  1. Loneliness is essentially a dissatisfaction with the present moment .. of what is. Causes: At its core .. a lack of gratitude and appreciate for life.
  2. Y'know .. it is possible to talk about these things in plain English. If you don't fully realize that the One you speak is God, and that it's also who you are .. then you will continue to be lost in the labyrinth of your mind. You are the see-er man .. nothing more, nothing less.
  3. Maybe, but don’t rely on them as magic pill. Awakening is way deeper than being dissociated. Be really careful about the drugs you put in your body as well.
  4. The primary puzzle we need to solve in this work is leaving our bodies without doing any physical harm to it. Deeply contemplate this and you’ll get some pretty profound insights into the nature of reality.
  5. God ain't a story or some fable you tell by a warm bonfire, eating s'mores and laughing with stupid friends. It's way more serious and life-threatening .. to your ego that is.
  6. This is a problematic exercise, as God takes on all qualities that can be imagined. Including the opposite of your list: Lack of creativity Lack of compassion Lack of Love Lack of Intelligence Lack of Flexibility Lack of Nuance Repressive Sexuality Avoidance of Truth This is the beauty of God, since it's infinite .. it can manifest itself as any and everything. God is not located in humans, God is the consciousness that manifest them into the fabric of reality. But if I had to pick for the sake of this discussion, unconditional (Absolute) love is key .. being able to love that which is not loving, healthy or spiritual in humans...and in yourself (body & psyche).
  7. This is what Goggins does to his emotions through high intensity physical challenge.
  8. There is absolutely nothing green about David Goggins lol. He's high blue, low orange at best. From the Susanne Cook-Greuter model on stages of ego development .. he falls solid in the 'Achiever' stage, which is conventional level cognition. More delusion.
  9. Yep, you are the only one that can sort out your own BS. The beauty of it is that you can also determine what things mean for you in life .. thus assigning positive meaning to even the crappy things in life. Great job, keep it up.
  10. From what I understand, it's being logical without thinking .. which is quite the paradox. We can maybe equate it to being ultra intuitive when it comes to problem solving. Tools used for problem solving and determining cause and effect relationship is not based off of conceptual models, but elements that are present in ones direct experience at any given time.
  11. @Yarco thanks for the feedback. I would have never thought to remove identifiable info, but doing so cuts straight to the actual skill-set.
  12. Hi guys, Mind sharing any helpful tips and resources are creating a stellar resume / cover letter? My problem is I have a vast array of work experience, but finding it difficult to condense in one page .. at the same time, make it attractive to the person reading it (spacing, color, fonts, etc).
  13. 'How To Win Friends and Influence People' - Dale Carnegie
  14. Ok thanks for clarifying. I don't think this possible. Notice how folks are still able to attain hard drugs and other illegal substances, hell .. we talk about using psychedelics on the forum all the time lol. History has shown us this .. we've tried bans on alcohol, porn/prostitution, the 'war on drugs' via Nixon administration. All have failed, humans find ways to get their hands on what they crave the most. Draconian efforts to ban things is like putting a band-aid over a festering wound. We need to address the wound which mostly comes from issues with mental health. Money and resources need to be poured into resources for psychology issues than into outright banning things we deem bad for our health. Take Oregon for example, who recently legalized tons of substances to not fill up prisons, and focused on more on recovery programs. We can make the same case of the legalization of weed. Gun control is needed, but we have more foundational things to address as a society. Agreed.
  15. Even if this is the case, to fix the problem would you: Go on a campaign to ban soda worldwide? Deeply investigate your cravings, change your relationship to soda? Addiction is not about the substance, it's what we are seeking to use it for .. Same with guns, they are not the originator of violence .. a person's twisted psychology is. After all, someone has to pull trigger for the gun to do it's job. I advocate focusing on the psychology of the trigger man/woman versus the tool itself.
  16. Saying you'll never do something again leads to more judgement. Are loving enough to not judge the moments where you don't feel so loving towards yourself? This is real love .. unconditional.
  17. Pros: screw up your health (whether intentional or non-intentional), pay little to no cost for repair. Cons: Higher taxes (particularly for the most wealthiest folks in the pot). It's really that simple. Society has to come to a consensus on what to do. Ideally the pros outweigh the cons when you see such a disparity between the poor working class and the wealthy elite. But conservatives and corporate lobbyist have done an excellent job distracting the poor working class from the fact they are getting royally screwed, by means spreading false narratives about socialism, immigration, erosion of Christian values and white genocide.
  18. Not really into video games, but I think it's a good analogy. Our human lives / realities are like first-person shooters, in reference to the design and layout. Of course, there is One player.. and I'm not going to use to 'G' word because I know it triggers a lot of you. Just know you are that player!
  19. Oh I've opened some doors lol. The finite cannot encompass the infinite, it's the other way round.
  20. People can be violent without the use of a gun. Just like they can be violent with the use of other weapons. If someone is addicted to eating food, and goes crazy on cookies, cakes and ice cream .. we don't say that the desserts are the problem. It's the psychology of the person that is the issue. I'm not pro-gun rights, but these kinds of topics are more complex than just outright banning guns. We have to shift the mindset of humans to where they don't even see the need to own a weapon in the first place.
  21. what about me? lol My opinion is unpopular, but it's as close to the truth as I can fathom. Guns are not the problem, it's the folks that yield them.
  22. Yup, and awakening is what rids of your identification with the avatar. Also remember that the developer / player has no physical form. It's invisible and can't be known .. it's sole purpose is to experience the game of life, which is an infinite number of conscious states.
