Which is why I could never go for a career in podcasting. @Leo Gura have you ever considered doing an Actualized podcast? -
Do it! Youth is everything.

Of course, how could I get my own Mind is an Infinite game
-
Example of infinite games? What agents are good at those kinds?
-
Great example- thanks @Leo Gura

Mind providing context? Examples helps us get a better understanding of what valuing truth looks like in practice.

I’m finding the same applies to wage slavery. It’s like breaking away from one form of slavery (living with family), by means of another form of slavery (wage slavery). Financial independence is on a spectrum it seems .

I’d personally like to see more in depth videos on human corruption and depravity, not to moralize but to deepen my understanding I think a lot of us actually do understand that what you are talking about isn’t moralization, rather it’s helping us be able to see one’s level of epistemic corruption as it relates to being further or closer to Truth. Corruption is on a spectrum, and no human can maintain its survival without some degree of corruption. I think a lot of your audience wants to connect with you on a human level (me included)-maybe you can talk a little bit more about your personal experience with corruption, ways in which you have been corrupted by your own survival and the challenges you’ve had to face. I commend you for your post, but it’s the first time that we’re really hearing about how your insights have been psychologically taxing on you (since starting the topic of corruption and being epistemically perverted).

Trump's bogus pick for FBI Director-Kash Patel. He peddles numerous right wing conspiracies about the "deep state" and mainstream media- and is a Trump loyalist-He was previously investigated for involvement in Ukraine-Russia collusion scandal during the Trump administration. He is threatening to "drain the swamp" and go after those who have investigated Trump for previous crimes. Insane.

@Leo Gura i watched both episodes of you on his podcasts. I do commend him for trying to understand what you were pointing to, but seems as though he was thoroughly entrenched in scientific/rationalist worldview, it was rough seeing him struggle to break out of it. He’s a great thinker in his capacity to construct sophisticated models & TOEs .. but cannot transcend the construction process at a meta level.

Thanks Leo!

Can't argue with that, but of course much of the world's education systems are corrupt and don't facilitate proper education and opportunities for personal development to happen on any deep level. It's a systems issue that Green values bring some attention to (corruption of education/political systems by toxic Orange). -

This assumes the growth and development of the lower stage is not contingent on the enforcement of Green values. But how is it the case people get to Green then? I would think delivering on some of those values, even among the underdeveloped masses, plays some role. -

The 'S'elf is Pure Consciousness & Awareness. The concept of no self in non duality and Buddhist circles is false. The Infinite Self is all that exists. -

Damn, why is it we can't get away with endless pleasure whilst keeping our mind free from devilry and corruption? Seems God designs us to create our own mental traps and fall prey to them at the same time. It's an ingenious design.. -

Thoughts on how one develops discernment? Seems to be a product of wisdom gained from developing awareness of distinctions & opposites through a set of experiences in a particular field or arena. The Trump question focuses on how good one is at distinguishing a bad faith actor/con artist from someone with honest and pure intentions. The same mechanism is at play for people who get seduced into abusive relationships or ponzi schemes for example. -

Such a victim mindset. -

This has become more apparent to me in the past weeks with everything going on in politics. It’s been difficult to accept and come to terms with the evils of humanity. Through some deep suffering of my own, I’ve come to grips with the fact that to be human IS to be evil. Devilry, ego, bias and selfishness is baked into DNA-it all serves our survival needs. Some humans are more evil than others, not on moral grounds but on level of crudeness in how they go about surviving. Yet as long as our Consciousness is in human form-we’ll always be somewhere on the evil spectrum. What’s give me some solace is a reframe when it comes to my own personal development. The goal was never to cease being evil, but pushing to become less evil each and every day-well knowing that I can’t ever fully escape it in human form. I can also make genuine attempts accept human devilry as part of God’s creation (with Love). -

Interesting article on how the Israeli defense and law enforcement uses facial recognition technology to enforce apartheid under the guise of security: https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2023/05/israel-opt-israeli-authorities-are-using-facial-recognition-technology-to-entrench-apartheid/ -

The definition of intelligence is highly subjective, doesn’t span across all domains. One can be intelligent spiritually and in other domains, but completely in the dark about global politics/ideology and its effects on systems. People who voted Trump are not “evil” on some made up moral basis. But they did something abhorrent and fundamentally irresponsible by ushering a low integrity, narcissistic leader into the White House. Whether you judge that as good or bad is up to you, but it doesn’t help to be lost in fantasies about what’s going on, and how survival, corruption and ego are at play. -

You can be both and still be stupid in your understanding of political systems and the nuance in which they work. -
Terell Kirby replied to enchanted's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
The mistake is in thinking just because someone is “enlightened” or “awake” on some spiritual level, means they have a robust/deep understanding of political systems. These two things have no relation whatsoever. What I’m realizing is it takes an enormous amount of time to study and get a deep understanding of global politics and human psychology. You can’t do that if you spend all your time on a meditation cushion or doing yoga practice 24/7. -

He didn’t declare war and violence on anyone, nor accuse his oppressors of being evil. Yet he was a highly developed, highly conscious leader who mobilized people with a vision grounded in peace, harmony and compassion. Same goes for Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. You don’t always need to burn systems to the ground with war and violence to change them. Trump & MAGA feeds off conflict & division, using such tactics against them makes them stronger. The last thing the country needs is some counter revolutionary movement that sows more seeds of hate and division (fighting MAGA using MAGA tactics .. bad idea). -

Framing this as a war to be fought is counter productive. The solution lies primarily in educating yourself on corruption mechanisms of the human mind (both in yourself and in others), and how it corrupts human institutions that we hold as precious. By leading with a focus on developing yourself through understanding the realities of the human struggle for survival, you place yourself in a position of self mastery and conscious leadership to effectively change systems. This is beyond partisan food fighting, and the childish need to punish others for being who they are. It helps to be both pragmatic and compassionate. -
Any human survival activity must be corrupt, as human survival is not based in Truth. With that being said, corruption is not objectively “bad” in colloquial terms, and it doesn’t mean there isn’t relative survival value in being corrupt/selfish. However, your consciousness will remain limited if you are unable to see it for what it is (assuming you have an interest in raising your consciousness).
