that you do and that's the safest assumption to make for now!!
  2. Do you believe there is an actual person with An independent awareness and understanding that can read your question and respond to it on the other side?
  3. This is just empty talk at this point. Who exactly is the imaginary? Me or you? Or we both? (we both real btw lol) . Like dude this is not gonna work trust me.
  4. I study philosophy. I contemplated that question a lot. It's common in epistemology. Just notice for you to even build the question you are assuming an "it". If the external world doesn't exist and that's such an obvious fact you wouldn't need to debunk "it" in the first place.
  5. But we have to assume something constant to make sense of life? When you say "you" you assume something constant. Even If it's an illusion I think it's a healthy illusion lol.
  6. The body and mind are changing for you?
  7. Do you realize this will inevitably lead to solipsism? If that's true Do I or anyone in this forum even exist independently from your awareness? If not.. Who are you talking with?
  8. Keep in mind I don't know everything. no one does. I'm m not some" know it all " God. Science still have no deep understanding of how perception and awareness works but for know we know the apparent process.
  9. I don't think it's that simple. If we speak conventionally " you" are this flesh avatar and the outside world is simply what you are perceiving right now around you. It's true that if you disappear the world will disappear for you. But as long as you are here the world also appears there. So as long as the experience is going there is no point in denying it as that won't change it and might create confusion and conflict between you and the world because your beliefs will be contradicting your direct experience.
  10. When you speak about infinity that means it includes "everything". All possibilities. All perspectives. However in other places you seem to insist that reality is just some way and not the other like imaginary and not objective. Or it's mind rather than matter. If it's infinite why couldn't be matter and mind?
  11. I too assume the existence of external objective reality. It's just more likely and I don't take it as absolute truth either. It's just what it appears to be. A dream world also appears objective . Do we "really" know?
  12. The answer is already in the question. If you ask " if a tree falls on a forest with nobody around does it make a sound"?. You just decided that there is a tree that's falling! that's the proposition that you built the question on. The key to answering the question is in the definition of "sound". What you call sound is specifically " how the human mind interpret and translate the vibrations that the falling tree makes". For the tree to make "sound" it must fall and there must be a perceiving ear nearby to interpret the vibrations into the thing that we call "sound ". If there is a tree that's falling and nobody is around to perceive it.. It's gonna make vibrations.. not "sound".
  13. I agree. We might know stuff on the surface but if we keep digging deep will soon discover we don't actually know a dam thing lol.
  14. He is a wise dude. Got a good sense of humor as well . Will check him out!
  15. Yes I need to contemplate whether I'm happy with being a smoker . My uncle's recent heart attack was an eye opener. It was as a sign to me to quit. I might end up like him keeping in mind I also have poor diet and exercise and not so healthy lifestyle in general. But I'm determined to change all that asap. Thanks bro!
  16. Thanks bro for the tips. Will start working on them.
  17. Thank you. I'm determined and made the decision to quit.
  18. Thank you. How can I change my perspective tho?
  19. Life is not about survival. In fact it's the exact opposite. Life is about decaying and collapsing. It's called entropy. Everything in nature naturally tends to dissolve and collapse. That's the natural flow of things. Why is that? Because of newton's first law "everything tends to Stay as it is unless an external force changes it". You are born to die not to live. If from the moment you was born you just sat there without doing anything you will die quickly and that would be the most natural way to live! Survival is devilry as Leo call it. It goes against the natural flow of things(the path of less resistance). The moment of death when it happens naturally is the moment when physical entropy reaches its maximum level and the body is unable to resist the decaying process of nature anymore. The moment of suicide is when the "mind" reaches the maximum entropy and the psychological structure just collapses which leads the person to destroy his physical body as well. That's why it's important to take care of your mental health and live carefree (not careless) and don't feed your mind unnecessary negative thoughts. It might backfire at you in the future!
  20. Good job! And congrats for quitting. I spotted that pattern of "just one more time". I'm becoming more aware of this lie and hopefully will progress in the future!
  21. I'm trying my best,!
