  1. Death is in the future, isn't it so ? Now what makes you believe in the future? You've never experienced anything but the present. If you become so present, the notion of future will disappear from your mind along with the notion of death .
  2. What exactly do you find confusing?
  3. @VeganAwake whatever floats your boat. ❤
  4. In what sense do you mean that reality =imagination? Why can't you unimagine the walls of your house and bust through it ? What are the limits of imagination?
  5. Religions have called death the only truth and afterlife as the gift (or curse) that we get depending on our conduct on this planet. But I don't believe in this nonsense. Death is an illusion but not because the individual is an illusion (I somewhat agree with this claim ) but because death is in the future. And the future is at best a belief. no one really knows what lies ahead. However, one American medical doctor and scientist, Robert Lanza, in his book, Biocentrism, states that death could actually be a door to an endless number of universes. He firmly believes in the many-worlds theory and states that death doesn’t exist in these scenarios since all of these possibilities are taking place at the same time and the only reason we feel ‘alive’ is because of the energy operating in our brains. According to him, it’s just the energy and as per the laws of physics, energy can neither be created or destroyed, it just shifts from one state to another. When we die, there’s a break in our linear connection of times and space . And then we continue to exist through other people. Until you realize that everything is you..and everyone is you ..then you are not fully awake. I know you have made up your mind about what awakening really means (the realization that there is no separate self /aka non-duality). But I think you are limiting yourself to a great degree when you just narrow it down to this one little aspect .there are many aspects of awakening that you have yet to awaken to .but no worries I will not try to force my worldview on you .to each his own.?
  6. Not sure what do these have to do with anything.
  7. Yup . time is controversial. It feels real, always there, inexorably moving forward. Time has flow, runs like a river. Time has direction, always advances. Time has order, one thing after another. Time has duration, a quantifiable period between events. Time has a privileged present, only now is real. Time seems to be the universal background through which all events proceed, such that order can be sequenced and durations measured. The question is whether these features are actual realities of the physical world or artificial constructs of human mentality. Time may not be what time seems . this smooth unity without parts, the ever-existing stage on which all happenings happen.
  8. You are exactly correct. Past lives and next lives are imaginary. They are just beliefs .and reincarnation is a Hindu belief but its popular in the new age community and western spiritual communities because they think every idea that comes from ancient Eastern wisdom must be correct. But that's not the case . Past and future are imaginary. Only consciousness/present/direct experience is real.
  9. @Gesundheit2 why are you always disagreeing with Leo? Do you think that makes you appear smart or cool ? I'm asking because it's hard to take you seriously when all you do in this forum is disagreeing with Leo about everything in his teachings. Then why are you on his forum if you think he Is full of shit ? And btw..no its not mere philosophy or word play . I've explained clearly that the future is something you are imagining. all you have is the present. Which might disappear instantly for no reason at all because there is nothing that makes it glued at all. The future has zero actuality .and since death is defined as a bad event that will happen to you in the future..then death is imaginary too and you are immortal so long as you are still alive . I find it difficult or impossible to present an argument against what has been said here .but go ahead and explain yourself if you have valid reasons for disagreement and not just disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing.
  10. Totally worth it .I take : Zyprexa Prozac Invega Few months ago I suffered from extreme anxiety and depression and panic attacks. Now after taking these medications for a few months I feel totally different and the anxiety and mood swings have completely vanished
  11. Both red and black varieties have shown a positive effect . red powder does not have a significant effect on the increase in the sperm volume in men, while yellow and black types have more impact on this effect. Give it some time .its not like Viagra or Cialis that can work within few hours .you need to take it consistently for over a week to start noticing benefits. And trust me, the benefits are mind-blowing .
  12. Can a weak personality change towards a stronger one? I'm looking to change my very weak personality into a stronger one. I do realize I will never be able to go all the way, however I'm looking for pointers on how to do this. Google hits almost only junk on this. Do you know about anyone who has successfully done this? Is it even possible? Is there any research on this matter? I want to change this about me because I'm missing lots of opportunities. Basically, whenever in a group I have the least priority at pretty much anything. For example: if we (the group) are looking for solutions to a problem (and this includes a practical problem, or just picking a place to eat), my suggestion will always have less priority than other's, even when mine is obviously a better one. What's odd is that I'm a fairly bright person, with a pretty nice IQ, I know some of all popular topics, and a lot more than most people about a lot of topics. I'm usually the smartest person in the group, and the rest of them know it, but they choose to ignore it because of my personality. I don't stand up for myself in tough situations or when I get accused or mocked by other people. This is especially sensitive to me because I'm a guy ..and I'm around the age of my peak masculinity. So basically if I don't change NOW ,I won't ever change Any ideas?

  14. A round for you guys..describe your ideal girlfriend. What would she look like physically? (hair color, eyes, body type) What kind of a personality would she have? (shy, humorous, looks-like-she-always-has-her-shit-together kind of person?) How would you want her to act? Any turn-offs? (too clingy, not clingy enough) If you already have a girlfriend, what features do you like/not like about her? For me in terms of physical appearance..I l adore blondes ..slim fit body. Height doesn't really matter, I like feminine bodies. In shape but not an athlete. Don't care about boobies, as long as they are not overly big lol , butts are cool too. In terms of personality traits: One who knows what she's doing. I don't have to coach her how to keep me interested, she doesn't have to play games. She flirts with me back, and is sometimes better at it than me. She texts back, and texts stuff that is interesting that makes me want to keep the conversation going. Very intelligent. What about you guys ? .
  15. Recent work in neurology, cognitive psychology (etc) indicates that our non-conscious minds play a greater role in our thinking and acting than was previously thought. the conscious mind is just a particular portion of the whole mind. And yet, our intuitive grasp of ourselves and our minds seems to be that "I" am my Conscious Mind, and probably nothing else. We can see such attitudes, if we look, in almost every aspect of our human culture and lives. So I have created this topic to ask these questions: 1.Does the 'non-conscious mind' really exist? 2.Is your non-conscious mind part of YOU? 3.Is your Conscious Mind the only part of your mind that 'matters'? 4.Is there any benefit in considering the mind to have two or more parts, instead of as a whole? My own thoughts are that yes, the non-conscious mind exists; it is that portion of our whole mind that is not open to conscious scrutiny or awareness, and I think it is by far the larger portion. All of my mind is part of me, so yes, of course my non-conscious mind is part of me. Our Conscious Minds matter, but they aren't the only parts of our minds, so they can't be the only parts that matter. There is no significant benefit to considering the mind in pieces. Your thoughts?
  16. I'm currently working out at home using simple 10 kg dumbbells. I use a mix of milk , honey and eggs as a protein shake pre-workout . But I decided to do something different to gain more muscle weight instead of fat weight. I want to look skinny muscular instead of skinny fat (I have a belly ). Building muscle while water fasting So ive Been water fasting on and off since July 20th. . I want to start lifting to gain muscle around July 30th mark , while continuing to water fast to break down fat. Anyone know a safe way to build muscle while water fasting? Will lifting, and breaking up my muscles, cause my body to use my muscles as fuel to burn excess skin/scar tissue/fat ? Thanks for your help
  17. May I ask you what made you take that decision (to turn into a man ). Did you feel that you was born into the wrong body ? I'm really curious because this is a sensitive area that I have not much knowledge or experience in..so I wanna hear more about your story,if you don't mind .
  18. Agree with all of these . Are you a woman who turned into a man ?or a man who turned into a woman ? Probably the first one but your profile pic looks like a female .
  19. im suffering from low self confidence. I want my voice to be heard and recognized but having a strong personality will not make people respect my opinion, it'll just piss them off. it's very common in geeks to associate their worth as an individual based strongly on their intelligence. My experience growing up was such that I was social kryptonite. Got made fun of a lot in group settings so I retreated socially, big time. The ego needs to prop itself up by comparing to others and saying "i'm not like them i'm better because..." and in my case it was "i'm smarter". It's the same with any other group that is above average in some way, like attractive people who become vain, etc.
  20. Great ? . Keep meditating everyday. The ideal should be 1 hour every day . Once you master it ,you will shut down the mind .and when you shut down the mind you will experience reality as clearly as possible .and you will understand mystical experiences and mysticism.
  21. No. You need awakening to the nature of reality . Which is pure mystery and magic .that's why its called "mysticism ". Because existence is irreduciblely mystical. But none of it will make any sense to you until you have some nondual insights. Do you even meditate ?
  22. Sunfood Gelatinized Maca Capsules.
  23. I agree with the short thing .I too find short thin girl super cute and attractive. Not really into huge ass and tits . But I do care about facial beauty. That's the number one turn on for me. And a blonde hair mixed with blue hypnotic eyes are a killer for me
  24. @Something Funny fair enough. I respect your priorities.
