Don't agree, since no matter how enlightened you are, you still have to integrate into the collective in some way. And in this dream certain rules do apply. -
You cannot ever create a strategy for your life or life purpose that works out surely. No matter how sophisticated and thought through, it can get wrong anyways. This is a fantasy and honestly - a naive and irrational perspective. Nobody ever can calculate their life path. For me what you are writing is common sense and most people who are not mentally retarded do this. And it is cool to see people here, who are brave as well. Who are willing to risk something, because this is necessary but requires strength and character. If you want to go the even 60% certain path, this is not for you. Then getting a job and stay there would be a better decision. The more risk and the more fucked up the story, the higher the growth. However, I think it is wise to not do this too often. Otherwise, it could get too much. And in most cases it is recommended to do this when you are young. The older you get, the more responsibilities you have and the less energy and other resources to recover.

What I found out is that is a guarantee for success maybe around 1 percent. There are also people following the same patterns that are not that successful. As I see luxury as a baseline to live and excellence is my highest value, the most important thing in life for me is to create something really big, something gigantic. There I need at least one 9-10 figure business. And for me the nature of reality seems to be completely meaningless. Because, no matter what you consider - using proper contemplation you will recognize it doesn't matter and is as meaningless as everything else, too. Even concioussness work, which is not more meaningful than wiping toilettes. So my approach is to find something, which has much economic influence and is managable to create. So I have something which is meaningful to me - namely create a monster which literally penetrates the world. And of course, I am specializing as well. -
Cutted off all friendships, left first job after a year and closed myself in for about 2 years to work on my purpise living on unemployment benefit, because I spent all my money into either myself or business and also got low 5 figure debt. And I could have a really good paid job at this time. Said no to developer and management positions at Amazon, VW, BMW etc.. Had also contact to higher positioned managers and also CEOs of 9 figure businesses. I didn't care. Because I don't want to be in a fucking treadmill and wasting my valuable time as an employee. Nothing special about that. Working as a employed or freelance developer is basically the same as working at starbucks. Maybe even worse because you more likely think you have achieved something. Even if you loose your time. However, I want it more than anything else. And this can be an obstacle..

If you Listen to Leo's stuff it is always inspiring. Like everybody can change the world. In reality over 99% will not make it and there is no formula which gurantees success to more than 1%. In fact it is grace. The minimum is to apply all of Leos stuff + spending 100k for personal growth at minimum. And even then it is likely to not become one of the best and be recognised even after 10 years or 10k hours. At the end it is mostly grace and luck. I mean to make something really big. Like 1 mil followers ot Tony Robbins style. Of course moderate success is likely.

In Berlin you see such startups on each corner. Not inspiring to me. Often times they just make a small difference in the world and people behind it are like everybody else.

Casual sex is in most cases of course avoiding intimicy, which is the causal effect of having low self-esteem like most people do.

I think enlightenment is a term for a thing that no one knows what it is until it happens. People who are looking for enlightenment are either looking for liberation from negative emotions an explanation for reality, existence, self Since you don't even know what it is (it seems like you are searching for), how can you ever find a way to achieve it, if the goal is unknown? As you are looking for the above mentioned points right now, I would concentrate on finding the answers in this moment. And not in the future. Certainty is a concept and thus far away from the Truth. As well as an approach, which would give you certainty. -

I agree! Best tip is always to become expert in a field and be creative in this domain. -

Rational thinking, analysis, mathematics, insider Infos from trusted sources etc. . I think you have to be excellent to do this but it is possible. -

Most inffective way. If you study investment you can safely with a similar risk earn much more. -
Forgot that however, I refferred to the stocks which you cannot count as wealth in this case as it is probable never used.
-
And he would never cash out the stocks anyway, as that would be far too big a loss. And Tesla is a big part of his life purpose, so he would never sell the company either. Therefore, the arguments regarding selfishness are absurd in this case. Maybe he can do some small trades or trade with them and then buy his own stocks back, but he has to own a huge part of them.
-
Of course he has to own a huge part of the stocks. Otherwise he would not own enough parts of the company
-
If He wouldn't do that his companies wouldn't be able to grow in a pace that holds on with the greatest tech-companies. And then he couldnt provides the value he could that helps mankind to develop technologically. The competition would win the race. In economy rational thinking is of course necessary as you dealing with different development stages. It would be better to blame, that it is possible for these companies to set up complex tax saving structures that enables low tax expanses. And of course, lobbying is also involved.

Obviously, you are one of those who overestimate yourself and sooner or later fall on your face. I'm sorry for you, but I still wish you only the best
-
Lol you are funny. This isn't an argument as you don't know how I derive my conclusions and in addition I also "..rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself" I tried to help you and not debate. And also I previously addressed your argument. What I trying to communicate to you my friend, is that the conversation with you becomes silly and that I don't want to proceed.
-
It is really like I have a conversation with a little child. You draw reactive and fast conclusions without evidence. You lack of humility, life experience, self-estimation etc. . And your problem is not complicated, it is obvious.
-
Nope I haven't such problems right now. My primary need is not to survive, I have university degrees and a well paid job at a cutting edge tech-startup. You obviously have problems with other people and you are honestly somehow diverged from reality. As you don't recognize all the suffering comes from yourself and it has nothing to do with "other people". You imagine those people and don't recognize how everything is interconnected and everybody is on the right place right now. And you don't see how good life is, instead you see the flaws.
-
I haven't said that you have said this. Neither I have written this. This is obviously a projection. You haven't understood what real suffering means and what suffering is. There are two different things between "health is important" and being grateful for being healthy and having healthy people around you. If a friend of yours almost died, you would just be happy that he is alive. And you would not doubt anything about him. Not even the way of living. You wouldn't even think about something like self-improvement, but just be happy that everyone is doing well. If someone asks you for help, then you can help. Otherwise, it's not anyone's business to intervene. It is also hard for me to communicate this, maybe I don't do it right. But is has to do with respect for other people and for the life in general. And at a certain point you somehow see that everything is always good as it is..
-
Lol, I don't see this as a debate like you maybe do. I personally don't want to engage in a "who-is-right" discussion. For me, you want to deflect with not that convincing or smart arguments. You can do, but this shows that you want to defend something. Obivously, it is hard for you to understand the simple concept of seeing how precious life is no matter what. And that relative thinking doesn't make it better. It was about to be grateful for the people around you and seeing the potential instead of the flaws. You feel the discord by thinking about the imperfection of life. That is all. That is your suffering.
-
It is of course a motivation, but a negative one as it comes from negative emotions and a negative attitude. And moreover, it is not really an inspiration but motivation. As a wise man said "motivation is avoiding an outcome, inspiration means in-spirit".
-
Nope it is not narrow. You want to explain an emotional subject on an intellectual reasoning-based level. This of course, is narrow. If you experience real suffering, you know how valuable health and stability is and how selfish you are to put these things down. You take it for granted and you want to have more and more. This is ok, but obviously it doesn't come from a grateful but more like from a attached place.
