Terell Kirby replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes this is correct. The trap of solipsism for most humans is 1. Thinking their bubble of consciousness belongs to that of their human identity 2. Their self proclaimed bubble is the only thing in existence. All of this is false of course. We can become aware that the bubble in which we inhabit is one of many that we are imagining at the same time. It’s like having access to infinite maps on a video game ?. You can change maps, but you are the only player present. Question is, how can one access the bed of infinite maps whilst inhabiting a limited one? @Leo Gura I feel like I already know what your answer would be lol. -

And just to add clarity...bubbles that seem real do actually exist. Things can be imaginary and exist at the same time. Solipsism, relatively speaking, implies other bubbles do not exist. But they do, they are all just happening in imagination. The imagination itself is solipsistic because it’s the imagination of a single Being (absolutely speaking) The content of the dream can differ through the fragmentation / localization of infinite consciousness, but nonetheless, everything is happening in One consciousness. -

Awakening has been a wonderful journey to embark on, and I have so much more work to do. One thing that’s been somewhat daunting is the discovery of inauthentic I’ve lived my life up to this point (I am 30). Truth is a scary thing, and realizing it allows you to see your life and the lives of others from an honest lens. Personally, I am realizing my striving for success and comforts have been ultimately rooted in insecurity and certain traumas from childhood. That in which I took so much pride in, is really built on a flimsy house of cards and will never truly make me satisfied. I see this in so many others as well, at least I’m somewhat starting to break out of the matrix... I can already tell that going from living an inauthentic lifestyle to an authentic lifestyle will require much painful deconstruction, ending of toxic habits and associations, and constant shadow work. For those of you who have gone through this, or currently going through this, I would love to hear your advice.

@Thought Art Hmm..can't recall him mentioning that explicitly. He has taken certain jabs a pot, but only in the context of those who abuse it. Marijuana has been used for spiritual work throughout the ages, it is subject to abuse like most things of course.

The real question is how do we defeat this toxic ideology? It's so embedded in all of our important institutions (especially in the U.S.)..I guess implementing critical race theory in the education system is the first attempt to address it...But it's already receiving enormous backlash from far-right, center-right groups. -

Thank you all so much! This is truly insightful. There is so much wisdom to be had after the Great Realization. But alas, the awakening alone is just the beginning. The real work starts now.. Love you guys. -
@Leo Gura awakening is a tragic thing, you realize just how sad it is that the most beautiful realization can be resisted so vehemently. Revealing the truth automatically triggers the ego mind to project and demonize, or to find clever ways to deny that they are imagining all existence. We have many members of the forum that are more interested in mental masturbation than cutting through all the bullshit to get to the raw Truth. It’s starting to become a platform for fruitless debates.

I believe it's different for everyone. For me (heterosexual male), have always been hesitant when getting super involved with single mothers. Not sure what it could be (maybe the thought of taking care of another persons child, assuming more responsibility or potential baby dady drama). But that's just me. Any experiences or thoughts you'd like to share?

@OneHandClap There is no Buddhism without you (as God) constructing it. Don't give your power away to the Buddhist doctrine, you are much larger than that...larger than Christianity, Judaism, Islam..all of it. Notice there are no religions without your knowing/awareness/consciousness of them. You are God, constructing all of this

Actually, It is ego conceptualization that does not want to use the G word . It's very tricky...a master trickster!

Not sure what all the commotion is about. Human minds are very thick and dense, and in this case...the word God has to be used to get through all cleverly programmed defense mechanisms of the Ego. Language can only go so far, and this word (necessarily) pushes it to its limits. If you still identify as a human, you ain't woke..no matter how "awakened" you claim to be. Most of you don't want to take responsibility for constructing all of reality, especially your problems, neurosis, bad habits and people you resent/take issue with. Being God means you take full ownership of every aspect of reality. And that is hard for many Egos/dense human minds.

Experiment: Wherever you are, look around and ask the question, “where am I actually located?”. If you point to or make reference (using words) to anything, you would be mistaken. You are nowhere and nothing, but simultaneously aware of everything that is going on in present experience. Feels like a true “out of body” experience!

@Roy thank you, this topic requires a level of maturity that does signal some kind of warning lol.

Hi there! Good hearing this perspective. Most of my skepticism comes from general stereotypes. Best way to find out is through direct experience of course

It seems that the average response to sexual frustration is to find a solution via victim mentality, scapegoating and blaming. People need to realize that having an amazing sex life is not a given..and requires education, practice, courage, self reflection and responsibility taking. Who else has noticed this?

Terell Kirby replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Javfly33 thanks for being vulnerable. I was there too...spiritual purification is no joke, so many ways it can go wrong. To answer your question, you are God..and there is no way around it. Don’t become solipsistic though, you are able to imagine things from an infinite number of perspectives. This includes your human existence and the existences of all other humans. There are multiple perspectives, but one consciousness. That consciousness is yours, as God -
Noticing in spiritual work, it is extremely easy to demonize the Ego. The Ego is primarily responsible for our human conditioning. Of course, human conditioning comes with a lot of twisted shit in the name of survival, but it also is responsible for some attachments that cause feelings of tremendous joy for us. My question is, should we really “kill” the Ego? Or transcend and integrate it..thus making it healthier and non corrupt? After all, Ego is God’s creation..just as deserving of Love like everything else in existence.

Just took a THC edible and starting thinking very deeply . What we call existence is literally a simulation, all of it. All of the simulations have the same player. That player is some sort of Being that is experiencing every aspect of existence at once...it's also who all of us are. We've confused the avatar of the game (human identity) and its map with our true Being as the player. God is playing the game of my life, and of yours as well. We are this single player..we are God!

The freedom is not in the dream/game but waking up to the fact that it's a dream/game. The "rules" you speak of are also just imaginary, but they sure make things interesting/challenging . The words we use in defining the infinite (game vs dream) is going to have its limitations of course. Everything is One when all said and done. -
Terell Kirby replied to Terell Kirby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@cookiemonster if you don't want to use the word play, use the word imagine. There is no substance to reality outside of what your imagine it to be. And you do this...all the time....to infinity. -
Terell Kirby replied to Terell Kirby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is your own personal interpretation. A game is something you play, and the act of playing has no limitation. Keep in mind infinity is all that exists. -
Terell Kirby replied to Terell Kirby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Thought Art there's no "maybe" when it comes to the Absolute. You are God in an infinite dream/game. The awesome part is it never ends...making you immortal . All of "human" experience is a bi-product of your dreaming...otherwise know as consciousness or awareness. -

@Tim Ho Thank you! The reason I use the word game is to point you to the realization that the notion death has zero substance for any of us. This assumes you know who you truly are.. What makes life "serious" and "real" is the assumption that death itself is not imaginary. Yet....it is....again, from the Absolute perspective.
