Just immortality? I think it is like taking the elevator to higher dimensions where the mind is able to reach deeper and deeper understanding. But why people die if this can be attainable in one life? If matter is happening inside my imagination then I should be able to transcend the body limitations and upgrade my mind to the next level in this lifetime.

@WHO IS agreed, evolution always comes with fresh ideas and doesn't cling to the past. To get unstuck, we need to get rid of certain ideas that keeps humanity trapped in lower level of consciousness. And all these mad scientists talk about aliens from another dimension which makes no sense from a 3D perspective because we're fools believing this is all there is.

You can't think outside the box when you're inside the "reality" box.

I know what is 'this' but to me it sounds like materialism in disguise. Basically, you're saying that we're homo sapiens and everything that happens is from a relative pov. Because infinite consciousness took the form of a human and each with their own story. It sounds alluring but it isn't so simple. If I am God, then 'this' shouldn't decide for me just because it is. All of this sounds like stagnation and constipation, not the actual spiritual evolution.

It makes no sense dude since you have no brain, you are not this decaying matter. Don't you see that we're identifying with our thoughts? Death is imagined, so why the fuck are we talking about things that don't even make sense?

It isn't satisfying because the different types of "this" are imagined to be true and not the fundamental truth. If I am God manifesting reality then I should be able to cheat death and become infinite reality. I doubt that infinite consciousness exists for its own amusement... because it is bored to death

Maybe this line gives a clue about what's happening in the movie: To me, it's more about perceptions and how reality could be totally different from what we're used to. Perhaps that color was an alien dimension that once perceived, it led to insanity because the brain was not accustomed to it, thus provoking some sort of collective hallucinations. But there could be multiple interpretations, hopefully someone could enlighten us about the true meaning. Edit: "The Mist" is another awesome movie about alien dimensions and absurdity of the human existence ?

Well, work towards accomplishing these goals gradually and take it easy. You will find meaning in realizing your dream. Since you know what needs to be done in order to become a superhero as that's the ultimate goal of yours, nothing should get in your way. And btw, you're already a superhero just that you haven't realized it yet! Nihilism is nothing but mental masturbation, stagnation and constipation, not the ultimate truth. You need to become aware that you're the entire Universe, not something small and insignificant whose existence is limited in space and time. Just be careful as this process might scare the hell out of you as you will need to throw out of window everything you know and learned till now.

I don't agree that pure awareness is nothing because being aware requires observing something and, from my point of view, it is pure because there is no judgement. You could say that babies experience pure awareness.

Interesting question. Personally, I think that I gained more understanding and wisdom and now I know myself better, so you could say that I'm more inside my head. From my pov, when you become more conscious, you're judging less and perceiving more which removes the 'what it could have been' wishful thinking. All that remains is the pure awareness which doesn't make distinctions between self and the object/subject of direct experience. But that doesn't mean that you instantly become God with head in the clouds. To me, there's no end to the self-inquiry... so thinking is necessary and even judging from time to time. Analyzing is good, just be careful to not lose yourself in the process

You are the existence itself, not just a concept. You are everything that ever was and will ever be. The purpose is not to kill the 'I' but to stop identifying with your false self and realize that you are God and everything is your mirrored self and a projection of yourself. But to get there, you need to reach that "tabula rasa" state again which comes by default from birth. Then you can start reprogramming your mind and make the rules because till now you've been thinking that you're a homo sapiens monkey which is not the truth. Reality is stranger than fiction.

Lol, you're just theorizing and have no idea what nothingness is. Nothingness is the same as death except that you can reach that state while being alive. It is clear to me that you've never experienced such state, otherwise you wouldn't use such nonsensical words such as pure awareness ?

Nothingness has nothing to do with pure awareness But that cannot be expressed in words if you've never reached that nondual "state".
