Just like how you adopt your mother tounge language. How do you do it ? You don't. It gets injected into your psyche since being infant . A newborn or infant mind is like a sponge. You can absorb anything. Whatever you get indoctrinated into becomes the only truth . Once you grow up you obviously start doubting. Make no mistake about it but not a single religious person in the world have not have doubts about his religion at some point . But then fear kicks in and blocks your mind from thinking. Because "God will burn you forever if you reject the said religious beliefs".

It seems like they happen for a reason.. will grant ya that . But actually they don't happen for any reason other than God's will if you understand. Just like when you dream of a bird shitting on your suit ..it seems like the shit has fallen down because of gravity ..but once you wake up you understand gravity was imaginary and the shit falls down because of your will as the dream's author. Something like that applies to "real life ".

This is a problem im facing ..at this point im clueless about how to go about the rest of my life ..practically speaking like studying and career-wise ..the main reason is my discovery that i can't be certain of anything than this present moment. How can i know that studying hard will make me get wealth and payoff ? That's just one example. I am 100% certain that I am conscious and i exist but it is not possible for me to know with 100% certainty that other humans.. non-human organisms..the Earth and the rest of the Universe actually exist. I perceive my body..animals.. the Earth and part of the rest of the Universe. It is possible that what I perceive is either a dream or a hallucination or an illusion or a simulation and not objectively real. It is also possible that my perceived reality is actually real.. but I have no way of knowing this with 100% certainty. Given the fact that I cannot know with 100% certainty what is objectively real.. how can I know what is morally correct with 100% certainty? Hoe can I know anything on the practical level if i don't know anything on the metaphysical/existential level ?

I'm focusing on quitting smoking and getting a job and hopefully getting married and having a family . After that I can actually sit down and wonder what anything is all about when I'm 50-60 yo.. Instead of mentally masturbating on a forum . But masturbation feels GUUD isn't it ?

Sounds like Islam's philosophy. Keep bowing down to Allah 5 times a day which is a good ass muscles exercise and then in the afterlife you shall go to heaven and have orgy with 72 virgins . If you think about it ..this life is the only thing we know for certain .nobody got the tiniest clue what happens when die . So you have two choices: 1-make this life heaven . 2-or detach and crawl in a cave so that all the existential noise and madness stops annoying you .

This is actually a very valid and good point . You think or imagine "universe ".. Then it seems like" yea obviously there is a universe out there beyond my thoughts about it" ..But if you stop thinking "universe " then there is literally no universe. Does anything exist except direct sensory experience(like the place you are in right now ) if we stop all thinking ? In fact if you stopped thinking then even direct sensory experience is not that even. It's just ___.

@Dodo "god " is not an entity . God is a state of consciousness. Thats how i understood it . You can call it god ..nihilism..liberation..not giving a shit or anything.. but at some point you have to have the courage to surrender all fear. You have to be able to dance naked in public and not give two squats what people think cuz you're fully conscious of something that is beyond words . Surrendering fear is inevitable because you have no other choice .you don't have to do it .it will be done out of your own will.so no need to worry . You can sleep tight.
