Overall, porn is a bad thing. I mean No one will die, and it's something we can keep private for the most part. But When we continually train the brain to be aroused by a video on your phone or monitor screen, it may have major consequences for when we do have REAL INTERCOURSE. We start to develop ED (Erectile Dysfunction) as we train our brain for high-intensity stimulus. We're able to skip to all the good parts and watch tons of girls in each masturbation session versus having sex with one girl. When the intensity of porn is much higher than actual sex, we have a problem. We want more. We need more. Real sexual intercourse will not do it. Furthermore, when we watch porn, we're training ourselves to last only a few minutes. We can watch 2-10 videos before we decide to orgasm. We don't spend hours and hours watching porn. This leads to premature ejaculation. Although society considers sex as natural, we know that it can turn into an addiction such as with alcohol, tobacco and gambling. When does someone actually turn into a sex addict? What are the parameters which differentiate having a normal sex life to one that’s “too addicted”? It’s difficult to tell since there are so many degrees to addiction, but a good tell can be if it’s apparent that it’s affecting your life. For example, if you have to be at work at 9:00am but you’re consistently late due to “needing a sex fix”, you have a problem. Another example can be if you’re needing to attend your son or daughter’s dance rehearsal but you never show up because you need to have sex. In these instances, it’s clearly affecting your lifestyle in favor of your addiction. When you look inside yourself and discover that you’re not able to abandon sex for common chores and errands, it becomes a big problem. If you continue to conduct yourself in the same manner, the consequences are disastrous for yourself and your friends and family. If the addict does not decide to take control of their addiction, he or she will not get the help they need, so the addiction will continue to consume their lives and their behavior may result in serious, negative consequences. Unless they seek counseling and help from anonymous groups, these negative feelings will only increase the addiction cycle that feeds a sense of guilt and leads to despair.Have some balance and enjoy life at the same time.

Yea but in the dream of separation it is still possible. Don't forget we are not the godhead itself. At least in our human form. We are creations of God..not God himself. Of course in the ultimate sense we ARE God but God is dreaming right now that he is not God. So to say we are God and we are allowed to do all evil shit and there won't be a punishment of our deeds seems like spiritual bypassing . -
I don't know what you mean by " chi" but you never run out of semen .even if you literally cum everyday. Your testicle create new millions of sperm cells each day . Now this is not to say that masturbation is harmless. I'm totally against it. But just for the sake of scientific clarity.

Stop repeating this in every topic concerning porn and masturbation. Porn especially is incredibly unhealthy and toxic and addictive and twists your view of women and sexuality. Also masturbation is not worth it. You just drain yourself for the sake 8 seconds of tingling sensation.

Interesting perspective. Got me thinking. I will try to keep an open mind to that . But basically all I can say is that in the end God is all wise and all loving ..he doesn't fuck around or play games ..if there is hell then that must be the greatest good possible for those who deserve to go to it . Then again as I said. Gods love and mercy will win at the end and all will be well..and even the most sinful and evil people like Hitler will end up in eternity of goodness. -

Very true. Beautiful verses full of wisdom . ? -
Let's just create this fine distinction for the sake of the discussion.. "love" as a pointer.. As a word.. As a four letters appearing on a screen.. And "love" as the actual thing that is being pointed to with the word itself. The word itself is completely irrelevant.. For a non-English speaker the word is completely meaningless.. And when he hear it.. It is no different than the sounds of the birds . You have to Tell it to him using his language. And if he awoken to "love" he is gonna call it using his language's equivalent word.. And a Japanese person will use his own Japanese language.. An African person.. And Indian person... And so on.... That shows that truly the word itself is meaningless and irrelevant.. And this should be obvious because what is language itself after all? It is just a set of symbols to represent the world. The thing that is being represented is what is actual not the word itself. So whether you look at reality and call it love or not.. It is gonna look exactly the same before and after.. In sufism (Islamic mysticism) they have the 99 names of Allah (God). It contains all sorts of divine qualities such as "the wise".. "the magnificent".. "the all knowing".. The one " etc... But why 99 names?? It should be 100 to be a complete list.!! And the mystical secret to this is they call the hidden name the" greatest name of Allah ".. That is indeed the actual name the represents the essence of Allah.. And it is kept hidden to say that it is not even a" name " so didn't get stuck on names .. It is beyond names.. The greatest name is not a name.. It is the thing itself which is nameless.

Yes I agree. What a marvelous truth it is that “God is love” (1 John 4:8). He is neither cruel nor capricious. Because God is simple and not composed of various parts, we know that he does not merely do loving things but that he is love in his very essence. It is impossible for God to be or do anything that is in conflict with love. God provides a far better definition of love than do parents, a spouse, the entertainment industry, or our own sentiments. So we must have our notions of love shaped by the character of God rather than expect God to conform to our ideas of what love must do in all circumstances. There are times when what love truly is and does (i.e. God’s love) will conflict with what we believe love ought to do. Given that we are both finite and sinful we should expect this sort of gulf between the truth and our expectations. -
Why not?

At first glance, God’s love doesn’t appear to be much of a theological problem. First John 4:8 couldn’t be clearer: “God is love.” Of all the ways to describe God, that is certainly the most endearing and widely-accepted. How many times have we heard the phrase, “A loving God would never ____”? What that person is really saying is that I have my own idea of what love is, and I will only accept a god who loves on my terms. That is the subtle form of idolatry that many people..even many churchgoers..buy into today. The issue isn’t whether or not God loves, but whether the people proclaiming His love have the first clue what they’re actually talking about. True, God is love. But let’s not make the egregious error of assuming that’s all He is, or all He wants us to know about Him. The problem with God’s love, then, is that the discussion of it is being clouded and confused by people who don’t know what love is or who God is, and yet speak with assumed authority on both -
One of the biggest harms of pornography is that it twists your view on sexuality. It makes you think that sex feels like a trip to other world!!. When you actually have sex(if you did have sex then you know ) that sex isn't that good!. You will be shocked..it's boring and not that pleasurable in comparison to porn !. In sex ..The physical pleasure that you will feel in your penis is far less than masturbation..beacuse when you masturbate you can control the tightness and the grip on your penis and the speed..in sex you have a certain vagina with a fixed tightness which is way more soft than your monkey fapping death grip!. In sex you probably gonna have one person to have sex with..unlike porn when you can have sex with 100 woman in one fucking hour!. Your partner is more likely not going to be that perfect plastic goddess !..her teeth are not going to be all white and semetric!. Also ..sex requires more physical effort ..your whole body is at work..whreas in masturbation ..just your hand and you dick . I think sexual desire and lust is one of the most important and mysterious phenomena in nature . It feels so good but it's never enough..we are forever chasing that orgasm. In fact..there will never be such thing as enough ..even if you have one zillion orgasm with one zillion different women ..You will ask for more. It drains us, we know.. yet we can't help but desire it. Don't think that when you become old ass man in his 80's that you finally gonna be done with sex ..the lust in your mind will stay just the same ..you will just grow tired of chasing nothingness . This is why I truly believe that overcoming sexual desire is nessciarly to achieving happiness in life..true happens is not in sex..its in overcoming this endless obsession .In fact ..sex brings misery if you have noticed..for some reason In the hell ..you feel kinda sad after sex which is the exact opposite of what you expected ..yet you keep falling at the same trap.!! It remindes me of an experience they have done on rats..the rats push the button and they get a hit of heroin.. those rats keep pushing the button until they overdose and die . I don't want to sound weird..but sex can literally kill you if you don't control it!!!. PS :by no means I overcame sex.. i understand all the things mentioned above..yet if you open my skull you will find nothing but sex in there.!

@Michael Jackson just curious...are you an old forum member with new account or is this your first acccount ?

@Bando she is probably triggered. Freud might be right after all . Damn..life is so simple when you are not a woman ?

Right. The rules might be to reduce my posting frequency. Like one post per week instead of two or three posts a day

This thread is hilarious ?

I agree. Also..we guys like it when a girl compliment us . Compliments help guide your conversation through any awkward silence. Instead of pressuring yourself to think of something fun and creative, put the focus on him. A kind comment or compliment can help reinvigorate your conversation You might say, "I was really impressed how you finished that math test so quickly!" or, "I thought no one could pull off wearing a football jersey, but you really proved me wrong." Or anything else from this type.
-
Oh did you really mean that ? Or the sexual "value " of a dick is higher than a vagina? Lol P.S lol it feels weird talking about this. Freud was certainly a nutcase?

You gonna trigger the ladies here

I see. Look for ways to connect your conversation to something you’re really knowledgeable or familiar with. Good luck ?

I think you should first figure out a way to attract a partner first before you worry about what should you talk to him . Once you do that you can proceed into learning communication skills . Here's few suggestions: Ask open-ended questions. Open-ended questions require a longer answer than just "yes" or "no." Try to tweak your questions so he’s more motivated to talk out something in-depth, which will get the conversation going. Pretend to ask yourself the question first—if you can answer the question within a word or 2, it probably won’t keep your conversation going for very long. For instance, "What are your plans for the weekend?" is a better question than "Do you have anything exciting planned over the weekend?" If you’re feeling adventurous, ask a fun question, like "What’s the weirdest corner of the internet you’ve stumbled across?" or "If you had a budget of 1 million dollars for a party, how would you spend it?" Find and plan interesting and juicy topics that guys care about and talk with him about it .

Conversations with men tend to be more effective when there’s a clear purpose – addressing a problem that needs solving or making a point. Many men tend to fall into the ‘fixer’ mindset when communicating, preferring to tackle problems directly rather than discussing at length. If you’re talking about a sensitive topic, don’t make it into a big conversation – this can be overwhelming and make the bloke shy away. Tip: Keep it casual and low intensity. It may take a few short talks, rather than one epic conversation, to get him to open up. If I may ask ..are you even dating a specific guy at the time?
