been doing cold showers for quite some time now. Tip: Put on 3 songs you like on your phone, and you know that when those songs are over your cold shower is over. This is not true, you are mistaking blending for juicing. blending doesn't destroy fiber. Also whats bad about eating this soup everyday? how can eating vegetables everyday be bad?

Yeah the soup is great, I've been making it lately as well. Thanks @Leo Gura. However couldn't help but laughing at the tiny amount of spices he adds to the soup. you need wayyy more lol. I recommend both black & white pepper. Also why the fuck add garlic powder? that's some American BS. Add real garlic. also add 2 onions to the mix. Onions are healthy & give great taste. I let it boil for 45 mins instead of 60, 60 mins is not needed and makes it too mushy. Also add the lemon juice when serving, not during the boiling process, the boiling fucks up the taste of the lemon juice.

In “the benefits of enlightenment” video, Leo says you have to give up all the good part of yourself including the love for your family. I thought enlightenment was about Love so why would you have to give up Love. If this is the case I’m never going to go for enligtenment. Middle finger to God if he makes you stop loving your family. And if all the good parts are given up, how is it even possible to combine life purpose and enlightenment? Thanks for the heads up Leo, now I know to never pursue enlightenment. No idea why anyone would willingly give up the love for family. Thats insanity.

precisely because I realize how loving my family is and has been is why I will never give up my love to them. I don’t see how that is taking it for granted.

I’ve been producing music on my computer for 6 years now. Also I’ve been very interested in the inner workings of music. Some insights: I realized is that a musical idea stands on itself, and is not the chords/sounds/rhythm/etc it is composed of. That is just a way to describe the musical idea to understand it/replay it. But the actual musical idea/song is its own entity. Its a prime example of “more than the sum of the parts”. If you can make music, you can literally think of any idea and make it a musical idea. Just think of the idea and start making the song. It will be the soundtrack to that idea. Your mind & body (ofc you need your body to play instruments/control the computer) will automatically shape the song to fit your mental idea until it fits. This is the magic of music & the mind. Music is primarily spiritual by nature, because it is pure creation. Secondarily it is emotional by nature, but we get the good emotions from it because we witness the beauty of the creation. And music is also physical by nature because it makes us move our bodies. And its mental in nature because music creates entire landscapes and stories in your mind. Of course these facets of emotional/physical/mental are really the same, strengthening and complementing one another. For example the dance (physical) hypes up the emotions even more. Nevertheless music theory is important to understand how principles in music work, and how the maths of it work. It’s about seeing which musical ratios have specific sounds to them, and about increasing your vocabulary to discuss various elements of music in an intelligent manner. On weed i had this weird but beautiful feeling that instruments are “holy mechanisms”. I mean look at a piano. It’s a machine but holy. -Healing: The beauty of music has healing properties because the beauty gives us a slice of life that we immensely enjoy and can appreciate. This heals our mind from the suffering that we face in life. Some music is made specifically for healing. Like I said any idea can be made into music, so also the idea of healing. There are also many levels of the storytelling of music. Some forms like rap tell you the story literally, while other forms like classical & electronic music leave much up to the imagination, but the sounds still have a way of talking to you, even when its not a literal narrative like rap. When I go to sleep I put on some healing music. This is my fav: There are many like this, just search for “chakra healing” etc. They do wonders.

If this is an openminded forum why block threads like these: You just locked the thread and said “like you know what God is” Why do you get to explain God in many threads, saying the most radical things, but this guy gets his thread locked for his explanation of God? This goes against the Actualized.org principle of “no dogma of any kind”. The same reply, “Like you know what God is” could be commented in response to your explanations of God, but you don’t get your thread locked. I don’t even agree with @Nak Khid, I think God is infinite. But you locking his thread is kinda contradictory considering you’re such an advocate of openmindedness.

The guy says that mushrooms came from outer space because their spores can survive that vacuum of space. Interesting theory, considering fungi are in a completely different biological kingdom than plants & animals.

Yes I am getting a free ride. I just shared my opinion that I think Nak Khid's thread shouldn't have been locked. Also, explain to me why it is so obvious that Nak Khid's thread was trolling? If that is obvious trolling, then by those standards a thread where a guy asks if there are any enlightened black people at all is definitely trolling.

@Leo Gura Sure, I understand. I made this thread discussing why I don’t agree with the lock. What is the exact rule why he was locked? And of course a rule is a bias. How can you make rules if you are not biased?

Because we should take the point seriously if we are truly openminded. Even if his point is close minded we should rise above and take his point seriously as open-minded people. Classic Pyrronism. His point is not hateful. It also talks about God, the strangest and most incredible thing we can think of. So why would Leo have the authority to lock his thread? Does Leo have the authority on the most epic thing you can know; the nature God? Leo explained that he locked because he thinks it BS and he wants to lead people the right way on his forum. admitting he is biased towards his own ideas of God. We are all biased of course, nothing wrong with that. As long as we admit that we are. I don’t think Nak Khid’s point should’ve been censored, which is why I made this thread.
