Only 17 percent of young adults in the United States could find Afghanistan on a map and math scores have hit an historic low. Now we know why. -
This is a thread for a general discussion on AI chatbots, like chatgpt, and how they are limiting access to or censoring information. The other issue is the power dynamics – are the powerful going to have their own bots with uncensored access that gives them an even more unequal access to information. Knowledge is power. One thing I am beginning to notice about chatgpt is that there is a built in political correctness which limits your access to useful information. For example, I will ask it something like “tell me why people are criticizing X”, and it will come up with something like “you have to be open minded and careful not to criticize, blah blah blah” or it punts to its default copout – “I apologize but as an AI language model, I cannot ......”. These models have access to a massive amount of data, and an uncensored version of the bot would turn up some extremely valuable information that would override the propaganda that most of us get from mass marketers and other propagandists. I bet powerful and rich people are going to get access to uncensored searches that gives them an even greater advantage.

I saw a Robert Kennedy interview, where he said he could end the war rapidly. The reality is that this is a war between the United States and Russia, with Ukraine being used as a proxy. The war wouldn’t be possible without US support. The Washington elites are willing to fight to the last Ukrainian. Kennedy pointed out that Putin has already made several reasonable offers. This isn’t about giving Putin everything he wants. It’s about negotiating and resolving a complex situation and ending the slaughter, and the subsequent destabilization of the world. The war mongers don’t want you to know that neither side can win this through military conflict. -

What they are doing doesn’t make sense to my belief system. However, there is a part of me that thinks it may be legitimate behavior which then causes me anxiety. I then construct fantasy scenarios and present them to my belief system which then concludes that I am still right and they are foolish. Result: the anxiety goes away temporarily, but then comes back. So, I post my beliefs to hopefully get group support of my beliefs and enhance their anxiety suppression potency. If this doesn’t succeed, there is a small chance that there will be a breakthrough and my entire belief system will reorganize. Then I will become a monk. But my current mind is terrified of this prospect. No... they are foolish. Please tell me you agree. -
The problem is that the more information you gather by endlessly reading books, the more you have to let go if you want to awaken. It keeps you on the hamster wheel.

In 1953, Jacobo Arbenz become president of a democratically elected government in Guatemala. He was enacting a major land reform program. At the promoting of the United Fruit Company, he was removed from power by the CIA and a military junta put in his place. This is when Che Guevara decided to become a revolutionary. For him it was proof that meaningful reform could never be accomplished by a democratic system, because if a reformer were elected he would just be removed by the imperialist power. So, revolution was the only moral course to take. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Che_Guevara

That is because perpetual war is the establishment position. The foreign policy of the Republicans and Democrats is the same. Biden is no different than Obama, Clinton, Bush, etc. They all continue hegemonic policies.

Isn't that what you are doing? Jesus seemed to have a lot of patience with his disciples. Jesus went after the authorities who had real power. He wasn't being reactive, he was rebuking authorities who were doing real harm to others. -

Jesus would tend to go after important leaders, like spiritual teachers or money lenders who were using the sacred for their own benefit and misleading people. But for anonymous posters he was more inclined to arrange a meetup and give them free bread and fish. -
There is a spiritual interpretation of the differences which expands on the dictionary definitions. Judgment is a negative process that involves personal bias, emotional reactions, and imposing one’s own beliefs or values onto others. Discernment is a positive and conscious process that involves objective observation and clarity of thought. Discernment is objective, without the emotional component of judgment. Discernment allows for a deeper understanding of oneself and others and cultivates compassion. It avoids the destructive patterns associated with Judgment. https://www.awakeningself.com/writing/judgement-vs-discernment/

There is evidence that hunter gatherers used yopo thousands of years ago. Yopo is just as strong or a stronger psychedelic than LSD (which i can attest too). “Archaeological evidence, including the presence of yopo seeds and associated paraphernalia, suggests that yopo has been used by indigenous cultures for thousands of years. In some hunter-gatherer caves and rock shelters, remnants of yopo snuffing rituals have been discovered, providing insights into the ancient cultural practices of the people who inhabited those areas.”

The below video is a good example of someone who used Buddhism to live a happy life. If you are tired of the philosophical bullshit and actually want to reduce your suffering and be happy, check it out. -
My Bufo journeys are mostly positive. But I know a spiritual teacher who said that he saw evil entities on Bufo and he insists that they were real.

He was punishing himself. I did cannibis a few weeks after taking black ayahausca, and the cannabis was laughing at my ayahuasca trip, and saying that anything that creates fear is a false path. It said: Take the path with no fear. Be calm. Doesn’t the “spiritual teacher” recognize that what he is seeing is himself? – the message come from himself.

You are coming from the assumption that you are an "individual". -
I have also witnessed instances where a business is working because it has a good manager, but the owner is an alcoholic who just collects the money.

It has nothing to do with providing value. It's about power. It's about having status in the hierarchy.

He learned to think logically and how to be a true public servant. This is extremely rare today. -
Ayahuasca is more physical than something like LSD, which is more cerebral. When I was in the Amazon, I took Black Ayahuasca, which is like a super ayahuasca. Within a few minutes, I was shivering and freezing cold even though we were in the jungle. Someone else told me he felt someone punching him in the face. The medicine goes deep into your body and mind.

Most of the world doesn’t understand the fine distinctions of America’s domestic squabbles and see no difference between Obama, Trump, or Biden. It always ends up in some place being bombed. -
You are always seeing yourself. There are no monsters or demons. It is you.

Robert Kennedy, Jr. would be the ideal president to reform the system. He grew up in a political family and knows the system better than anyone in America. When he was a kid, he was hanging out and listening to conversations between JFK and his father. And he has probably already met most of the world leaders. Based on his long experience, he has his own take on what is wrong with the system and he has a plan to fix it. Trump talked about draining the swamp, but Kennedy actually has the knowledge to do it. It should tell you something that the mainstream media won’t give him a platform and are trying to smear him as a “conspiracy theorist”. He will have to use the Internet to get his message out. The establishment with its forever wars bankrupting your future doesn’t want the system to change. It’s profitable for them. Is it profitable for you? -

In foreign policy they are the same. They both support forever wars and a policy of hegemony. This is the establishment position. Biden is pro war. He strongly supported the invasion of Iraq and he is now using Ukraine in a proxy war with Russia, instead of using his influence to negotiate an end to the war. The only major political candidates that have pushed back on this warmongering policy are Trump and Robert Kennedy, Jr.
