  1. Yup, that's all you can do.
  2. ~ 2 years None; only THC (if considered a psychedelic) 1 hour daily Better; understanding of reality is everything. (Can make things confusing at times, but it's all worth it). Make sure you have a relatively healthy mental, physical and emotional state before pursuing spirituality.
  3. This might happen when one realizes that our efforts to enlighten "others" are futile .. and that you are only thing that Exists in the Universe .. Therefore there are no "other" beings for a spiritual ego to be superior to, and to educate.
  4. Lol never said I had a problem.
  5. There is some truth to this perspective in a sense that a lot of folks do make the mistake in making this work about Leo .. therefore turning him into their guru, lord and savior that they worship on a daily. It’s one of the biggest distractions one can fall into with Actualized.org. FYI - you are imagining Leo .
  6. I agree to some extent. On the path, we become aware of reality as having no distinctions. But what we become is the Creator of the reality in which we see no distinctions. This is how I separate the basic insights of Non-Duality from actual God-Realization. (I acknowledge that this distinction can be collapsed on the simple truth that they are both mental constructions). This is based on two of questions which are: 1. What is reality? 2. What is my relationship to it? Feeling into can answer number one, becoming (otherwise known as Being) can answer number two. But then again .. all of this is just words, language is way too limited to convey anything of deep substance.
  7. You are already Existence, but that does not mean you are conscious of it. The knowing of one’s True nature is critical. The process of going from not-knowing to knowing is the process of becoming. It is the spiritual path. Becoming is God-Realization, which many new age spiritual teachers shirk and deny by focusing solely on feeling techniques and cessation. Those are useful, but there one must aim higher to bear the most fruit.
  8. Well since you are responsible for the dream, a limited existence is what you actually want at this moment. Can you see how tons of suffering is created by fighting against something you actually Created? Loving all of reality is the hardest thing to do as a human .. but can be done by transcending your human identity. Awaken, awaken, awaken .. that’s all I can tell you.
  9. You need to read between the lines. Right now you take life as something that’s real, and that is an experience happening in your brain as a human. Waking up entails changing your perception of what life actually is. Which is your imagination, including your physical body, it’s identity and biography that is couched in space, time and materialism. None of it is real
  10. Suffering comes from taking life as anything other than God’s dream. The Buddha realized his entire existence was something God was dreaming. Even further, he realized that his true nature was that of the dreamer .. God itself. This brought with it the end of suffering. Every Being in the Universe, including yourself, can realize the same through awakening. The Buddha did it, as well as other mystics throughout history (Jesus, Mohammed, etc.)
  11. Yes, feeling into Existence is an important step, but only a prelude to becoming Existence itself. All should keep this in mind while on the path.
  12. Actually, the illusion itself is you forgetting that you are God .. thus mistaking yourself to be human. If you awaken properly, you'll be able to break out of it.
  13. So many hot people in Vegas lol .. What's funny is God literally created the city of SIN .. talk about paradox
  14. Sending my compassion and empathy towards your situation. The first, and most important, step in recovery is simply having the desire to get on the right track. I think the forum can be useful to you for emotional support, on top of other channels (AA, church groups, counseling, etc). I'd spend the next 1-2 years really diving into Actualized.org content on YT (specifically on subjects like spirituality and psychedelics). It really pulled me out of a dark place .. assuming you watch it with intention and do the practices. The book list has some material on emotional mastery, and the life purpose course can help you find a path towards living a life in service to others .. that could do well in lifting some of your depression. Best of luck.
  15. @Fearless_Bum Are you the new guru of the forum? lol.
  16. That’s wild lol. I like how she fully embraced it. Takes confidence.
  17. Disorganized- thanks for sharing the survey and reading material. Very insightful for those of us on the spiritual path.
  18. Trying to fix others is usually a recipe for codependency in a relationship. You may want to investigate where this urge that you have comes from. Loving someone authentically also means accepting their flaws. Accepting doesn’t mean tolerating though .. you can choose to stay or go, but never try to change people.
  19. For me, open minded/spiritual correlates with progressive cities .. most being Cali and the Pacific Northwest. The Bay Area (San Fransico/Oakland) has been the most liberal/progressive place that I’ve ever been.
  20. Right. In any case 800k could be good depending on the city dynamics itself. I’d check for things like travel destination popularity, and the amount of influences/ presence of millennials. Night life vibes are also essential.
  21. I hear you .. but 100k sounds limited in opportunities to find a good quantity of attractive women to possibly date. Weigh the cost, but don’t let that be the sole reason not to move to a bigger city. You can furnish a small studio apartment into a pretty cool bachelors pad .. it’s really just the mattress that counts if you know what I mean
  22. We are pointing out nuance from Leo’s claim that 800k is too small. Population size might not be the only measuring stick for opportunities in pickup for a particular city .. Las Vegas as an example. Hence me pointing out other factors like culture/vibe. And I’ve been the Las Vegas (Aria Resort & Casino on Blvd.) so I know who’s in the hotel rooms there…I hope have gone there yourself with this amount of sarcasm lol.
  23. @Leo Gura what would you say is a minimum decent population size for pickup/singles looking to mingle? Vegas population size is around 600k .. so not sure if it’s population size, but maybe more so culture / vibe.
