The answer is already in the question. If you ask " if a tree falls on a forest with nobody around does it make a sound"?. You just decided that there is a tree that's falling! that's the proposition that you built the question on. The key to answering the question is in the definition of "sound". What you call sound is specifically " how the human mind interpret and translate the vibrations that the falling tree makes". For the tree to make "sound" it must fall and there must be a perceiving ear nearby to interpret the vibrations into the thing that we call "sound ". If there is a tree that's falling and nobody is around to perceive it.. It's gonna make vibrations.. not "sound". -

I agree. We might know stuff on the surface but if we keep digging deep will soon discover we don't actually know a dam thing lol. -
He is a wise dude. Got a good sense of humor as well . Will check him out!

Yes I need to contemplate whether I'm happy with being a smoker . My uncle's recent heart attack was an eye opener. It was as a sign to me to quit. I might end up like him keeping in mind I also have poor diet and exercise and not so healthy lifestyle in general. But I'm determined to change all that asap. Thanks bro!

Thanks bro for the tips. Will start working on them.

Life is not about survival. In fact it's the exact opposite. Life is about decaying and collapsing. It's called entropy. Everything in nature naturally tends to dissolve and collapse. That's the natural flow of things. Why is that? Because of newton's first law "everything tends to Stay as it is unless an external force changes it". You are born to die not to live. If from the moment you was born you just sat there without doing anything you will die quickly and that would be the most natural way to live! Survival is devilry as Leo call it. It goes against the natural flow of things(the path of less resistance). The moment of death when it happens naturally is the moment when physical entropy reaches its maximum level and the body is unable to resist the decaying process of nature anymore. The moment of suicide is when the "mind" reaches the maximum entropy and the psychological structure just collapses which leads the person to destroy his physical body as well. That's why it's important to take care of your mental health and live carefree (not careless) and don't feed your mind unnecessary negative thoughts. It might backfire at you in the future! -
Good job! And congrats for quitting. I spotted that pattern of "just one more time". I'm becoming more aware of this lie and hopefully will progress in the future!

@WHO IS if you look at the world you will find good and bad. Beauty and ugliness. Order and chaos. Purpose and randomness. Therefore if there is a creator God and this world is his creation I won't conclude that he made it just to express purpose and justice but their opposites as well!, -

There is a cause but not necessarily a purpose. -

Got nothing to do with "God". When you call something "beautiful" you create "ugly". When you call something "good" you create "evil". Without the" down" there won't be "up" and vice versa. It's the nature of reality. For anything to exist at all it must be dualistic or it won't exist. Light and darkness go together. If there is no light there won't be darkness!! -

Don't worry bro.. I don't say stuff that I don't know or have no clue about. You don't get that with me -

I think here is the most important part. If I use a microscope to find the exact line that separate "me" from the "world" I might very much not find it. This duality is not really there when you dig deep. It's just one field the universe is one filed (whether it be matter or awareness is not the issue here). But If we get back to the macro level and use a ruler to draw that line. I can very easily name you a bunch of objects in my direct experience that's not "me ". The line that separate me from it is so clear (on the macro level). I believe both perspectives are true in a sense you are one with the world if you choose to look at it this way and you are not one with it if you choose that. -

@SoonHei I think all these questions have an obvious answer but I'm interested to see where are you going with this? Do you want to apply the same analogy about the experience of this reality that's happening "here and now". You can only discover this after you exit the dream and reflect back on what happens using memories. How do you apply the same to this world? Is it possible that this world is not a dream at all yet dreams just happen within it? -

I agree. But I'm open that I can verify that by myself without needing someone to come back from death to tell me what's there (as if that's even a valid proof anyways).
