  1. The necessity of money is also relative, for both personal and global economics. Elon Musk sees the need for money a different way than the average minimum wage worker at Wal-mart. 1 million would mean nothing to Elon, but it would be life changing for most wage slaves.
  2. The value of money is relative, there is no absolute answer to the question. Money means different things for different people. Find out what it means to you, and don't judge the meaning that others put on it.
  3. Guns don't make people hot-headed, it's hot headed people who use guns to project their ignorance / lack of wisdom onto others. As long as idiotic and low consciousness humans exist, we will have guns. The question is, how do we fix idiocy and low consciousness in humans? It's surely a close to impossible tasks, hoping that culture can naturally evolve through trial and error to not need guns.
  4. Has anyone met a virgin who was ok with their virginity? And by ok with it, I mean having no future plans to lose it (through marriage or developing the self esteem / sexuality) .. If so, you have found a unicorn.
  5. That is petty and immature behavior. I wouldn't encourage anyone to do that. If you can't let it go, at least be an adult and have a direct conversation with the person about how you feel.
  6. If I were you, instead of focusing on what my friend did to piss me off .. I would look at why I am pissed off in the first place. Don't give your power away to other people by having their actions determine the quality of your life. It's a recipe for disaster.
  7. Again .. take the necessary action that will inch you closer to getting more clarity on your life purpose. It's not a matter of how you'll do it, it's a matter of when you'll do it.
  8. In my opinion, the forum could actually improve in the way it monitors its users.
  9. I agree, the first person view is one of an infinite number of design orientations. My current set up is one of first person, it would be an assumption to say "ALL" human lives are designed the same way .. there is no way the finite human mind that I'm living in could possibly know that.. ..but hoping that some of us can relate to the analogy through their direct experience :-).
  10. Article below: https://www.npr.org/2021/11/30/1060260306/cnn-suspends-chris-cuomo
  11. It can be an RPG as long as you toggle your character in first person view lol. We can’t see our entire bodies without looking in a mirror , just pieces of it (arms, hands, torso, legs/feet etc).. as well as what’s in front of our avatar (although there isn’t an “us” that’s in front of what we see). whoaa
  12. Lol I can dig it. But in all seriousness, this is the closest I've gotten to really understanding what God is and how it functions in our lives. I hope others can arrive to these insights. Truly life changing .. why fear life when it's just a game?
  13. Classic case of corruption, all humans are vulnerable to it as flawed beings. I just hope he doesn't go off the deep end .. shamed celebrities tend to turn to drugs and alcohol. I wonder how Jussie Smollet is doing.
  14. I can say it's there because it's me .. and it's also you . When you look in the mirror you are seeing your avatar / character that you have selected to play out this life. You have mistaken the avatar to be who you actually are, but you're playing a fun game of dress up.
  15. Well..there is a player, but it has no form.. completely self-less.
  16. There is some truth to this, but solipsist is the wrong term. Recognizing that all perspectives is one perspective is key.
  17. Action, action, action. Just take action..doesn't matter what it is, just do something that you feel would move you in the right direction. Can be small or big.
  18. Why wouldn't you be conscious after death? After all, who even knows what death is? Assuming that they are not alive to come back and share insights with other humans.
  19. @BipolarGrowth Awesome, thanks for the background. I hope your platform becomes successful and makes a positive impact on others.
  20. Otherwise known as being in love with yourself
  21. All of these people you mention had to have extreme levels of discipline to be as popular as they are in modern culture. Following ones bliss often requires a level of discipline to manifest ones vision of a great life. Without it, all the folks you mentioned could have easily become drug addicts, drunkards, criminals, etc .. Of course you don't want to be a hard ass, and enjoy the journey .. but you must remember that anything worth achieving in life requires a crazy amount of hard work.
  22. @roopepa You are falling into the trap of making the work about Leo. Actualized.org is a means to an end .. that end being self actualization, life purpose and enlightenment. It's a bit unfair to criticize those who use it as a tool to obtain these .. it's our right to do so. The work has everything to do with how we use it in our own lives, the work has nothing to do with Leo or his platform.
  23. I would expect the moderators of the forum to not buy into half-baked insights with no validity to them. It definitely reduces the quality of the platform.
  24. False. Your answer solidifies your level of awakening .. which is zero. I suggest you stop trolling folks here on the forum, it won't end well for you (possibility of being banned).
