  1. @Mason Riggle well.. Your dreams at night also appear "self-evident". Yet you don't think your dreams are actually happening, right?
  2. @Mason Riggle and if I ask you how do you know that?
  3. What do you mean? Like replacing one addiction with another one?
  4. Yes. I find myself split up. Part of me wants to quit and other parts want to keep doing this. I'm confused.
  5. Is there a difference between 'liberation' as talked about by teachers like Jim Newman and Tony parsons and Anna brown.. And 'god realization' as talked about by Leo? Tbh I still don't understand what are the full components of God realization. Aside from that you are God dreaming up all of reality. What the above teachers teach is that there is no self with free will and choice and simply that 'all is well' and everything is literally heaven and you are already liberated in disguise of a seeker.
  6. @Raptorsin7 good for you. Happy to hear ?
  7. @Raptorsin7 and what exactly is the "importance" of being conscious?
  8. @Raptorsin7 so what do you mean exactly by saying you are enlightened? What's the difference between you and me?
  9. @Raptorsin7 yes but.. If you don't actually know what existence /consciousness /reality is.. Then how can you be enlightened?
  10. @Raptorsin7 but do you know what it is even intuitively? Or is it a mystery to you?
  11. I find the concept of not knowing beneficial in the spiritual path. When you really question everything you think you know you will be shocked at how little you know. And it's not extreme to say that you don't know a dam thing. Do you know what anything is or do you just give it a name? For instance.. A cat. You don't know what a cat is. I mean it's essential nature. You just know it's appearance. And you give it a name. A label. We give labels to objects and actions.. We write mathematical equations to describe certain patterns in nature.. We think we know this stuff.. But we actually don't. We don't know what an apple is or what a tree is or what a color is or what a sound is or what a feeling is or what a thought is or what a human is or what any thing is.. Existence is pure undefined magic.. Therefore it is mystical and divine.. It is godly.. But most people are missing the divine nature of existence because they constantly keep lying to themselves that they actually know anything at all. We don't see God because we think we know. God is not knowing.
  12. @Carl-Richard I don't understand your answer.
  13. @Carl-Richard what is the context of existence as a whole? What is it's position? Where is it located?
  14. @Raptorsin7 what is existence? What is nonexistence?
  15. Oh and you know that don't you? I'm talking about a radical level of not knowing. It's a level of not knowing so big that it feels like you're losing your mind and you cannot be sure about an anything. IMO your still attached to the mind and concepts.
  16. How about decontextualized?
  17. That It can refuted. Debunked. Shown to be false.
  18. No. Even that can be Deconstructed.
  19. @Javfly33 not knowing is your natural default state. You don't actually know anything about anything. You are just in denial about it.
