Fear is a threat to the the finite from that you think you are.. If you are formless.. What can threat you? -

Well if you want that then go die.. Completely let go of this meat suit and Dissolve back into infinity. Don't be so attached to this body and then complain about fear. The body is fear. At best just a house of diseases.. Needs and cravings.. And at the end just a food for bugs. -

This is a fairy tale. Enlightenment doesn't mean you will become a superman. Ramana maharshi died from cancer. It just means you are absolutely clear about the true nature of yourself and reality. -

Don't you believe direct experience is all that exists and nothing is outside of it? Is there something hidden that exists yet not accessible to my direct experience? If so then direct experience is not the whole shebang. -

The atheist vs religious is just an example. There is a Kernel of truth and kernel of falsehood in every worldview . However we can speak about people who are less attached to beliefs and ideology as more in touch with Truth and closer to enlightenment than those who are stuck in their mind thinking about the world in certain Ways and unable to see the limits of their worldview and here is where open mindedness comes in.. .. -
Hell yeah I like that guy.. Funny af

I know what you mean. But still relatively speaking we can talk about a mind and levels of open mindedness. We tend to think a religious person is less open to various worldviews than a secular person Beautifully said bro ? -

So testing is the key. You also said to ground your open-mindedness in direct experience. You can't be open minded to something that goes against your direct experience. How do I test the concept of "others are imaginary"? In my direct experience I can't for example undo or unimagine you. -

Sure bro ridiculous af. Go ahead and disprove them lol. you can't disprove them. You only react this way as a defence mechanism. "oh just stupid ideas they can't be true" as I said you cannot open your mind to them because you've got survival to worry about and a whole imaginary construct of what's "ridiculous" and what's "not ridiculous" to defend. Exactly! You don't take them seriously to "live your life". Survival is of a higher priority than truth. -

1 self-awareness. Do you think a rock will suffer if you torture it? 2 survival. The movement of survival and the struggle to keep the body in homeostasis. Ever renewed needs. Etc. Pain and pleasure are like guiding signals to push you away from what threats your survival and towards what keeps it. 3 judgment. Attachment. Likes and dislikes. See when you were a little kid you were peaceful most of the time. Because you were pure. As you grow up you get attached to all kinds of shit. You form a whole identity out of your attachments. And shit will not always go your way. And when your attachments get threatened you will suffer. -
Whatever you are interested in. I study philosophy because I can't imagine myself studying anything else. Definitely would get much material success in other careers but wasting your life doing something you actually like is more important making money imo.
