  1. We may should regulate hedge-fonds and investment companies, as well as governments to not misuse AI. It was already misused e.g. in the case of Cambridge Analytica. Of course it is marketing that AI will somehow enslave us. Elon Musk is not a genius, but one of the best sales persons in the world. And Stephen Hawking etc. also need marketing. Scientist often make broad predictions and claims to gain attention.
  2. We are not even close to general AI. Maybe it won't be achieved at all, because this would require a complete new approach to machine learning/AI. It is more probable than unprobable that nobody of us will experience it.
  3. I think you won't be able to make money with mediocre to ok art in the future. But if you have the 'that special something', which distinguishes you from 'artificial art', which is mostly corny, then you can survive. True art will always be recognized. AI is reproducing art..
  4. AI is not really intelligent. It is crystal intelligence and little/no fluid intelligence. And it won't be in the future with current methods, which are basically the same as 30 years ago, just with some modifications. Basically, it is dynamic programming. Meaning, information from data is saved in datastructures, which is later reproduced. So no real intelligence or creativity takes into place.
  5. I have access to DALL-E 2 and I can assure you it isn't really creative and humans still can produce better images and will be that way. Moreover, you would need a robot if it is about drawing oil-paintings e.g. or watercolor etc. There are certain features on the way e.g. a hand had moved on the paper with which you can identify a good painter, which is hard to imitate to impossible even if a robot could draw paintings with a brush.
  6. Such a system is perhaps good to get the last 5 percent out. The 95% that make up the most need almost no tracking. Besides, classic physical notebooks like Bullet Journal are much more effective. Might have some value but 1500$ for the course is definitely overpriced - as is usually the case with coaching products.
  7. I have used the counter to track all my thoughts and reactions when I am on my way to the gym. By clicking, one is moderated or conditioned to be more attentive. And it's easier to condition yourself to let go. In addition, you know how many thoughts you have in, say, a 5 minute meditation and can get a better awareness of the monkey mind. You can also make a meditation out of taking the counter for 5 minutes and just clicking once on each thought. https://amzn.to/3naLsPa
  8. That is exactly rhe point, you have to be attuned to catch thoughts, which as you say are subtle. This increases your concioussness on that on which duality is caused by, thoughts. And it is useful because you don’t have to use your mind to count. So no thoughts fall on counting. It is not just the counting, the click sound plays the major role on this method.
  9. Yes, you can do it also on emotional reactions and or thoughts while taking a walk or count distractions etc. It is extremely effective.
  10. It hasn’t yet and can like any random model as well.
  11. You could say everything is made up of concepts and that's why it means nothing. But this reality has definite features that can be pointed to through natural language. If you try to see reality differently than it actually is, you lose the ability to survive. And ultimately, because of that, society and the world itself could not stay alive and reality could not exist as it is. That's what happens to crazy people. They cannot survive socially and if there wouldn't be social security, they would probably die early in most cases. If the people who care about crazy are crazy themselves, then it is as good as not caring about crazy. Because, they cannot care for themselves. Although that is also often the case. And thus bad to deadly for the society. The definition of crazy is not being aligned with consensus reality, which is made up by society. Now, society has evolved over many years. You can compare it with a near equilibrium-state, which has been reached in terms of social behaviour. And how we are structured as a society is similar to what you see in reality (animal kingdoms, hierarchies etc.) itself. If confused people try to change the system while not knowing what they are doing (which has been proven), then the system will get out of balance and ultimately collapse. Of course, people still kill each other etc. . And other things. But this is not dominantly present. Not allowing false truths to evolve has nothing to do with hate or similar. It has to do with reality and thus keeping our society in balance.
  12. I think you just explain the same thing in a different, more complicated way.
  13. Ingenious explanation. Metaphysics can be known without having learned it anywhere. It is as one intuitively recognizes metaphysical connections. Therefore it is also obvious that women are simply women in the sense of the natural body. Genetics is just an example to illustrate this. Potency is of men, fertility would describe women more. For me, it doesn't matter what feminists are committed to or what they do or have done and when. If that has to do with them, then that is probably the only thing that makes sense that has ever been uttered in their environment.
  14. Nowadays every random booksmart guy with an IQ of around 125 and no significant educational background can come around, push a theory into existence, call it science and manipulate naive and gullible people to actually believe it. I feel sorry for the people who actually created spiral dynamics. I am a little bit angry that truth doesn't matter anymore, don't care much about this guy.
  15. You "think" they are more valid? It doesn't matter what you think. You are one of billions of people.
  16. Spiral Dynamics is an inaccurate model and @Leo Gura only explains his personal version with own additions, which are not proven. Not logically and not with evidence. So it is used as a tool to make unproven subjective speculations look proven and scientific. It is not.
  17. Yes, it is as primitive as it sounds. The psychological part may differ. But what is always the same is the genetics. Someone can also think he is Donkey Kong. But that does not make him such. It takes place in the mind. And basically the person knows that deep inside. Because there is enough counter-evidence that this is not the case.
  18. I am glad I inspired you. It is the Regex for whatever characters and numbers they might add (or subtract). There is also LGBTQ2IA+ etc. The description doesn't include symbols or characters of foreign languages and so on they might add (or subtract), too.
  19. A woman has 2 X chromosomes and a specific genetic configuration. It is pretty easy. This includes tits, pussy, wider hips than men etc. Almost always they are overreactive, put themselves in the victim role and anxious. But this is not decisive - and often the case with pussy men - but genetics.
  20. That's the point. You come up with prejudices and generalizations that have nothing to do with the film. Therefore, you draw a negative picture about how the movie would look like. It was eye-opening, in the sense that the topic was illuminated from different perspectives, with the honest interest in the matter and the neutral consideration of the individual points. So like normal reporters and not biased, as is often the case. After the film, one has a very good overview of the facts and realizes that ([a-z]|[0-9])*\+ members mostly contradict themselves and actually have no idea what they are talking about.
  21. That you string together several fancy words that everyone knows doesn't make what you utter any smarter. People who do that often act smarter than they are to compensate for their deficits. You say you check it out ie you haven't looked at it yet. Then you come on and want to make arguments about how lame the movie would be.
  22. This depends on how you define progress. Because, it is just a concept and what you think about. However, the conventional understanding of progress depends on so many factors, that you cannot break it down. Parenting, environmental factors, genetics, brain efficiency etc. Now, people can speculate and it is basically luck, if they are right. But they may would know it in 1000 years from know. Moreover, progress depends on where you start.
