Most people objectify morality. I mean that literally: they turn morality into an object that they have to ‘discover’ outside of themselves or deep within themselves. But morality is a mode of reasoning, not a thing, and like other modes of reasoning it (hopefully) develops and matures over time and experience. We have one conception of morality now, but with a little more experience of the world we may come to find our current conception unworkable and develop a deeper philosophy about it. That is not less moral and more moral, or wrong and right; that is less developed and more developed. We are all works in progress. -

I think you are misuing or misunderstanding the notion of objectivity here . Objective VS subjective doesn't apply to these specific examples by their nature . However when we talk about scientific facts or data or information or moral codes ..then we can apply the notion of objectivity vs subjectivity in this case . I agree . I don't believe there is a fixed objective in life .everyone's born as a clean slate. And its our job to figure out the purpose behind our own individual existence. But of course that's not what most people do .they get brainwashed and programmed by society to fulfil the objective of the cultural norm . -

There is no objective reason. Any reason either way must be made up by you . In this case your reason seems to be fear of death. So say thank you to that frear .its what's keeping you alive. (That is in case you appreciate being alive). -
Someone here replied to Holykael's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Holykael Think of the mind as a drainage system in a house. When the mind is working correctly, thoughts and action flow clearly and cleanly. There is no disconnection between thought and action. There is no hesitation. When things need to be done, they get done. When the mind is not working correctly, unnecessary and stagnant thoughts clog up the inner workings of the mind and begin to pile up like raw sewage. Thought is repetitive and action is almost non-existent. This type of energy is very heavy, very dense. It’s like being trapped in mental quicksand. People who have been depressed or anxious for a long time know what this feeling is like. If you’ve ever had a main line clog in your house, you know that it is an unpleasant experience. For many people, their mind functions like this all the time. Thoughts begin to build up and pile up without proper disposal. The end result of all of this is a form of insanity to varying degrees. What if I get fired? What if she doesn’t like me? What if I lose a lot of money? The mind then begins to ruminate and chaos ensues. In this state, the mind becomes very dull, making it hard to pierce through anything. Here’s some of the traits of this state of mind: -Hesitancy -Anxiety -Neuroticism -Addictive behavior -Envy -Self-indulgence -Repetitive thought patterns -Any negative behavior you can think of Fun stuff, huh? In order to have the mind function as it should, one needs to realize two things: 1-Thoughts are just thoughts 2-Action must always be taken When you identify with thoughts too much, you begin to be weighed down by them. You end up being a slave to your thoughts. You become entangled in the world of matter, the illusion ..maya. -

@Holykael no .you keep attracting negative shit into your life by thinking in a negative way . According to the law of attraction, your thoughts have the facility to manifest in your life. for instance , if you think that positively and visualize yourself with enough money to measure comfortably, you'll attract opportunities which will make these desires a reality. On the opposite hand, if you constantly specialise in the aspects of your life that you simply are unhappy with, you'll still attract negative outcomes and experiences. -
Someone here replied to Vynce's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Vynce yes I read the post . and the reason I'm saying this is Because God is neither a male nor a female .and is both at the same time. Let's see how. Before we can understand whether God is male or female, we need to clearly understand that we ourselves are neither male nor female. We are at core spiritual beings, souls, whereas our gender refers only to our shell, our physical bodies. Our spiritual identity is eternal, our gender is transient. Hence both male chauvinism and feminism are two sides of the counterfeit coin of physical misidentification. Only when we distance ourselves from our temporary physical gender will be freed from the ideological preconceptions that are inevitably dragged into discussion on the gender of God. So in the conventional sense of the words 'male' and 'female' where these refer to bodily gender, God is neither. Yet God is both too..as seen in the worship of Divine Couples in the Vedic tradition. The highly inclusivistic Vedic definition of God as the source of everything, the cause of all causes, leads naturally to an egalitarian understanding of God .. as both male and female. -

You balance the masculine and the feminine By letting go of what you think is a gender specific concept. Since you are a guy .you need more growth in your feminine side . Don't worry, it's not about forcing yourself to do something effeminate, it an aspect of caring for creation, its feeding a baby, its being a compassionate problem solver, a nurturer. Don't get caught up in terminology or concepts of male and female or percentile and such. For all you know, your “balance” might be 70% masculine 30% feminine. What is important is allowing yourself to be who you really are.. your divine wholeness! These are just attributes that we all possess in different measure. Finding your balance assures the best functioning you, you can be. -

It's quite possible that the true nature of reality can never be known to humanity. Once we break it all down, we are left with the possibility that reality is not truly reality. Let's see: Everything that we are aware of, the world around us, our feelings, etc, is perceived because of our nervous system, correct? Without this nervous system, we cannot perceive reality. Now, think. How can we be sure that we perceive reality how it truly is? What if our nervous system is incorrect in perceiving this? What if all of this is an illusion, and I am but a figment of your imagination? And what if you are just a brain being experimented on, and everything you see is an extreme hallucination? What would you be able to do to prove this? Nothing, correct. All you can do is to continue with this life that you believe you are experiencing, and that you might or might not actually be living in. -

I believe that everyone has psychic abilities just like everyone can swim. Some people either aren’t given the chance to learn or don’t want to. The Christian traditions have put heavy negative connotations on indigenous shamanism of all kinds hence why much of it is labeled “occult” Because it’s very hard to fake such powers now days. There used to be a lot more . It is a given to the scientific community today that there is no such thing as psychic abilities. so psychics are now very scared to get caught, and there’s a lot less of them. Do you know of one such real psychic? About Jesus..There is no contemporary non-biblical evidence to show that Jesus ever even existed, certainly not as described in the gospels and other New Testament stories. So I wouldn't rely at biblical evidence of the supposed miracles he performed. -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Of course he can! God is, after all, a God of miracles, and what is a miracle but something that is impossible. God can’t possibly exist, but he does ..it’s a miracle! It’s impossible for a timeless, spaceless entity to interact with time and space, and yet he does ..t’s a miracle! Anything that is impossible, whether it be physically or logically, is by definition within God’s abilities. Heck, he can even be simultaneously omnipotent and completely powerless. He can do whatever we can possibly imagine he can do because, of course, he is a product of our imagination in the first place. -

It is said that some people create certain powers or Siddhis but the truly enlightened ones do not accept these Siddhis as the right path. Therefore one must not pursue trying to get Siddhis and after getting Siddhis sink into a material world using these powers. Because these powers are part of Maya, the cosmic illusion, they do not liberate us, they do not give us Mukti, Moksha, Nirvana or Enlightenment. These Siddhis are a trap. We create certain powers whether it is through Kundalini or through the other so called yogic practices. Regardless of whether they are truly powers or some magic, we have to stay away from them, and move towards the ultimate Truth. What do you think? Do you think wanting to attain siddhis distracts us from the path to truth or enhance it ? -

But what good is certain set of morals if they are not objective/universal ? I personally don't believe in absolute morality. That there is no such thing as objective objective good and bad . Yet i expect people to act good to me. So I still have that bias . Therefore I'm not really a moral nihilist. I have to accept that the whole humanity will spit on my face and still not feel its badness. -

@onacloudynight make peace with your past. You can't change the past. Its over. Its done . All you can do is just accept it and surrender to It. However, I'm curious as to why exactly do you want to forget your parents? -

If every day was a sunny day then there wouldn't be anything special about a sunny day. It would feel like any other. If every day was a good day for you, then you wouldn't enjoy it. It would just be a normal day to you. We need contrast in our lives. We need those bad days to truly enjoy the good days. So appreciate them, not for how they make you feel, but for what they allow you to feel. Because… that’s just life. We have expectations on how we want things to go, and sometimes, and I’d argue most of the time, things just don’t work out the way we want them to. Thus, a bad day is created. -
I think a little porn here and there in moderation is fine .

What you seem to be asking is ‘Can an omnipotent god make anything happen?’ and the answer is yes, provided it’s possible for it to happen at all. It’s possible for a galaxy to turn into a giant turnip, as far as we know, so an omnipotent god could do that. But it’s not possible for something to both be a turnip and not be a turnip at the same time..at least, we can’t conceive any way in which it is possible.so he couldn’t make that happen. And if a god claimed to have done it, we would have no way to check that claim ourselves, or to communicate the result meaningfully to anyone else. -
A man only Upon his death he stops making Testosterone. Males will make Testosterone through the Testicles as long as he is alive. As males age, their Testosterone levels decline but a 90 year old man should still have a Testosterone level of 300. Whereas a Teenager would have a number up near 1000. Now there are many mitigating factors such as injury to the Testicles, castration, deformities, cancer, diet, smoking etc that can or will effect the level a male has, but as long as he's breathing, he should still be making Testosterone . So you shouldn't have a serious decline in testosterone in your thirsty . Would you mind answering this simple question for me ..are you still able to pop a boner (get hard ) and maintain that erection for few minutes?

No it takes time to recover from an orgasm. It's called the refractory period . Once you cum..you lose interest in sex for a few days and sometimes few months .

Yes sexual energy =creative energy Channeling sexual methods have been kept secret becasue they can be dangerous. Nowadays many techniques are out in the open. I don't recomend most, so I won't give details on methods. Sexual energy, when it is released from a person is draining. Chanelling it to move inwards keeps the energy from being released out, and the person is not drained. Chanelling is guiding the movement internally.

I believe it starts to die down at the 40s not the 30s Although it's usually not because of age but because of lifestyle and bad habits like smoking, drinking and eating junk food . All of these kill your testosterone levels. Which begin to decline anyways once you hit your 40s
