  1. Oh I didn't notice . Unfortunately the editing function have disappeared because its been few days since this thread was posted . I definitely meant "truth".
  2. Infinity must include all possible finitude. Otherwise it wouldn't be infinity. So we are actually both infinite and finite simultaneously.
  3. Yes ,..it's "all there is unfolding" ..that's the big picture . But I'm talking about relativistic truths . Like for example creationism VS evolution by natural selection. Why there is debates everywhere around this subject ? Can't we find a bottom line to this debate and know with 100% certainty what's true and what's false regarding this issue or similar to it ?
  4. I agree with you my man . I'm just saying not everyone is conscious enough to recognize that . Don't assume that just because it seems so obvious and clear to you that It must be the case for everyone.
  5. False .there are . Absolute truth is not a heavenly otherworldly realm filled with gods and angels .its your direct experience exactly as it is . As simple as that .
  6. I agree. In fact ,there is not even an objective truth that we all can agree upon .and that's because there isn't an objective reality. The two are linked together. Every human being is a whole world onto itself. The universality of truth is a girly childish dream. Only with God in the equation who is universal by definition, Man is not infinite and cannot arrive at it by speculation or conjecture. objectivity is not attainable. But whatever truth you come to realize in your own direct experience is true for you specifically. but not belief; one must differentiate these.
  7. Agreed. I noticed that as people grow up they become less aggressive, less intellectually violent .and more peaceful and surrendered. Its almost impossible to find an old person who gives a shit about political debates anymore lol.
  8. You can't have happiness and freedom from suffering without knowing the truth . In fact I would say that 90% of the reason why people are miserable is because they are lost in confusion and got no clue what's true and what's false anymore . I agree with you that the quality of our experience is what matters the most ..but that can only come after you awaken to that fact . Don't assume that it's obvious or everyone know this .
  9. ..so prioritizing the truth over being right.or maybe the other way around ? If truth is the most important thing to you then you are already marching towards it.
  10. Great. How would you describe this experience? What is it made of(matter ,consciousness, perceptions, sensations, pasta)? Where is it taking place ? In consciousness? Or outside of consciousness? Have you experienced anything outside of consciousness? and about the "I" ...let's just say that there is an appearance of a body typing on computer..do you agree that the body exists ? Its almost undeniable, right ? I will get back to this point again and add few more questions..but for now these are good to get us going.
  11. @axiom can we agree at least that something is happening? Like there is stuff and experience taking place right now ,right? I'm not defining it In any way. I'm just saying something is obviously here . Do you agree ?
  12. You are contradicting yourself. You say "I" would say. And then you deny that "I" exists .
  13. Awareness exists ,right? That's how you know that you exist ,right ? Now what is meant by "self Awareness " is the capacity that sentient creature have to be able to observe the world and interact with it in an intelligent and purposed way .unlike dumb inanimate objects like rocks and cars . @AnthonyR AI will never become conscious because consciousness is NOT and emerging phenomenon of physical matter. Its the other way around.
  14. I believe the illuminati . I have a theory that the world Is being runned by demons . Human demons .the people who are at the peak of power and control the masses are evil. Although I have no evidence to back up my claim . So I really don't know what I'm talking about ?
  15. Great quote ?. Seems like we will be around for eternity. Enjoy your infinite existential prison. Or don't .?
  16. @Leo Gura You mentioned recently that what reality is ,is a Universal Mind that imagines things into existence. And that there is no limit to what this mind could imagine or create . I want to know the mechanism of creation. Like how exactly does this mind creates ? Why do we have something rather than nothing ? How do we get anything from scratch ?I can think of my nightly dreams and by analogy I don't find a mechanics behind my dreams..my mind just dreams shit up out of thin air . Is that also the case with the universal mind ? Was that mind eternal and existing outside of time (because time itself is something it imagined and created ) Which lead me to the second question..if there is no limitations to what could that mind imagines..then does that mean that any hypothetical universe or creature I imagine in my mind right now, that thing exists ? So pink unicorns..flying kangaroos..Elfs ..creatures with different genders than male female (hyper genders creatures )etc..? All that exists ? And my last question is that what is the ultimate purpose of creation ? Does this universal mind have an agenda /plan /purpose / goal to what it creates ? Is it sentient or dumb (automatic)? Ļike does it spawn things into existence endlessly just because that's what it does and can't help but to continue to create infinitely? Or does it have a say in the matter? Like does it have control over what it creates or just creates randomly in a chaotic manner ? And my last question is what's the ultimate fate of all reality ? You said in one your videos that all things will eventually merge together in the Godhead and become formless forever. But then you said God will get bored of that and decides to divide itself again and go through an infinite chain of creation again . So does that mean that reality will never rest in peace ?it will always gonna be dreaming something? Thanks.
  17. You are right. In fact, I'm being lazy when I ask these kind of questions over and over again on the forum. All these questions you did answer and have whole youtube episodes about each topic I raised . I should work on deriving the answers for myself and stop assuming you to be my online guru who delivers me all the answers on a silver plate .
  18. Hmmm...If humans were told their purpose and the reason they were created, do you think they would follow that purpose? I understand that Humans were not created for a purpose. They just bubbled up from the primordial soup of quarks, as it were. Setting that aside, they do have a fabricated purpose, namely, to make things better, and for the most part, though imperfectly, they do adhere to that purpose, as I prefer to put it. Most humans do try to make things better, ultimately with a view to greater happiness for themselves.
  19. I see what you mean. There is no purpose other than whatever we imagine. Take, for example, the usual “purpose in life” self-help rubbish in internet articles . Take your pick: “Your purpose in life is to be useful” “Be like a brick!” (whatever that means, be like a prick would be actually more useful) “Respect animals around you!” (who the hell doesn't?) “Osho says bla, bla, bla…” Are you happy? Is this what you want? I didn't think so, either. So Instead of wasting my time with pseudo-philosophical BS, i should turn off my computer or smartphone and take a walk in the park. I know This won't help me find my purpose in life either, but it's good for health anyways. Thanks Chad ?
  20. So does that mean that Mind Is all there is ,and hence, there is no mechanism or method behind its process of creation ? Because that's what I sort of alluded to in my "nightly dreams " example...they just pop into your awareness while you are asleep out of nowhere . Entire worlds..down to every molecule are manifested just like that (snap ). Interesting stuff .thanks for sharing
  21. Had Ronaldo lost his touch? I’ll start this off by saying I love Ronaldo but his quality of playing is dropping significantly the last couple seasons . Unlike messi which only is 2 years younger than Ronaldo but we all saw how he led Argentina to the world Cup final. I think most of us expected a slowing down of his pace. But its his decision making and touch which seem to have suffered the most. It might just be me, or a lack of time on the ball but a lot of times he has played recently his touch seems off and shooting and passing have really gone down hill. Last season he still had a lot of doubters whilst still scoring loads. Despite not playing the full game every week this season how do you think he could change up his game? I Personally I would love to see him stay in the box more. As he clearly lost his dribbling ability. He’s not going to get better as age catches up with him but generally I think it’s lack of game time that’s getting to him more than anything else. What do you think?
  22. OK, seems like Leo chose to ignore the questions lol. If anyone interested in discussing these questions, please go ahead.
  23. Long read ahead..so go make some coffee This question is actually one of the deepest philosophical questions one may think of, and I am not absolutely sure if everyone who provided their answers in this topic fully understands the underlying thought of this question. It is a very intriguing question, and it is very hard to formalize in words. “Why am I me?” is indeed the best possible wording if we try to put it into English, but it still fails to provide an immediate clarity of what this question is about. Let me share with you some of my personal experience around this question first. I do not remember exactly when I asked myself “why am I me?” for the first time in my life, but it definitely was before my 5 or even before my 4. One of my very early memories related to this question was a sudden “discovery” that all adults (including my parents) were blind. Literally! OK, let me explain. I was a very young child (I do not even know what my age was, but I remember myself lying in a baby bed) when my mom came to my bed and started talking to me. And when I looked at her face (specifically paying attention to her eyes), I surprisingly discovered I could not see the world from her location. I cannot explain why, but back then, I expected that presence of someone else’s eyes would have immediately resulted in my ability to perceive the world from their point of view. It may seem ridiculous to you (and to present “me” as well), but at that time I probably failed to fully understand that my perception was only “my” perception .. I expected a somewhat “global shared field of perception” to exist. Of course, I did not (and could not) put this logic into words then, it was merely a vague “feeling”, but I do remember it well. And more and more observations of other adults at that time led me to a conclusion that they just cannot see, their eyes are somewhat “empty”. That funny story was not like directly asking “why am I me?” yet, but it was a kind of a “prerequisite” to it. Much older, when I already possessed a more “adult” understanding of the world (i.e. I already knew other people could see as well, I already knew I had not been always existing , as I initially used to think, I already knew children and adults were just different stages of aging, and not two “fundamentally different sorts of people” as it seemed to me earlier), but still being young enough (no more than in my 4 or 5) this question came to me for the first time. I did not have any wording for it yet - back then I just called it this question for myself. Much later, I found a somewhat suitable verbal form for it ..and it was “Why am I me?” . This question was so strange, so hard to explain, so hopeless to be ever answered, that it made me feel helpless every time I tried to think of it for long enough. It was sometimes even scary to think of it deeply, but at the same time my curiosity made me come back to it again and again. And today ..I'm finally able to find the answer to this question for myself. How ? Well,I noticed a very strange and unexplainable thing (and also it was somewhat frightening): I am “the center” of perception, “the center” of consciousness, “the center” of self-awareness. That was not anyone else but me. It made me feel as I was a very special, a very unique human being on the whole Earth. Why me? How come I was born such an unusual creature, not like anyone else? But on the other hand, I already understood that no one would believe I was special if I dared to tell it to anybody. So, I kept my “discovery” in a deep secret. And, frankly speaking, it did not feel that bad at all to be the unique center of perceptionBut I realized I would probably never find any explanation to that fact - and it was depressing. I am the center of perception in the Universe. At least, it is the way I feel it. Although I know that any other person feels the same, this knowledge comes from my daily practice. I can never be 100% sure that other people are conscious. Theoretically, there is a possibility that all other people are philosophical zombies.they act as if they had consciousness, and even if you ask any of them if that person is conscious, they will undoubtedly say “yes” .but it does not prove they are conscious .. they can be “programmed” this way. Of course, it is merely a theoretical possibility, but it cannot be scientifically disproven. As to myself, I am fully aware that I am conscious and not a philosophical zombie. Then a few months ago ..I stumbled upon Leo's solipsism video ..and since then my whole life changed and there is no going back . I awakened to what Leo calls "Absolute Solipsism " I can go even further then the classical concept of solipsism, and I can also deny time .which seems logical (later you will see why). Time is also an illusion produced by my mind and specifically by my memory. It is not possible to prove that the past existed . everything may have appeared just now, with the current state of my memory which cheats me. And it is not possible to prove the future will exist for the same reason .I know about the future based on my previous experience. But if all my previous experience is nothing more than a trick of my mind, then it is very likely there will be no future (as there was no past). All that exists is my mind at the present moment. Period. And so now I'm satisfied with my conclusions. I'm finally at peace of knowing why am I me. Because I'm God. The only being in the universe.
  24. @Breakingthewall i think reality is capable of infinite Self-Understanding. if I'm God and I created it all but I forgot how and why and where and when etc ..that doesn't mean I can't remember all that and have access to all that. Although I agree with you that it cannot be understood via the finite mind .we must expand our consciousness to understand.
