  1. @Zeroguy you are not showing enough interest or respect to the conversation for me to answer your question. You are not seriously asking. You are just fooling around. So no answer for you.
  2. @Gesundheit2 no worries..I stopped taking you seriously a long time ago .
  3. Look... Obviously other people exist as objects of perception in my direct experience.. That's undeniable.. I go out.. I see people everywhere. But are these things" subjects"? Do they have internal self-awareness as I do? Is there someone behind their eyes? It there anybody out there other than me?. The solipsism philosophy doesn't say yes or no to that question contrary to what most people mistakenly misunderstood it.. Solipsism states that one's own mind or subjective experience of the world is the only "certain" thing to exist.. And the existence of other individual minds is "impossible to verify". In other words you are absolutely certain that you are aware right now.. But it's impossible to be certain that I'm (someone here) aware.. In fact why I'm talking to "you"? .. I should say I am aware and "you" are the unsettled mystery. The problem with solipsism is not whether it's objectivey true or not(is it actually the case that I am the only one out there)..but is that it is absolutely true subjectively regardless of that. You are trapped inside your own subjective experience in any case.. So even though I am aware right now from my pov.. From your pov that doesn't matter and there is no such thing.. There is only your awareness.. There is no such thing as "my awareness" in your awareness.. There is only these words in front of you right now and that's the actualilty of what is.. Anything else is just assumptions you add on top of it.."ofcourse there is someone there writing these words.. They couldn't just write themselves lol".. Really?. In your dream.. The entire dream and all the people inside of it..and their actions.. Are nothing but your creation.. They have no Reality of their own outside your imagination.. The only real thing in the dream underneath all the scattered phenomenon is you.
  4. This is not a belief system. This is something you can become directly conscious of .but you will never do as long as you are endlessly mentally masturbating and using toxic skepticism to avoid doing the real work of actually awakening and deconstructing your entire mind and reality . But hey ..that's the last thing the ego would like to do .so I totally get where you are coming from.
  5. Yes .that's why I said my pov Is not actually happening until you EXPEPERIENCE it .any once you experience it, it will no longer be a "future ", incarnation but a present one. Of course it can't be certain. From the absolute perspective you are correct..only the present moment is real .the future (and the past for that matter ) are Imaginary. But then again from the relative perspective they do exist as thoughts .I mean even the present is imaginary absolutely speaking. But you have to consider both the absolute and relative perspective. I agree 100%
  6. No. There is not multiple POVs happening simultaneously. I'm you in a future incarnation . Right now only you exist. Nobody else. You will reincarnate and live through my pov .but until then my pov is not actual for you until you actually experience my pov .at which point it will no longer be "my" pov but yours .
  7. Good point. I see .yeah that's one of the reasons I don't want kids at this age .
  8. @machiavelli watch this video of Leo from beginning until the end . It's about authority and where does truth come from. You basically are the ultimate authority in the university. What you say is true becomes true for you. Stop projecting your authority outwards into external sources like NDEs reports .and reclaim your sovereignty. Good luck my friend .?
  9. Anyone who has kids or has spent time with kids knows how much joy they bring into the world. But nothing can beat the love parents have for their children! The love parents have for kids is everlasting and deep. This love will never reduce, even when children grow up. When i was somewhere between 6-8 my mom used to sing Me to sleep saying: "Butterflies have wings, so they can fly. Bunnies have legs, so they can hop and run. Fish have gills, so they can swim. I have a heart, so I can love you." She also used to tell Me that All I want to see in this whole wide world is for you to grow up happy and healthy. There is nothing more brilliant in this world than seeing your children growing up
  10. @Leo Gura unfortunately up unitl now..the majority of the votes are "no". Let us know when you make up your mind about this .
  11. If some of you notice I post a lot. Almost every day I come up with a new post .and I have a high post count. I will be honest about it ..the way I use this forum is not about "personal development " but just to chat with highly intelligent people from all over the world about interesting stuff that I can't talk about with my family or friends or anyone in real life . I specifically like the spirituality section. Where else in real life could I have such high quality conversation about the deepest existential questions like god and reality and death and free will and solipsism (to name a few of the topics that I'm interested in). So anyways ..any suggestions to how to use this forum properly and not just turn it into a distraction like playing video games or smoking?
  12. Glad that you liked it
  13. Such short answers are already what the poll is here for . If you are going to comment ..please clarify why do you think we should/shouldn't have this subforum.
  14. I agree with all of these .
  15. @Vynce you can voice your opinion in the poll. There is no need to call it bullshit.
  16. Lol. We can call it off topic discussion and entertainment.
  17. Oh no the politics one is awful..it's the main reason I want to balance the masculinity 0f that subforum with this feminine type of deal.
  18. Really? Are you being honest? I think you girls especially should be so excited for this .
  19. Sure .let's see Just try it out..of course..you can always take it down anytime if you notice it spiraling out of control.
  20. @Natasha @Inliytened1 guys I need your help here . Catched a troll ..
  21. @Leo Gura so when are you going to ban this idiot called @EmptyInside ??
  22. Imagine an atheist comes across a priest who tells them they shouldn't be. The priest's argument is as follows: "If you are a believer in God, and God exists, you will go to heaven. If you do not believe, you risk the possibility going to hell". Your earthly life is rather short. At the most, you will live a century. However, the afterlife is long, an eternity in fact. Therefore, you might as well invest your short earthly life as a believer, because if there is no God, you don't lose much time, but if there is a God, you gain an eternity in Heaven." Is the priest's gamble worth it? Does it seem convincing to consider becoming a believer? Now I know that most people here think that God is themselves. Not some old guy living up in the clouds . But have you actually awoken to the fact that you are God or are you just parroting ideology? You must be honest with yourself. Don't fuck with existential truths .get serious. And seek clarity.
  23. A weird mix .I guess it makes sense cuz SD is just a model not a territory. I studied the model a lot for myself. And in the end you just gotta let go of it, cause reality is so vast that the model itself limits you. Don't think you just can slap a label on a country or a person and say that it's either blue, orange or green. It's just a mix of everything.
  24. I agree. Nationalism has a disturbing history in our country. Also , Nationalism has a disturbing history in America. It is ingrained in American culture that their nation is the best in the world. In President Trump’s Fourth of July speech last year year, he praised the American Republic “as the greatest, most exceptional, and most virtuous nation in the history of the world.” Nationalist ideology begins in schools. Aside from repeating the pledge every morning, nationalism is fixed in public school curriculums. In history class, America is portrayed as the “good guy” that’s always on the right side of history. History curriculums often conveniently leave out the not so appealing parts of American history where their country wasn’t on the “right side.” I obviously want the same for Indian because I'm biased towards it . Do we have any maps or way of categorizing countries based upon their overall level of values development based on the model of Spiral Dynamics? I was just thinking about having clarification on this. For a few examples Places such as The United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, etc all seem to be at a primarily stage orange level of development. However places such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, etc appear to be at a blue stage of Spiral Dynamics values development. I was wondering what stages the various countries of the world are at. Perhaps we could create a thread of where we think certain countries and regions would fall on the spiral. Red countries, blue countries, orange countries , green countries, etc. I'm not exactly sure where does India belong in the Spiral.
