Lol 😂. Yes you can awaken through meditation alone . And the idea that you ought to drug up your ass with 5meo or fly to the 12th dimension or see aliens to awaken is the very illusion you awaken from. There is absolutely nothing that you have to do to get closer to what you already are . And this is the most obvious thing to say . -

Beautiful thanks for sharing . This brought to mind this passage from Robert Adams: "What is this world? It's as if you just woke up from your dream and you still remember the dream. In the dream you were going places, getting married, having children, getting older then you wake up and you halfway remember the dream and halfway remember the world in which you wake up. So which one is real, the world or the dream? It has been my experience that they're both alike. There is no real difference. You attach yourself to this world, in the same way you attach yourself in your dream. If you were dreaming and you dreamt you were falling off a mountain and I was falling beside you. And I said to you, "Don't worry, nothing can happen to you, you're dreaming," you wouldn't believe me, you would be filled with fear and you would say, "Can't you see we're falling, can't you see what's happening, how can you tell me I'm dreaming?" Just before you hit the ground you wake up, and you laugh, "It was all a dream." In the same way you have attached yourself to sickness, to health, to good, to bad, to happiness, to unhappiness, these are all concepts. You've attached yourself to person place or thing. You have forgotten that this is a dream. You believe it’s real and because you believe it’s real you suffer accordingly. When you leave your body you will have to come back again and again and again, all part of the dream, until you become detached. How do you do that? By simply observing what's going on around you and not attaching yourself to it. By being awake to your reality. Understanding yourself that you are not the doer. Everything that you do has been preordained. It will be done. You have to let go mentally of all conditioning, of all objectivity. And you must still your mind. Make your mind placid, like a motionless lake. Then reality comes of its own accord. Happiness comes of its own accord. Peace comes of it own accord. Love comes of its own accord. Freedom comes of its own accord. These things are synonymous. They happen without you ever thinking about them. But first you must get rid of the notion, that I am the body, or mind, or the doer and then everything will happen by itself." Be still and know that I am God . 🤍🙏 -
I became aware today at 3 AM after waking up from a deep restful sleep that the ultimate truth is nothing. No Thing. That's It basically in a nutshell. That's the answer to every question. Obviously I mean the big existential questions not the questions like "what did my neighbour had for dinner?" You want to know from where did reality come? From nothing . Where is it heading ? To nothing . What is reality exactly? Nothing . Why there is something rather than nothing ? Something is nothing . Etc You are here because you have questions right ? I have questions too.. especially one very important question. Why does anything exists at all? And whats the purpose of life? and what is the most meaningful way to live our lives ? These questions can be answered definitively. That's not a coincidence for sure . i already answered why is there existence..existence simply is nothing. But I'm not saying existence does not exist .it definitely exists. And what it is ..is no thing. If that distinction is not clear tell me . the answers to the two other questions were revealed to me as well . There is no purpose to life at all and there is no god-given lifestyle that you should follow. This Is just what is the case. I know reality seems as if it has purpose but it doesn't. Look at how intelligent reality is.. I don't buy the naive explanations that its all for "fun and play" reasons we exist at all. Because life here on earth is not just fun and play that's for sure. Go Suffer enough and you will spit on those ideas that life is just for fun . Its important to understand I don't think we come to exist in vain and for no purpose in the relative level. Look at reality.. everything has a purpose.. even small insects like bees need to pollinate to help plants grow. And if you live your life willy-Nilly you are not going to accomplish much success. You will get to nowhere. But guess what ? You will get to nowhere anyways no matter what you do😂. So..on the relative level you should be honest with yourself about dealing seriously with your life and with the complexity of life . You should figure out your purpose..and your values and live based on that . While deep down having the understanding that all of life is like one snapshot in infinity. Its utterly meaningless and purposeless from the highest picture possible. And the two approaches don't contradict each others . That's the paradoxical mindfuck .the interplay between seriousness and fun . Between nothing and something . Please share your thoughts..questions..etc Happy new year 🙏

@ricachica hi . Oneness is a facet of reality at the absolute level . The Same thing that is conscious of this present moment in me is whats conscious of this present moment in you . There are actually no solid boundaries between anything in the universe. It's all one soup of isness. Yet it appears as if the world consists of discrete objects. But that is just optical illusion which can be dispelled if you take psychedelics . -

All religions consist of theology plus morality.. Or laws. The purpose of a religion (any religion ) is not just to give you some fluffy mantras and chantings/prayers to god /the divine but also to offer a moral code . If all of society becomes homosexual the human species will go extinct. That doesn't say anything about the morality of the act I understand. But I guess it was appropriate for that era .and that is your point right ? -

What does this mean ? Give an example. -

@Husseinisdoingfine I have found no spiritual tradition better than Advaita Vedanta and Sufisim. Islam has esoteric and exoteric dimensions which I encourage you to study before you judge. I don't call myself a muslim .but I just find it the most " sensible " religion out there . Muhammad was woke af. If he is supposed to channel this Qur’anic chapter its clear he understands the nature of existence. There are some verses in the quran which literally says to kill the unbelievers. That's why there is Islamic terrorism .did Muhammad himself wrote them ? I highly doubt it . -

The word nothing is the perfect description. You can call it God or infinity or pure consciousness. These are synonymous. But the problem with the other words is you have preconceived ideas and connotations/mental images for them . Whereas the word nothing doesn't seem to create any mental image in your mind . -

Its creepy but I like to watch horrible horror movies before going to bed to generate nightmares . And waking up in the morning. What is odd is I didn't dream that night . It was deep sleep all along .and the entire universe was nothing. -

Interesting. I too like to meditate or contemplate in the evening. I'm a night owl. Something in the darkness makes me calm and philosophical hehe . Agree . Because you appear to be a body you believe that you are a body . -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Oh! Didn't know about that . Did you hear this from Sadhguru ? I agree though .i didn't do anything to get the insights . Its not a mental conclusion. Its not something i know . Its something i am. the thing.is . Knowing is actually being... Let me explain.... Reading ten thousand books on astronomy explaining what the sun is won't give you a better idea about it than to simply look at the sun.. I mean the mysterious appearance. These insights aren't known. They just hit me in zero distance between me and the Nothing .I am it .not i know It . Have a nice new year bro 💔 -

@Inliytened1 my dad is 78 years old now . He used to smoke cigarettes since he was like 18 years old and he is still a stallion beefy mofo healthy as a rocket . Seriously though..I can only laugh when I hear someone saying we have free will . Please tell me how the hell are you typing right now ..? How are the words coming to your mind ?..how are your fingertips moving to type?.. -
Someone here replied to Candle's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Inliytened1 you ignored this part . This is the crux right here . If my destiny is to be alive and healthy then that's whats gonna happen . If my destiny is to die or be sick then that's what is gonna happen. Self is completely dead inside .physical death won't make me more dead . -
Someone here replied to Candle's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Read my signature. I'm totally liberated and utterly free . Not "awakened " or "God realized " or "not attached" or none of that stuff . But I'm FREE. What this means is basically I no longer mind being dead..disabled..sick ..tortured..castrated ..bored..going insane ..going to hell or anything else. I'm a feather in the winds of reality/God. I have no ego . My ego is gone. I no longer resist life .let whatever the fuck happen to happen. Its not like I as the ego have control over anything. -
Someone here replied to Candle's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No I have not . Who is that? You are already dead. To op though i would say that Physical death is the biggest cosmic joke in the universe. You have never experienced physical birth nor death.. right ? and you never will..because what you truly are is eternal and infinite beyond human belief. But if it's your ego that's asking..well..then yes that will die. Your current incarnated character (ego) will die..but characters in this dream die all the time while new are getting born..rght? You are in truth all those characters getting born on Earth every minute. They are you. You are them. And you know that very well.. only you can only experience different personas one at a time. How do you do it? Same way as you beat your heart..you just do it . -
@James123 happy new year buddy . Any plans for the upcoming year so far ma boi ?

Someone here replied to Sugarcoat's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Sugarcoat good shit . The problem is we think there is me here and a world there and me is looking at the world. That's duality. The observer is the observed. And this is meant literally. What you think is a screen right now that is being perceived by you via a medium of perception system (eyes) is actually what you are. You are not looking at the screen right now. You are the screen. And this is the case for any other duality. You and your thoughts are actually one thing. You and your feelings are actually one thing. Meaning there is no you that is feeling feelings.. The feelings are what you are. Evident by when there are no feelings there is no feeler as well. Similarly when there is no perceiver there are no perceptions. And since there is in fact no duality between the perceiver and the perceived.. There is neither a you nor a world out there.. There is one unbroken actuality. And this is it. In this actuality there is actually no "you" and no "other". If you try to pin point where or what exactly is" you" in direct experience and what is or where exactly is "other" you will fail miserably. Because this boundary is completely imaginary. It's all one thing. There is no you right here perceiving a world out there. It's all here. Here is there. You is the world. So what you call other people are literally you. The entire actuality of what's showing up in consciousness right now is you. Not just what you are identified with as your body. The entire field of consciousness is you. From this place there is neither you nor a world as two separate things. There is only what is. And what is.. Is one unbroken actuality with no divisions. If you lose that awareness of clarity and revert back to thinking that I am me right here looking at the world out there.. Then a question might arise about the nature of the relationship between me and the world.. Am I projecting the world? Imagining it like a dream that has no reality outside my own experience? Or is it just there and I m merely perceiving it..?. But the whole question is based on a false sense of self that is separate from the whole. In order to resolve this dilemma you must sit down and kill yourself. Kill this illusory sense of I'm me here somewhere inside this body. There is no self separate from the world. It's just a sense of self. Just a sense. It comes and goes Like all other senses. There is actually some centers in the brain responsible for the sense of the self .. If we shut down those centers in the brain you will go poof. You will be gone as a self. You were never real to begin with. But sure as hell you appear to be real. But if you sit down and try to draw the boundary between you and the world. You will discover you are literally the entire world. You are the totality of what is. -
How is this even a question!? How can you compare banging a sexy goddess to wanking your seed out of your meat to some fucking toilet ?

Samsara is Nirvana. Form is formlessness. There is no where to go . If you think you can "spiritualise " your way out of this" gross limited dense physical realm" into some sort of unlimited Disney land of spiritual perfection you can forget about it. What is sought is what's already here . The goal of doing spirituality is not to arrive at a different place from the here & now but to be fully present and content with what is .but you do you. -
Someone here replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
the law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system remains constant..This law means that energy can neither be created nor destroyed..but rather it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another. For instance ..a block of ice cannot get destroyed..it can be turned into liquid water or steam but it cant be annihilated . another example is that chemical energy is converted to motion energy when a dynamite explodes. If you add up all forms of energy that were released in the explosion it will be the exact decrease of chemical energy in the combustion of the dynamite. Read NDEs . When you die you will first see a replay of your entire life in quick flashes .then your brain will release insane amounts of DMT .and you will enter a DMT trip basically where consciousness will begin to get speed up and you will see some weird ass hallucinations. Then after your brain is completely out of function ..the hallucinations will stop and something from two possibilities will occur .because there isn't a third possibility: 1. Either all of perceptions of any kind will completely disappear and you will enter a state of complete formlessness forever . Or.. 2.another dream/life /experience will magically appear out of nowhere just like how this life appeared. It doesn't matter what are the details of this new experience/lifetime. The only thing that's sure is that there will be consciousness of some sort. I can't think of a third possibility. Sure . Existence is the sum total of all individual experiences. Not a single individual consciousness. I stopped thinking that solipsism is true . -

OK so a dream is an objective landscape that exists on its own outside of your imagination? Interesting. -
Someone here replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Honestly I'm not sure. What I'm noticing though a theme in your posts recently about "stopping dreaming" or stopping existence. Are you depressed? Why do you want to stop existing forever? I'm not sure either about whether that's possible as well or not . But my reasoning says that since existence exists right now ..then the natural conclusion is it has always existed and will always exist . Even in physics classes we were taught that energy neither can be destroyed nor created . -

I would not take Leo's words as a gospel or the ultimate truth unless you can verify them in your direct experience first. He is convinced that reality is imaginary or illusory in some sense or another ..and that's understandable for someone who has hundreds of trips on psychedelics under his belt...And in a sense reality is indeed imaginary. At least some of it . Like nighttime dreams .don't we all agree that dreams are imaginary? The ultimate truth in my opinion though cannot be encapsulated in a quote or a single sentence. If you want the ultimate truth written you will need an infinite sentence. It's neither love nor imagination yet both and none !
