@Salvijus sanity vs insanity is relative distinction. However..There is Absolute Insanity that encompasses both . Sanity is a temporary defence mechanism or a trick you're using to try to escape from Insanity. But there is no escape. hate to break it to you . @Salvijus Go talk to mentally ill peopld .so-called mental diseases are potentially there in how the human mind works. You can observe yourself hearing voices in your head.. Talking to yourself.. Having opposing views (multiple personalities) etc. Yet it's just mild. So imo.. The symptoms of mental illness are potentially there in every human.. It's just in their case( crazy people) they reach a point where they are unable to control it anymore.. Whereas for the majority of people they are able to fake that they are a "person" with a linear personality. Sanity is a fake front a house of cards a mask you wear to cover your inner absolute madness.

@Salvijus I understand what you said . It seems like my point just flew over your head . I was trying to show you that logic itself isn't an absolute metric .you used logic to conclude something. I'm saying logic itself is a house of cards .rationality is a house of cards . Is logic an absolute? Logic depends on language for example. And language depends on meaning .and meaning is obviously relative and arbitrary .because these symbols or words don't mean something to the universe as it were .it just registers into your mind because you understand the English language. For a Chinese person who doesn't understand English there is no difference between what you're saying and blah blah blah . Now how does this connect to insanity is that people try to ground reality into something. In your case logic and rationality. But when everything is relative including logic and rationality..then reality isn't groundable.

@Anton Rogachevski This is a deep question. Like as deep as it gets .it requires writing walls of text . I suggest researching epistemology..Epistemology is a subfield in philosophy concerned with the question of how do we know stuff . Like should we use the senses or intellect or both or neither ..etc Generally I would say to be epistemically rigorous : 1-nothing is obvious. 2-nothing should be taken for granted. 3- everything is under a sharp razor of investigation..and if something is not true or doesn't make sense then it can suck my nuts.
