  1. So is there atoms and molecules or there isn't?
  2. I disagree. I think the" story" is based on the real world. How is it that we all happened to create similar stories about how the world unfolds in linear time? Is because it does! If it doesn't we won't come up with such story in the first place.
  3. Would appreciate it if you link to them!.
  4. Well yeah I didn't perceive those things but that doesn't mean they didn't happen!!. When you call a delivery you don't perceive the restaurant that you're calling or the food yet you give them special orders and you assume that they are real without you needing to perceive them.
  5. Well I don't agree that this "mind filter" and analysis and concepts are bad. I'm not sure why they are demonized in spiritual circles. The meaning of those words are more than obvious to everyone. Exist =real = they have objective presence in the actual world and serve certain functions regardless of how my mind perceived them. Imagined = a thought or image in my mind.. It might be a representation of something "real" in the world or just an arrangement of images to create a new image which has no representation in the actual world.
  6. Just suppose you didn't know the honey was poisend. You have no idea what is inside the jar. All you can perceive in your direct experience is the honey (it's smell and taste etc). Yet still if you eat it you gonna die from the poison. So something doesn't have to be in your direct experience to be real! It can be very real and significant yet you don't perceive it. Think of a cancer tumor for example.
  7. This is not correct. Things do shift and come and go always and in constant flow. Nothing is static. No thing is static. Get rid of this principle and see how you fail in life immediately.. You have to go to the work tommorw at 6 am? Oh no there is no such thing as tomorrow and 6 am.. But is there really isn't?!
  8. Yes I am. But back to the point.. I'm still thirsty even though I drank an infinite cup of water!! How do you reconcile that?
  9. So what? So that your beliefs about reality being a dream and that there's no difference between stuff doesn't help you at practically. You have to still obey the apparent laws and dualistic nature of reality whether you like it or not(so long as you wanna live in it at least) . So then what's the point of calling it a dream?
  10. Isn't "actuality" is the same as direct experience?
  11. No the water is so real and I drank it all. I felt it in my mouth and body.. Totally. The air and the water are obviously not the same.. If I drink the air it won't satisfy my thirst no matter how much I drink (sniff or whatever) unlike the water. If you think they are the same..please refrain from using one of them and just use the other for the rest of your life.
  12. I just finished right now as I said. The cup is totally dry and empty . Further questions?
  13. I just finished drinking a cup of water. Unfortunately I'm still thirsty but it contains only so much water. Seems like it's finite.
  14. A wise man once said " I don't know anything except one thing that I don't know anything."
  15. Is that your direct experience in Day to day life?
  16. Seems like there is duality between duality and nonduality. They both emply each other.
  17. Have you experienced this state? If yes through which method?
  18. I think it's disrespectful for you to assume that I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing. Just because you couldn't convince me of something doesn't mean that I'm just Playing word games. I'm asking rational questions and hoping to find convincing answers.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong. This means that nonduality is simply the state of nothing and no experience whatsoever which we discussed before that it's impossible for that state to exist because that would be a contradiction by defention. So we could say that in order for anything or any experience to exist it must be dualistic. So that brings back the question " if everything that can ever possibly be must be dualistic.. What's the point of speaking about nonduality all day"?!!, I tried meditation btw. It calms me make me feel peace and detachment but it didn't turn the duality in the world into no duality unfortunately!
  20. How can I increase my awareness?
  21. It might exist. I know my direct experience is true because it's direct experience. It's true by definition. Now there might be a deeper truth beyond this direct experience.. But that doesn't contradict the direct experience. For example.. If I'm having a dream and seeing an elephant.. That elaphant is real so long as it's in front of me and the dream is still going. You might say there is a deeper reality behind this elephant but since it's not in direct experience or proved yet it will be just speculation.
  22. Hello I dream every day that's normal enough but something about last night's dream just made me think. It was so vivid and I was so immersed in it that when I woke up it felt like I was in a different universe and then I looked around and asked myself "what makes this world any different from the dream's world?". I got no answers. I kept the inquiry going and it lead me eventually to question the nature of reality. Is reality material? But what is "matter" really? We are just putting labels on the stuff we found in the world. If reality is material how can dreams happen? Dreams are very fascinating phenomenon.. Your mind literally create an entire world of matter (or at least an appearance of it) out of thin air through sheer imagination.. It is possible that this world ks I see around me was made by me using the same imagination.. It's not impossible after all I do that every single day when I dream at night lol. But then again this world is so consistent and it definitely has certain rules and limitations. I can't just jump and fly.Gravity exits etc. So if it's my imagination why can't I imagine it any way I want? And if it's material where did matter come from and why does it exist?
  23. I think we should just trust direct experience because it is the case regardless of what you do or think or don't do and don't think about it. Something is here and nothing is just nothing. The closest thing to think of nothing is deep sleep.. The waking world is the total opposite of that.
