You mean the snuff up your nose? It is a combination of ceremonial tobacco(nicotina rustica) and other mixture of flowers and herbs. Its like a power hit of nicotine that grounds and stimulates you at the same time. Quite effective for meditation and it is sometimes used before Ayahuasca and other plant medicine ceremonies to ground but also stimulate the consumers. On an energetic level it clears and purges out toxic energies from the body. Sometimes shamans would smoke a fat blunt of this stuff or pass it around to cleanse the space of discordant energies. It is not a psychedelic but works hand in hand with psychedelics as it acts as a MAOI and can potentiate substances.

Everything is natural, ultimately yes, but there is a difference in the (energetic domain) and what occurs when something has been altered from its natural state and form. That is simply what you have become consumed in and cannot see past because that is where you have decided to reside. I have personally played around with both natural and synthetics and i must agree with these wise men and woman because i have experienced more depth and connection where with synthetics there seems to be lacking, especially in connection, to nature, to spirit, to the energetic domain. Do as you please with your own life, Although i personally feel you should be more wise about how you guide others because i feel its premature. This is what happens when people play around with substances only the highest shamans can navigate and utilize properly as they have been trained since children to master the energetic mechanics and terrains of the psychedelic world. Many shamans don't even mess with 5-meo for these reasons, especially not synthetically lab-made by-products as suggested on this forum which is very unwise advise. At least they stick to the intelligence of nature, as they are aware that man-made substances are energetically distorted when they have been chemically altered and missing the entire body for a more whole and balanced effect, that when missing its whole, can leave you in a bigger mess than you started. Stick to nature people, it has been evolving and perfecting life for billions of years. It knows best. You are basically arguing with creation attempting to synthetically re-create gods-creation. An Enlightened being would not attempt to re-create nature but rather assist in what already is provided by creation itself, just as it is. It may be easier to utilize in synthetic form but it naturally comes with the consequences and side effects because its going against nature and natural law. This is not the first time we hear this about such substances. Very few people understand psychedelic substances and the energetic effects they create as a shaman who devotes his or her whole life to the entire practice. They can literally commune with nature in ways we cannot even imagine. They are the closest thing we have to a direct extension of nature in human form, they are directly in tune with spirit, they can shape-shift and even embody animals and deeply understand the energetic nature of things and how things work. They are called wise-men and wise-women for a reason. You are playing with things you simply do not understand. We have shamans for a reason, don't be stubborn and potentially ruin your life.

Unconditional Love is beyond what LSD and MDMA can show you. Many times substances give false/artificial love/enlightenment experiences leading people back for more and more which occurs with people who haven't experienced and embodied these things directly to know the difference. The real thing is entirely different. Substance can only take you so far. The embodiment, integration and true Innerstanding can only stem from within. The substances can give you the spark, but spark is not enough for true understanding of what concepts like Enlightenment, Unconditional Love, Truth actually are in their deepest sense as it requires a gradual building of relationship and merging of all aspects of self as the I AM Presence.

Tabernanthe iboga seems to have more promising and life-changing results than any psychedelic i have experienced or read about thus far. I have read and seen some amazing results. It is said to be the Grandfather of plant medicines. Many have described and said they wouldn't even class it as a psychedelic, rather a true entheogen(plant medicine) due to how powerful and effective it is, where most people only need a full (flood) dose once, while with other psychedelics can take multiple sessions to reach such a deep reset to where you no longer need the substance. Some have also experimented and stated that micro-dosing Iboga is far more effective than traditional psychedelics to which one can reach deeper insights and levels of self-awareness with a micro-dose (250mg to 500mg of rootbark powder) to which is in comparison to a medium level trip on traditional psychedelics(LSD, Psilocybin, Ayahuasca, Mescaline) ect.. while being lucid and able to do daily tasks. Pairing with Cannabis has also shown exceptional results similar to higher doses of Iboga alone. For Addictions, Trauma, Disorders, it seems Iboga is Unparalleled. A potent anti-depressant which can last in your body up to 6 months, although after effects can last a lifetime depending on your lifestyle. One article stated that while psychedelics like Ayahuasca take you farther into the cosmos and universe, Iboga takes you deeper into the core of your being. This is why it is said with Iboga you can actually integrate the experiences more effectively because it doesn't take you beyond your core self/earth life (what is actually relevant in the here and now), while others focus more on cosmic and universal truths beyond this life and realm which can be a struggle to integrate and translate into earth-based frequency/lifestyle or language. There however have been some fatalities with Iboga because it can build up in your system and interact negatively with some medication/supplementation similar to ayahuasca, so best do your research and under the guidance of a Iboga shaman would be most wise. Would be interesting to see someone who has tried both Iboga and 5-Meo to compare especially with a EEG machine to scan and compare brainwaves. I wouldn't think its wise to comment on both if one has not experienced both directly. Although based on what i have read, Iboga seems to be more successful than 5-Meo or any psychedelic for that matter, especially when it comes to Addiction, Trauma, Psychological Disorders and our general physical life on Earth. I think its still fresh because its more rare to come by and the few horror stories keeping most uneducated people away, but if you really do your research, you will be amazed, most people actually have amazing experiences, especially when following proper shamanistic and medical/diet guidelines and proper set/setting as Iboga although, is predominantly a Masculine energy, it also provides Feminine energies if necessary, so it will provide what you need most, a true plant medicine. It effects seem to go hand in hand with deep meditation/introspection/self-realization. Hope this helps clear things up.
