On LSD I had no anxiety... once a friend of mine started freaking out and I tried to calm him while I was tripping which was kinda unusual But I have lots of self control and I know how to handle my shit together, I doubt that all the people have the same reactions.

Psychedelics won't help you either if you have a predisposition towards anxiety or other mental disorders. They could actually make it worse. @Dylan Page don't worry, I had these anxiety episodes too which made me go to the bathroom. It is normal for some people to freak out when they have awakenings. Just take it easy and be careful with your health because you don't want to get sick. When you feel intense emotions, simply take a break and do something else till you feel ready. Good luck.

A nun could be more depraved than a prostitute. Prostitutes may face humility and aggression everyday, so they're trained to handle these emotions better since they're used to it. Being spiritual from a couch and in a safe environment is always easy. And who are we to judge these people? Their wounds are way deeper than you can imagine, and I can bet that you would be in their place, you would jump in front of a train to end up your suffering. So if you change your brain chemistry, you can experience a different reality. There's no reason to create another virtual world as we're already living in one ? As for what's limiting the imagination, consider that everything in the universe can at its core be explained by light. Light transmits spatial and temporal information... so an explanation would be that when there is a delay / uncertainty in your intention, reality takes longer to manifest (future). But it's probably way more complicated than that, maybe only an alchemist could be able to turn imagination into reality. So you'd better ask a mage ?

Agreed, the Universe or nature cannot exist independently of our perception but @An young being is asking why there are fixed laws. We usually assume that there's an Universe prior to our experience but the question imo is who or what sets up the rules? Is it a collective, or an individual mechanism that glues all the things together?
